Ernesto was the technician that came out to see about my tenants heater. The company responded right away to my call and came on time. Ernesto was professional, polite and personable. He did a thorough examination of the unit and got it up and running. I had called in Beutler after getting an outrageous quote from Service First- never use Service First they are crooks! I would recommend Beutler to anyone. I will never use another company.

Today Beutler technician, Joe, came to my home to maintain my furnace. He was courteous, was not condescending, or patronizing. It took about 30 minutes total. I had a $10.00 coupon from Home Depot and the total was $79.00. When I replace my furnace I will definately be calling Beutler because of Joe.

Just short of a scam if not a scam!
I met the sales person at Home Depot, which made me feel safe about them. Not anymore. Will not trust not even Home Dept.
For $45 they promised to do ""maintenance and tune up"". I agreed since my heater is 18 years old, running perfectly fine though.
The technician showed up, asked few questions then went up to the attic. I stayed by his side all the time. He opened the covers and taped the safety switch - more on this later, then unplugged two connectors and took two measurements with his voltmeter. He put the covers back and said ""The capacitor, $200, and the igniter, $300, are close to dying and you should replace them. I said Ok, but what about the maintenance and tune up you said you will do? and he said, this is the maintenance. We check it for you and tell you if you need to replace anything!! That's not what I was told! They talked about cleaning and lubricating and tune up!!!
Now to the better part ... I noticed the technician put the covers back without removing the tape that is holding the safety switch. I asked how come and he said ""that's okay, anyhow no one is supposed to come up here and open this unit"". I said ""yeah, but what if? that's why they hae a safety switch!!"". I insisted he reopen the covers and remove the tape. Really Beutler? Really Home Dept?
He wrote me a quote of $500 to replace the parts. Needless to say I will never ever use Beutler. If they tricked their way into my home, I can't trust them to do any honest work.
I checked online for the price of the capacitor (15uf, 370v motor run capacitor). It is between $6 and $15. An electrician can replace it with zero effort and skill. They quoted me $200!!!!

I got a water heater from Home Depot and asked for installation and Beutler Co. Rep. came and their price is outrage these people bunch of scam artists pray on people when they are desperate , charging $1600.00 just to install a water heater and when i asked them how many hours it takes the rep. said 3 hours and i asked how much is the charge per hour he mentioned we charge per job not hour , 1600.00 for 3 hr job , a Doctor office visit is the most 300.00 a lawyer charge 350.00/hr . don't trust this people and i don't know if Home Depot know these Co. is ripping people off.

Ive tried setting up an appointment 3 times - so far, had 3 no shows, not even a cancellation call. waited on the appointed time frame no one showed up. called asking whether i should keep waiting, operator said she'll have a technician call me.. again waited, no call... dont even deserve 1 star

One of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. No regard for customer service, and they are completely incapable of meeting their own guarantees. It's been one year since I've had a new system installed, and so far I've experienced numerous lies by management, and a continuous runaround concerning service calls. The system they installed fails to properly operate, and when I call for their emergency services, it takes longer that 24 hours for them to respond (their promise is to respond within 24 hours//not true!) I highly recommend avoiding this company. They are unprofessional, they are incompetent, and they will definitely lie about the services they offer.

I knew I needed to update the system and they were at Home Depot while I passed through. They were the lowest of three quotes but I'm convinced that I could have found it lower; nonetheless, it was price reasonable. Joe the salesman was thorough and presented various units to fit my needs, available rebates, potential savings from doing some things myself, as well as how to pay.
The HVAC installation technicians deserve five stars on their own! My furnace was from the time of ""bigger is better"" and they were up there for 12 hours at least. They ran new vents, set the new cooling tower base, and provided a repairman to fix the scratches and openings they made to get the old unit out.
It's been working well, one tech came to double check their work, and still waiting on the state inspector. It heats the house well and they found the ""cold spots"". We will see on the reliability but I'm optimistic.

Had Beutlers 2 yr home service plan, for a furnace & air conditioning service once a year. The 1st year I never used the service, nor did I get a call to schedule one. I never wanted this plan, but it was given to me instead of a refund to which I was overcharged. I requested a refund, but their excuse was they don't refund credit cards, so I will get their service plan instead. Decided to use it in 2nd year, since I paid for it. I did get a furnace service done, then I scheduled an air conditioner service in April. The day before the service, they canceled due to cooler outside temps. They said need a hot day to get proper readings for air service. They said next available appointment is in September, 5 months away, and they will call me if a sooner appt became available, but that call never came. Then the day before the Sept. appt, thay called to cancel due to emergency calls & rescheduled me for October, a month away. I was told once again that if an appt came open, they would call. But that call also never came. The day before the Oct. appt, they called to cancel due to emergency calls again, & said they are booked for whole month. That means November. Now November is not known for hot days, the reason they canceled back in April because it was a cooler day. This is ridiculous. This is the run around I get for purchasing a new furnace & air conditioner from them for $13,800.00 over 2 years ago. I sure got plenty of voicemails for months, before the service plan expired. They wanted to know if I will renew it. No, I am done. Next spring I will pay for another company to service my air conditioner, possibly Gilmore, Sierra Pacific, or Bell Bros. I regret doing business with Beutler, don't like their tactics or customer service.

I have the service plan and lost power to my unit (3.5 years old) for the second time this year. I called after hours that we need to have some come out and look at this. We had tried flipping the breaker, which was the issue last time. I received a call this morning and told it would over a week before they could come. I do not have any power to my system and they are saying over a week to come out. Really????
I am sure it will be like last time, where we flipped the breaker like 10 times and then service guy flipped it three and it turns on for him.

Extremely disappointed. We had a new AC and heater installed one week ago. Today the nest thermostat showed an error message. We were told by the salesman that this company is so great that if anything is to happen with the unit to call them and someone would respond anytime, they are there 24 hours. I called at 9 pm, no one was waiting by the phone except an answering service. I explained to her our emergency with the error message on the nest thermostat. I also explained that an inspection was scheduled for tomorrow at 11 am, and also that we would be leaving on Tuesday for one week. At 10 pm I realized that the salesmen at Beutler were just giving me a sales pitch about calling anytime . We should have checked the reviews before trusting this company.
