Very sketch guy. Was making a much bigger deal out of a small drip leak. They completely miscommunicated their rates and billing. Be Careful with these guys. I have never asked anyone to leave a job, but my gut said I needed to with this guy.

I was called back immediately and had an appt first thing after my store opened.
Jim was very nice and gave me a free quote. He then proceeded to repair my toilet issue in a quick and timely manner.
He explained what to do going forward to avoid another issue.
I would recommend this company to my friends.

I contacted the company through Yelp, and they responded promptly within an hour as advertised. Timing was essential because I had a pipe leak that happened on a Saturday afternoon. I was not able to turn on the water until the issue was fixed. They came right out, assessed the issue and were able to make the repair. I live in an old building so there were a few hurtles that were thrown their way, but they were creative and handled them with ease. The guys were both very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I appreciated that they cleaned up their work area very nicely as well. I would recommend their services.

Back when I used to live in that area, we had a problem with our toilet. The flush was kinda sorta broken, you had to put it in a specific position or other wise it would keep running and keep you up all night... it was very very annoying. My husband tried looking into it but even the handy man that he is he was not able to fix it. So we did a yelp search and found Big Angelo's. They were able to come in the next day, and they took care of the problem quickly, efficiently and professionally. After that visit, we never had problems with the toilet again. They solved it for good. The company is great and I would recommend it to any body if you want to get rid of your problem for good. They are also cheap. Big Angelo rules! 5 stars!

I gave them one star because yelp does not offer no stars. It is now 430 in the afternoon and we called them last night at 7 PM so 20 hours later and no response. If you need a plumber in a hurry and you call Big Angelo's you'll just be up shit creek. We waited until the next morning and went to Pacific Grove hardware and got the same excellent service that they always give. Empower yourself and buy a toilet snake.

My water heater died on a friday afternoon. To their credit, a tech from Big Angelo's called me right back and was ready to install a new heater that evening. I was quoted a price of $4575 (overtime waived), which was reduced to $4375. $2000 for the water heater (I asked and this is what the tech told me) and the rest presumably for installation. I asked if the price was competitive and was told that it was. As it turned out, I needed a heater that was not locally available so the installation had to be delayed to the following week. On Monday I found that a local business would charge $1100 less. I talked to Big Angelo's about the difference in cost. I was told ""thats what my boss charges and thats the way it is."" Then I received a text informing me that the heater had a 6 year warranty and the cost quoted included their own 10 year warranty for parts and service which I would be grateful for in 7 years when the heater broke. A few points about this. The price was not competitive, and it would have been better to know about the warranty cost up front. And, the heater I had installed for $1100 less came with its own 10 year warranty. What bothers me is that had Big Angelo's been able to purchase the heater from its local supplier on Friday evening, I would gone ahead with the installation without ever knowing I could haved saved over a thousand dollars had I waited until Monday to make more calls. So my advice is to shop the price if possible. Other than that, Big Angelo's was responsive and I'm sure would have done a fine job.

I contacted them through Yelp and received a quick response. I was able to make an appointment quickly and they came and saw the problem, told me the fix, and gave me a quote.
Then, the next day, they came back and installed the new toilet within an hour and told us what the problem was.

Very professional. Quick. Responsive. I recommend them for your plumbing needs.

It's cold today, really cold. My heater broke in the middle of the night and my home is about 53 degrees--and I am home from work with the flu. What a day.
I smelled gas and PG&E quickly came out and told me that I had a broken part and that I would need a contractor to fix the problem.
I called several heating companies and no one was available to warm me up today, then I called Big Angelo's Plumbing & Heating and left a message. Lewis called me back in about 10 minutes! He said that he had the part on his truck and could be at my home in 30 minutes! Awesome service. He replaced the broken part quickly. I asked him a bunch of questions about other plumbing things at my home and he was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this local company.

Absolutely fantastic! I had at least three other plumbers stop by to give quotes. My experience with these other plumbers was terrible. Either the quotes were off the charts or they never bothered to follow up. Two plumbers kept promising to get me a quote and somehow never managed to get around to it. Total waste of time.

With Big Angelo's it was professional from the very beginning. A pleasant experience, the work was superb and the cost was very reasonable. These are my plumbers from now on.

Clogged toilets, leaving town, needed it working before we left for our house guests.

Showed up in an emergency so kudos for that. Would not quote a price over the phone (or even a ballpark). Too desperate to care.

Once there, quoted $179 to clear main line from outside, took about 20 minutes. (Typical same-day price, if I could have waited until late afternoon was about $125 - 140.)

Plumber was a bit grumpy, but got the job done. Probably would not use again.
