Company Overview

Beyer Boys Air Conditioning & Heating is a family-run HVAC business delivering trusted solutions to homeowners in San Antonio. Operating since 1990, we have dominated the regional home services industry. The Better Business Bureau has awarded us an A+ rating, and homeowners on Angi agree that we are a leading choice. Licensing #A13624E.

In the years since, Perry Jr., Pat, and Jeff have prospered in two family-run businesses: Beyer Mechanical and Beyer Plumbing. The emphasis of our company is nurturing relationships, treating our clients like family, and making every effort to provide exceptional customer service. These are the principles the Beyers were raised with: trust, integrity, and meaningful relationships.

Perry, Pat, and Jeff bring decades of expertise in the field before launching Beyer Boys. Perry has a background in plumbing, while Jeff focused on HVAC contracting, which involves installing air conditioning and heating systems. Pat has developed experience on both sides of the business.

To adapt with the changing times, the brothers have adapted with the industry, focusing on concerns like air quality and faster response times. They stay updated about the latest technology, and their technicians are trained in cutting-edge advancements in the field. They ensure their work and always focus on customer satisfaction.

Absolute garbage, paid over $7,000.00 for a small 2 1/2 Lenox system. They not only threw away a brand new Honeywell smart Alexa thermostat $140 out the door thanks for that but the system they replaced had a 4 inch thick hepa filter with a garbage 1 in filter that is so small even home depot doesn't sell that oddball size. They took clear advantage of an 84 year old woman.

I do not recommend Beyer Boys for repair services. We had a problem with our water heater. The technician Jerry said we needed a new part and he would return between 9am-10am the next morning. He called at noon the next day and said he's running late. The next call was 5:30 pm and he stated he couldn't get the part because the store is closed. He took the part so we couldn't get someone else to repair. They tried to push the repair till Monday. We refused and demanded it to be done Saturday. Horrible communication and customer service!!! Clearly do not care about the customer.

Timely, professional service. They came, fixed a leaky pipe above my water heater, And did a good job. Problem? it took them about 45 minutes at best. The charge was $350! no parts, just labor for leaky connection. that's $350+/hour. Who makes that much money (even with company overhead)! you know they know they are getting over because the invoice doesn't break out labor or parts, its just one fee for job.

i could have probably. Fixed myself but gas/electricity make me nervous. Thats how easy the job was.

Sadly, it would have been just as bad most any company u call. They force a buy-in with trip/service fee of $50+ and at that point you either agree to estimate or lose your $50 and pay another $50 for the next guy.

Guess ill get a home warranty, the companies are less responsive but i know what it'll cost.

While they were able to send someone out the same day, the technician was not sure what the problem was and was going to leave until we started asking more questions, which prompted him to check the motor and discover it wasn't working. He said they would order the part and come the next day (Thursday)... by Friday afternoon, I hadn't heard anything so I called back and was told that the part had to be ordered outside of San Antonio and would not be in until at least Tuesday. I understand this; however, I believe I should have been called with an update and that it shouldn't have fallen on me to call back... very poor service, especially when someone's air conditioner is not working.

Arrived on time, and suggested an alternate repair that saved me money in the long run.

They were awesome!! They came the same day I called and fixed one of our units within an hour - it was Saturday! They had a team out first thing Monday to repair the second unit. All of this after the first company I called said we needed an entire new unit for $8500 which would have only fixed half our problem. Thank you for being honest and ethical! I will never call anyone else!!

I had the Beyer Boys out to take a look at an air conditioner that has some issues, and they were quite proficient at getting everything taken care of.
The serviceman was punctual, and did a quite thorough job of checking out the a/c systems, making appropriate recommendations for future reference and maintenance. I was impressed at how much our serviceman knew about a/c systems.
Their communication skills need some help- it was confusing getting hold of the right person on the phone, and abrupt transfers on the phone made it difficult to keep track of whom I was speaking with or why.
I wish that they could have done a bit better job of documenting their work. I got walked through what they did, but have yet to get any documentation about it.
