I contacted S&D Plumbing having received high praise on their service from friends in Round Rock. On the day of the appointment, the S&D plumber, Zen Gonzales, was promptly on time and proved to be a very courteous, personable and capable plumber.

We looked at the issues in the master bathroom with a clogged sink that had proven itself resistant to my best efforts to unplug it myself, and the other sink whose water flow was incredibly minuscule.

Zen looked at all the potential reasons inside and outside the house that might have created the problems noted above and then proceeded to unplug the one sink and improve the water flow in the other.

The work was done professionally to my total satisfaction. I also decided to join S&D Plumbing's yearly service program based on my satisfaction with my S&D Plumbing experience.

The scoring has absolutely NOTHING to do with the service technician. He was very nice & did a good job... this rating is for the COMPANY!
Don't let them fool you, S & D Plumbing is not a local company that value their customers. They are out to take advantage of people. First, I had a very simple kitchen faucet change out. I purchased the new faucet, which was just like the old faucet, and had the water shut off. I just was too busy with 4 kids to do it myself. S & D said they didn't give estimates over the phone, but could send a technician out same day to look at it. Even though I knew exactly what needed to be done, they charge a $75 fee just to have someone give a quote. Then it was $551 to install the faucet. BEYOND EXPENSIVE!! I needed it done to wash baby bottles and I feel like they completely took advantage of me. Way way over priced and they should be ashamed of themselves charging this kind of money, for a simple fix. It wasn't like they fixed anything or even supplied any materials, they simply changed the faucet!

S&D Plumbing wouldn't come over before charging my Visa card $2600. I had an emergency water leak (700/gallons a day) so I agreed to the advanced charge.. Two days later, they sent over an inexperienced tech who after 4.5 hours couldn't find the leak and ripped up my driveway (which I now have to repair)."American Leak Detection" stepped in, found the leak within a half hour, (which was nowhere in the vicinity of where S&D Plumbing had been digging). Stay away from S&D plumbing at all costs.

We had a service call for a couple of leaking faucets. Jorge came out and he was friendly, courteous, professional and explained all repairs to us as he discovered the causes. He gave us costs before proceeding. In these times of shortages of services, our experience was seamless from start to finish.
I booked online and received an email as well as text confirmation of date & time. I was able to upload photos so they were able to come prepared. Jorge called when he was on his way so we knew exactly when to expect him. This is our 3rd excellent experience with S & D and I would highly recommend.

We scheduled an appointment with S&D two weeks ago, and we continue to get calls on the day of service stating they have to reschedule. We're on our third last-minute reschedule and have been given no apologies. I wish I had done a bit more research on reviews prior to booking with them. Customer service is lacking here.

Unless you have money to just give away, don't call this one. In June 2020 I was remodeling a small 2 bdrm condo of mine. They rolled up at the end of the day in a huge RV repair truck, one guy in it and gave me a $450 estimate to replace 2 outdoor hose bibs and to screw in one tub drain piece with no guaranty that they might charge more. I was so shocked, I was speechless.

I am very disappointed with the service I received. I had a leaking pipe fixed and a washer installed. The tech didn't seem to know what he was doing and when it came to installing the washer my husband had to help him get it in the house and unpack it. Then he installed it without taking off the shipping rods. He ran a cycle and even though it was loud he said it was all good and left. We went to use the washer and it was incredibly loud and bouncing across the room. So then my husband and I spent the better half of our Saturday morning trying to figure out what was wrong to realize that is wasn't installed correctly. There were also extra parts that were supposed to be attached to the back that were just laying out. He clearly had no idea what they were or where they were supposed to go. I called to have a new tech come out and correct the installation and that I also wanted to have a manager call me to talk about this because the most basic part of their job should be knowing how to install a washing machine. The new tech came out and the installation instructions were provided to him and he also was surprised that there support rods from shipping though I know those are not a strange or new thing. After all of this, I have not gotten any calls from the manager over this. I will never be recommending or using this company again. Extremely disappointed. Also, like the other post here very expensive. $200 to install the washer when I ended up doing more research on how it should have been installed then they did.

UPDATE: was able to get a hold of the manager and was refunded for the washer install.

On Monday 11/25 I made an appointment for a toilet replacement. I was given a 4 hour window, with the plumber arriving between 10:00-2:00 the following Friday. At 1:45, a mere 15 minutes before the end of that window, I received a call saying that the plumber would be busy the rest of the day but they could offer me an appointment on Monday. I wasted a good chunk of my day waiting for a no-show...he was probably Black Friday shopping! Declined the future appointment, I'll call someone else who will actually show up, or at least have the decency not to leave me hanging for more than 3 hours.
