Excellent service. Came and replaced a water heater. Did some trouble shooting and went way above and beyond to get us up and running with hot water. Knowledgeable , professional, excellent communication. I cannot say enough about Big Bears Plumbing. Will definitely use for any and all future plumbing needs. Highly, highly recommend.

I am so pleased with your high level of professionalism and quality of work. My project needed someone who could be flexible and thorough. My project was completed quickly, up to code and highest quality. Your knowledge of the plumbing codes saved us a ton of work and headache in the future. My project has increased in value due to your work. Even fixing other professionals work without complaining was a plus. I would hire you again for any job in the future. Thank you Big Bear, the Plumber.

We can not say enough about Big Bear Plumbing. Barry is such a hard working, knowledgeable man and we do and will recommend him to any one that needs plumbing services. We had to have our home completely re-piped, he gave us a good/fair quote than adjusted it, when a couple things that were thought to have to been addressed didn't need to be, he worked hard, kept us informed on everything, answered all our questions, double checked everything and also let us know, if needed he would be here for us.

Barry of Big Bear's Plumbing is a great guy and a fantastic plumber. I have a 75+ year old house that developed a small leak behind the wall in the bathroom. When I told Barry what was going on he said "" I'll be there today"". After checking it out he had a plan to fix it and a really reasonable quote to go with it. He came back the next day and did a great job of dealing with the challenges an old home presents. I have never written a yelp review before but felt I had to so others could know what an awesome choice Barry of Big Bear's plumbing is!

I can't recall whether or not I wrote a review on Barry ""Bear"" so want to make sure I do it now.
They don't come any better at all! We were treated so well. They are so good at what they do!!! We received superior customer service from Bear and his team.
They installed a Kohler walk-in shower for us and did an impeccable job! They worked long and hard to get the job done in the short time they promised. It was a huge job to remove the shower/tub enclosure from our tiny condo bathroom. Absolutely nothing was damaged in the tiny space they had to work in.
They were so friendly and cleaned everything us so well.
We are so impressed with Barry and his company. Can't say enough good things about him/them! Thanks so much Bear!!!!!

These guys drove from their home base to Walla Walla to install a Kohler walk in bath for us, purchased from Pacific Bath in Portland Oregon.
Their work was great and they were personal and friendly. Highly recommended!

Job description: tub replacement with walk in shower.
The job was scheduled without needed parts. The start date was reschedule twice. The existing bath was ripped out then it was discovered that the new shower floor pan was broken. Work stopped. Who schedules a project with out needed parts? Job was delayed for another day.
As Barry, the plumber, never asked about access to the crawl space I thought I had better take a look. What I discovered was that the shower pan did not rest on the floor but was supported by one side of the drain nut. The drain assembly did not clear the floor penetration as it should have. Movement on the shower pan creates a creaking noise indicating that the pan flexes and is not properly set. In addition to that it appeared that Barry had attempted to seal the drain by stuffing the piping into the drain fixture and sealing it with plumbers putty and some black plastic film some of which was hanging off of the ""P"" trap. Needless to say that method failed. Water did not just drip from that joint it streamed creating a mud puddle and destroying some insulation. Barry returned and stopped the leak by repacking the joint and suspending the piping with a metal strap. He did not remove the destroyed insulation and he did not replace it.
The Rite-Temp valve was plumbed backward. The web site says ... ""Single lever design cycles from off through cold to hot."" As installed it cycles from off through hot to cold. Also the temperature will run far to hot given that this valve, as I understand it, is supposed to prevent that.
Other issues with this job are as follows:
The corner moldings are two different colors one is white the other is gray.
While installing a wall panel the textured ceiling was scared and the shower pan was damaged. The hole in the pan was repaired with silicone caulk. The repair looks like crap. The scar in the ceiling remains.
The back panel and one end panel were set with a bulge.
The grab bar was set three inches above requested height.
There are small areas of insufficient caulk.
A two foot long dirty hand print smear was left on a wall.
Given the problems I have experienced with Big Bear Plumbing I have to wonder how this plumber can stay in business.
