I had the same experience as some of the other folks on here (Paige, Denise M, Duke).

Eric is a super nice guy and he has good reviews overall, but I think his bread and butter is quick easy fixes (swap out a fixture, unclog a toilet, tighten up a leaky pipe), so if that's what you need he's your guy.

Anything that requires a lot of work or expertise he's going to jack up the price (to make it worth his while) or tell you he can't do it.

When you question his prices he goes on and on about how he has to pay taxes, the time it takes to drive to the store, all of the parts he has to buy, gas for his truck, soldering, the time to cut things, etc, etc.

At the end of the day, my biggest gripe was that he came to my house, looked at something for 5 minutes, said he couldn't do it, told me I'd need to call someone else, and he charged me $150 for the ""inspection"".

Great guy. Great work. Man with a plan. Always responsive and has taken care of us even when we have issues at the house and we're not home. I trust him! He did custom plumbing for a 2 new bathrooms, helped with leaks in other areas, and is all around a great person.

Big Bear did a great job disconnected a broken whole house filtration system and rerouted the copper pipe. Even made sure there was a gate valve in the new set up.

Incredible service today! I had a drip line in my irrigation that was stuck in the on position, and Eric got it fixed in no time. Eric also noticed I didn't have an irrigation filter on my well water and that could also have been sending sediment into my valves and sprinklers so I'm no getting a quote to have them add that to my system. I'm grateful for the knowledgeable help, affordable price and quick turnaround

This is a tough one...while Eric is a great guy, I question his prices and knowledge. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I called him out for a shower faucet that wouldn't regulate temps, a leaky outside spigot and a slow flushing toilet. Toilet was an easy fix...Granted he has nothing with him and has to drive out to get supplies, charging for time of course.

First was the spigot. He told me right off it was busted and he'd have to cut through the walls inside the house to replace the spigot and get to the pipes??? WHAT!? The spigot was clearly able to be removed from the outside, and I told him it had the flex pipe inside that pulls out. My word was doubted, he said he'd check it out. Shockingly it was an easy replace, screwed off and had the flex pipe. Again, he had to drive off to get the parts.

Next up was the shower faucet. He got the external parts off and pulled out the cartridge. We have Koler faucets and he is not familiar with them at all. The cartridge came out in pieces, well he pulled it out like that. He drive off to his supply place, the only place that carries Koler (per him)...and came back telling me they were out of stock and it would be three weeks. He proceeded to put my cartridge back in as he had to to turn the water back on. Well, apparently the cartridge wasn't supposed to be in pieces and the water shot out the faucet. He told me I'd have to replace the whole faucet, $1000 or leave the water off for 3 weeks. FORTUNATELY he had a cancellation and had time to rip it all out to replace. AND leave me with an unusable shower with at least 4 missing tiles. My hubby was griping at work about this & one of his docs mentioned other supply places. He called me on the nick of time before he started Demolition. Lo and behold the other place had the part, and he still up-charged to go get the part. Shame on him for not attempting or even being familiar with other supply shops.

The trail of dirt who left through the entire house was pretty epic also. Didn't wipe his feet or brush off his jeans at all. If you want to be overcharged, by all means give him a call. If you want to be left a a lurch, by all means give him a call. If you want good price and good work and good knowledge, call somebody else

SEARCH NO LONGER!!! Wow! Is the best way to describe this. That's wow in a great way! Their professionalism and knowledge is amazing. Sorry Eric, today was really expensive--$800 to install a commercial sink and faucet after I had to explain how to put it together (and drop everything, rearranging my day at your insistence--because you couldn't understand instructions over the phone) to rush over to Resco only to find out we had all the parts we needed.

Eric came within hours to help get my irrigation system up and running for the summer. He was good to explain things to me as I have not had an irrigation system before and how to winterize (or summer-ize) the system myself. He was careful and made sure all was working well.
