I had a great experience working with both Poli and Yaro in terms of installing the reverse osmosis system. Once I sent the request, Poli responded within an hour and gave me very competitive rates. I was able to schedule an appointment with Yaro right after the product got delivered. Yaro came on time and installed the system carefully. The work was done fast and well! He made sure everything was working fine before he left. I would definitely use them again if I have any plumbing issues.

Yaro did a great job rapidly replacing our power vent water heater located on our second floor balcony after our old one started leaking.

I asked for quotes from several companies via Yelp on Saturday, January 2nd, and Poli from Better Home Construction Services responded very quickly with questions and a quote. They were very cost competitive, provided a same day free consultation on January 2nd, and able to complete the install first thing Monday morning, January 4th. Due to specialness of the power vent water heater, no other company was able to come out before Monday either, as the warehouses stocking them weren't open on weekends. Poli was very communicative during the process.

Yaro came in on Saturday and quickly evaluated the job, confirming the quote I was provided by Poli. He then showed up 30 min early to our appointment first thing Monday morning and had the installation of our new water heater complete in 2 hours & 45 min. This included removing the old water heater for disposal, and bringing it down the stairs by himself. He was very professional and efficient with good quality work. He also kept his mask on at all times for COVID-19 precautions. Highly recommend this company for water heater installation!

Better home construction services team is one of the best contractors I have ever hired. I initially contacted them for running a new gas line to kitchen, but then had them help me with my other projects as well. Yaro always did things in right way, even if it means spending lot more time in getting things done. He is someone who doesn't settle with anything less than perfect. Poli has been very helpful in coordinating schedules, getting permit and staying on top of things.

Better Home Construction Services is solutions-oriented and not overpriced--WIN!

I recently had my kitchen remodeled, and my installer only does cabinets and countertops (READ: not plumbing). Of course I needed my fixtures installed to make the kitchen operational. Construction wrapped the day before Thanksgiving, and so I was on the hunt to find a plumber who would come out on Black Friday.

I put in a request on Black Friday at 8:28 am, and Poli (Polly) from Better Home gave me a call by 9:30am to check if I still needed the services and which services I needed. She promised a technician by 10-10:30, if I wanted. We settled on a time (11-11:30) as well as the services: a quotation for and possible installation of faucet, dishwasher, garbage disposal and a new shower head.

Yaro, her husband, came at the indicated time, did an assessment, and provided a quote of $700, which was midrange for the quotes I had received. Notably, this guy was there on Black Friday in two hours notice, so I thought that was pretty swell.

Almost immediately, he realized I needed to get an air switch installation kit for the garbage disposal and a new plumbing stopper. I ran to get the air switch, and he had an extra stopper on hand (extra $100).

Two hours later, he had the kitchen done as well as adjustments on my master shower. He tidied everything up and charged $800. Then, I mentioned some other services needed - installing ceiling lights. He gave me a quote of $160/light including hardware and installation. He said he does a lot of different types of jobs.

Again, I recommend this group for their sense of urgency, problem solving, and reasonable prices!

We are so grateful and thankful to have Yaro fixed our water heater water leaking emergency issue.

Our water heater was leaking almost midnight, we got panic and called around but only this company replied that they are able to come immediately first thing in the early morning.

Yaro arrived early right on time, looked at the issue and able to provide immediate solution. He went off to buy all of the materials and came back on time to fix it.

The beautiful craftsmanship, attention to details, excellent technical knowledge and skills turned this nightmare into a beautiful clean art work. He went beyond by improving our safety and health of detecting and fixing the improper setup of the ventilation which the CO trapped in the garage all these times. Now we really feel the air is much more clean, crisp and easy to breath!

We will definitely keep Yaro for future craftsmanship and strongly recommend to anyone who needs his trust worthy services.

The project: The kitchen sink was sagging because the silicone lining was old. There was a lot of water leakage under the sink.

The good:
- Arrived during the time window to inspect and provided a quote
- Worked around my schedule when we decided to go ahead with the project
- Arrived on time for the actual work and finished it under 2 hours
- Quality work
- Always wore a mask
- Explained the problem and how he is going to fix it.

The bad:
- I think the quote was a little higher than the other plumbers. But I decided to go ahead anyway because he was the only one who was able to explain it well and work with my schedule.

Yaro came out and fixed our leak in minutes. Because it was a simpler fix he refused to take payment. He did make a recommendation for a replacement given the age of the equipment I'm using and he quoted a very reasonable price. However, I've decided to wait at this point given that there is no acute problem. If the problem returns I will definitely be giving Yaro a call. 5* for professionalism, friendliness and amazing value. Thanks so much, Yaro!
