Tsanko came on a Monday morning, did a thorough inspection and determined the boiler should be replaced. He was able to come back by noon with the new unit and started installing it! Great workmanship and everything works 100%. He provided detailed explanations and instructions on how to operate the unit and what to look out for. The charges were very reasonable. For sure will call him again for any plumbing issues. He does not work weekends, so you'll have to wait till the following Monday for him to come by, but I believe it's definitely worth the wait.

We just had a very good experience with BG Plumbing. The shower/tub valve was giving hot water only. We couldn't remove the valve and were told by another plumbing company the whole unit would have to be replaced. Tsanko came and was able to remove and replace the valve at a fraction of the cost quoted by the other company. He is very prompt,reasonable and knowledgable.m

I had a broken shower valve that was leaking water even with the water main shut off. The owner Tsanko picked up my call and squeeze in a same day appointment into his schedule. He assessed the situation and warned me that if the approach to remove the broken part in the valve didn't work, he'd have to open the wall to replace the entire valve. Setting my expectation was important. Luckily he was successful and was able to remove and replace the broken part. I was very fortunately he was willing to try to help save me both time and labor expense. I give BG Plumbing a 5 star rating for his professionalism, knowledge, and reasonable cost.

Tsanko is a true professional in many ways. When I first called, he focused on my issue at first to ensure he understood my problems. He treats you with respect throughout the entire process from phone call to job completion. He is happy to answers your questions. He explains things in detail so I understood. He told me he may need to pressurize the water line to drain it. I thought that was odd. Well he knows what he was talking about as he recognized a potential issue with my water softener system having high pipes and would contain some water even after gravity draining. He has to heat the copper pipe to remove the old faucet and of course the heat was drawing water and cooling the pipe enough to not allow the solder joint to dissolve for old faucet removal. So he brings out a portable unit to get the job done and yes, removed the old faucet just as he analyzed. His timeliness from my first call to actual work start and job completion is superb. He uses products that you would buy for yourself and nothing like the home builders choose. Tsanko replaced my two outdoor faucets with quarter turn ball valve ones. So much easier to turn and no more gaskets .. now that is thinking for the long term. He noticed an issue with our water heater water line not having a valve and explained why it should and answered all my questions again. Of course he added one of quality and ease to use. He works very efficiently and takes care of you throughout the process. His prices are very good and when you add in his professionalism, knowledge, and quality ... would say that is a hard combination to beat ... awesome value indeed! I finally know a Fremont plumber that I will call without hesitation. Thank you Tsanko!

I called BG plumbing to have a gas hookup for my dryer installed, Tsanko
Came out punctually and surveyed the site for hookup. After checking out my existing gas pipe, he explained that I couldn't hook up to my pool gas line because it was too large and my piping for my water heater and stove and furnace plus pool heater basically maxed out my meter and existing line and if he did connect to this, the dryer and other appliances would not work well if they were all running at one time. He also said that the cost of running a line would be less economical than using an electric dryer. I really appreciate the honesty, as he could just have given me a price and done the job leaving me to find the problem later. He also recommended calling pg&e to get a larger meter installed. I will call him for any plumbing jobs that I need. I can understand the five star ratings in his yelp.
