WORST PLUMBERS EVER!
I called them because of their 5 star review. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that half of their reviews were from out of the area - Washington, Nevada, Maryland, as well as across the state of California - Sacramento, Malibu, Menlo Park, San Francisco. Are these even authentic reviews?
Called them out to fix a sewer problem. He spent 30 minutes, pulled out a wad of hair with the rotor rooter, and said that was the solution. Although I told him that every 2 years I have the sewer line rotor rootered to clean out roots.
I had to call them again 2 1/2 wks later because the sewer line was stopped up again. They snaked it again, but left without talking to me. A technician came 4 days later to give a ""free video,"" but when he tried to put a video camera down the pipe, he couldn't even get it in the clean out pipe due to ROOTS!
On Monday am (3 wks after the original call) called the owner, Joe, again, to schedule a return visit to fix the problem - by then we also had a toilet back up over the weekend.
He said they were busy, but they'd try to get someone out that day (Monday) or Tuesday. When no one had come by Tuesday afternoon, called him again, and scheduled for Wed am. NO ONE SHOWED UP. Called again that afternoon, left message, got no response.
Thursday, still slow pipes, and still no call back from Joe - have been trying to minimize water that goes into the sewer system for a week, by now - showering at Sports Center, not doing laundry, etc.
Thursday afternoon, when still haven't heard from Joe, called another plumber and scheduled for Friday am.
Friday am, whole sewer line backed up, had inches of sewage waste water in all 3 showers! All Service Plumbing came out promptly, with a much larger Snake, found blockage under the house, and two more in the line. All of which should have been able to be fixed by the original service call by Big Angelos.
A technician from Big Angelos did finally come out late Friday am, without calling to reschedule, but he turned around and left, as All Service Plumbing was already working on the problem.
Friday afternoon, Joe called. Claimed his worker was sick, and that's why he didn't show on Wednesday. Had no apology or explanation for not canceling or not returning my calls. When I explained that I'd called another plumber, and about the waste water back up - got lots of arguments, defensiveness, and blame.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Best experience I've ever had with a plumber. He was super helpful and nice, really fast, and even helped with some additional stuff with my shower. Really really nice guy, definitely going to recommend Big Angelos to anyone in the Monterey/PG area

Our heater stopped working and it's been awhile since I had to find a heater repair company.
I used YELP and found Big Angelo's.
They came out on Saturday and diagnosed the problem as a bad circuit board.
They ordered the part and came back on Tuesday to get the job done.

They found a cheap board and charged a VERY reasonable rate for the job.

The last time I replaced the board it was over 400.00. This time it was more reasonable and HEY they were courteous, got the job done in a timely manner.

Great job guys.

This was a heating problem, but I bet you they do as good a job with plumbing.

They are now at the top of my list for both plumbing and HVAC.

These guys are the best! After getting ripped off by Crazy Drains ($98 for absolutely nothing), Big Angelo's tech cleaned my main drain to the street in very short time and charged me a very reasonable $95, why use anyone else??

Top notch service. I will definitely be a return customer, hopefully not anytime soon....I was quoted 4x the price from a competitor (BF plumbing), the owner of Big Angelo's scoffed and said we would never do that to you. Stop shopping around because these guys do it right and they price it fair. It could be some conspiracy that they have competitors charge 500 for a 100 dollar job so you are satisfied with their price...but thats just paranoia. BIG ANGELO'S IS PARAMOUNT. So stoked I wasn't reamed by the dead founding father plumbing.

Juan from Big Angelo's did a great job fixing a leak in our kitchen sink plumbing. We needed a rapid repair, and Juan arrived literally within an hour of our call. He was courteous and conscientious. He took the time to answer our questions and address any concerns that we had. I would recommend Big Angelo's in a heartbeat.

You cannot go wrong with Joe and Big Angelo's plumbing. We've used them several times now and each time has been a pleasure. Yesterday my water heater started leaking (it was 19 years old!) and from the time I called and talked to Joe on the phone (and he remembered me and where I lived as soon as I said who it was!) to completion of installing new water heater, new valves, new gas line, AND giving my furnace a maintenance service, it was less than 3 hours. AND I hadn't noticed the problem til 10:30 am so it wasn't like I called first thing in the morning.

What a pleasure to work with someone who puts customer service first. He also has an eye for great employees - Lewis came out yesterday and was professional, pleasant, and definitely knew his business.

Thanks for another disaster averted, Joe!

These guys are terrific. I called them Sat. morning around 10 and they were at my house by noon with a brand new water heater. I live in a difficult to find rural property and they found the house without any issues. They removed and installed the new heater very quickly, tested all the lines and cleared the lines. The price was exactly as quoted and there was a $15 first time customer discount. Lewis and his brother in law (sorry forgot his name) were very pleasant, good with my dogs, no complaints about the awkward location of the water heater and left the site of installation much cleaner than they found it. Do not hesitate to call this professional company. I will definitely use them for any plumbing or heating needs.
