I called Better Home Plumbing Services a couple days before Christmas to help install a new refrigerator line shut off valve. Yaro dropped by the same-day to assess the job and returned the following morning with a helper to have the job completed. He was respectful of my time and arrived within the provided 1 hour window on both days. He quoted fair rates and he was also more than tolerant/accommodating of my curious young children looking over his shoulder.

I will definitely be using Yaro for any and all future plumbing needs.

I requested an emergency repair of a gas line to my house where the emergency shutoff valve was leaking and PGE shut off my gas until i got it fixed. No heat in my house, or hot water or ability to cook. Yaro came right out, assessed the issue, ran back out to get the parts and fixed it all within a few hours with no issues. I am extremely grateful to them, thanks for you help!

We had a leak in the garbage disposal discharge where it connected the copper in the wall behind the cabinet. Yaro came the day after I called. He gave me a couple options to repair, completed the work in a timely and professional manner and for a fair price which we agreed to up front. He also fixed a couple items that were not part of the scope and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was complete. I would recommend him highly!

Wow! I am so grateful for Yaro. After a cold shower, I realized my new hot water heater wasn't working. I tried getting the pilot light to turn on but it wouldn't work despite all my efforts at researching on YouTube. I called Yaro after seeing all his 5 star reviews - he picked up the phone immediately, was very polite, told me he would show up within 1 hour, and he indeed showed up at 2 minutes early! Within minutes, he figured out what was wrong and turned on the hot water heater. He absolutely could have charged me to come by but how gracious he was - he didn't. Yaro at Better Home Plumbing is my go-to plumber!

I first reached out to him when an anti siphon valve in my backyard was leaking. Yaro replaced the old valve promptly and reliably.

I later reached out to Yaro to repair and reconnect some gas pipes after PG&E did some emergency disconnects for a gas leak. Yaro did proper testing and discovered that reconnecting the pipes to the very old gas-powered swimming pool heater would cause more leaks due to wear on the old pipes that were underground. He outlined some options for me (including replacing the old pipes), and I was able to choose the lower cost option of leaving those pipes disconnected. (I primarily depend on pool solar for heating the swimming pool.)

Since then, Yaro has continued to reliably address my plumbing needs like installing a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal.
