I have used Bienvenu Brothers in the past, but after my most recent experience I am concerned I might have been overcharged then as well because I am a female that is clueless to HVAC units. Our upstairs air conditioning went out last week and we had their AC man come out, he came out the next day which was prompt enough. He and another worker spent about 30 minutes at the house and told me we had a leak in the coil. Leak apparently could either be an inside leak or an outside leak, and because ours was inside it was not nearly as severe. I was informed they were filling it up with Freon because a considerable amount had leaked out and that it should last us around 6 MONTHS. They were going to look at getting us a new coil, but they are on back order due to the pandemic and have no clue when one will be available- Freon apparently was a band aid to the problem. Which I'm thinking okay that's fine, put the Freon in and we will wait to hear on the coil. The bill was over $500 just for Freon and 30 mins of their time.

ONE WEEK LATER the unit is out again. When I call the repair man to ask what the deal is because he said it would last 6 months, he tells me his gauge that tests the unit just says if there is a leak or not- it does not tell him how significant the leak is. Wouldn't you think it is common decency to tell the customer that upfront? Then let them make the decision on their own to spend $500 for what could potentially be nothing? Well they did not, what they did was unethical and they also had not checked into an ETA for the new coil. We had a different company come out today, refilled the Freon for a fraction of $500 and will have a new part in and installed next Tuesday. Also, please wear a mask when you enter people's homes.

We had someone from Bienvenu come out to look at our A/C to see why it was covered in condensation and also why there was a smell coming from the ducts. A tech was here for approx 30 minutes to try and diagnose the problem. He ended up giving me a couple scenarios as to why we may have these problems then slapped me with a $175 bill. He also said we could get 5 different people to look at it and there could be 5 different opinions. I didn't expect him to come out for free but that price seems outrageous just to ""diagnose"" the problem. He didn't do anything to actually fix the problem. He said that was the minimum charge just to come to your house. I think they should tell you the price over the phone when scheduling so there are no surprises. We ended up having another company come today and they fixed the problem
in an hour. I would steer clear of this company, we literally put $175 in the garbage can.

They came out look at my situation, said he didn't have part with him to fix it. He told me to call his office and set up another appt and he'd get the parts. Then said I'd have to pay for 2 service calls. I paid for that waste of my time and called someone else!

This company is a total ripoff. It's a company that will rob you without a gun. They fixed a leaking shower head, a dripping faucet and a running toilet. The price for parts were $134.25 but wait for it! Here it come. The labor cost was $612.00 . I spoke with the owner because I thought this was an error, just to be informed that this bill was correct. Shame on you. Shame Shame Shame! I will not nor will I EVER recommend this company to anyone and I will testify of this horrible experience to everyone.

I had a clog that I didn't know about until water from a drain in my laundry room flooded my upstairs. These guys came out right away and got me back in business. Would definitely recommend!

I would not recommend unless you are desperate for a plumber. I have used this service three times - the first out of necessity, the second to finish the first job, and the third and final time recently. The first job was an emergency repair during off hours - I knew it would be more and was willing to accept that. However, there was no mention of what they charge extra in relation to what they normally charge. The plumber came over and did a temporary fix but said there was a part that he could not locate from his warehouse so he would have to order and wait. I found the part at Home Depot and called to schedule the finish of the repair. He came over and fixed everything. The charge was semi reasonable, however, I was charged for labor for a technician and an apprentice when all the apprentice did was stand over and hold a flashlight. Somewhat satisfied with the last repair, I decided to give them another shot. The plumber came over at 1:00 to do a simple fix that would normally take an hour (max) - a stem valve replacement in a faucet handle. While he was at the house he had a bucket full of tools, but didn't seem to know where any tool he needed was, constantly looking around. At one point I let him borrow one of my tools after about 5 minutes of him trying with the wrong tools. Next, he needed the right parts. I gave him one part I found online for about $15 but he said he needed the same part for the other handle to stop the leaking. Ok fine. An hour later he comes back from the warehouse with the part and proceeds to finish the job. In the meantime, while he is in the bathroom, he is constantly taking personal calls. I figure it must be important so I let it go. Once the job is finished, I get the bill - $380.00 including $60 something dollars for the part, the same part I was able to purchase for $15 online. He did take off 45 minutes for labor while going off to the warehouse, so the final bill was $290.00. Bottom line, I felt the labor charge was atrocious and felt like I should have been quoted for the part before it was purchased. I will not use them again.

Dave at Bienvenu Brothers went well above and beyond helping us with an on demand water heater that had to be replaced. He was conscientious, courteous, and very professional. He and I had several conversations about the issue and he kept me well informed about the process.
He was prompt and arrived as promised. Thanks Bienvenu! I'll be calling you again.

This plumber service is a ripe off- for a tank to bowl gasket and bolts to be replaced to a American Standard toilet they charged me $20.60 for parts and $202.75 for labor- what plumber out there makes 202.75 for a job like this-it took him roughly an hour . He's either really slow or he is seriously overpaid. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody unless of course you don't mind being taken to the cleaners.

Showed up promptly but be sitting down when they tell you what they charge. $500 for a video inspection with the included water jetting was a bit rich for me and that was just to diagnose the problem.

I had somewhat urgent plumbing needs. Spoke with someone who assured me if I was available any time that someone would be out the next day. I took the day off of work to meet them and got a call around midday asking me to be available the following day. As you know not everyone can be available at the drop of a hat to meet a repair person. They did, however, work with me to reschedule. Staff seemed exasperated when I asked them to bring all supplies with them to fix my problems, instead of requiring a follow up appointment to fix problems that might require a replacement of parts. I'd recommend getting a firm confirmation for services, otherwise you might find yourself frustrated and in the same position I was. Came highly recommended by friends, but so far I feel underwhelmed.
