I tried installing a washer drain pan myself and ran into an issue. I called Better B Plumbing and explained the problem. They offered to come out and install it but noted that I was just one step off. Instead of charging me for a job that was already 95% done, they just told me how to fix it. They said that if I had any other questions to just call them back. They were willing to come out if I still wanted but really tried to look out for their customers.

My garbage disposal broke so I called Better B for an estimate and they showed up at my door soon afterwards ready to do the work. Brandon, Jason, and Tommy are a godsend! They fixed my laundry machine drain pipe problem within a couple hours and saved me a lot of money compared to the first plumbing company I had reached out to.

*The Problem:* After running a load of laundry there was puddles of water scattered around the garage floor, but it was unclear where the leak was coming from because there was no clear stream leading back to the washing machine. It looked like it was coming from the walls.

I had originally called 5Star Plumbing to check out the issue and even paid their $150 service fee to go underneath the house to troubleshoot. The plumber said the ground underneath the house was damp and my pipes leaking in several places. He said the fix would be to replace 5 foot of drainage pipe from the laundry machine to the main line drain; all underneath the house. He also said my kitchen sink drain pipe was leaking and would eventually need to be replaced. Total quote for both was several thousand dollars! And BTW he did not provide any pictures/proof of what he said he saw. Everything was based on his word.

I was in disbelief by the sheer high price of the quote so I spoke with my trusted neighbor who highly recommended Brandon for a second opinion. When Brandon and his crew came over, they immediately said what the other plumber had concluded sounded peculiar. When they went underneath the house they took videos and photos which didn't show anything the 5Star plumber had claimed. The videos showed the ground beneath the house completely dry! This makes me FURIOUS and I can confidently say that I will never be calling 5Star back.

*The Fix:* Instead of replacing any of the pipes below the house, Brandon recommended a simple snake through the pipes to clear the debris clogged inside, as well as changing the J-pipe behind the laundry machine to a dual clean-out and J-pipe drain. Total cost for the snake and replacement was a fraction of the cost that 5Star had quoted. It infuriates me that they had proposed a 5 foot pipe replacement that was completely unnecessary!

*Conclusion:* Call Better B Plumbing if you value an honest evaluation and reasonable pricing. In the end you have the choice of who you hire, but you should never have to feel like you are being hustled with questionable troubleshooting and ridiculously expensive quotes. With Better B Plumbing I felt confident in the evaluation and the reasonable quote they provided, as well as ultimately the service they completed to fix my problem. Highly recommended!

Brandon spent the better part of a Saturday figuring out a tricky clog in our old home's pipes. We called Saturday morning and were grateful when he arrived just a few hours later. He tried several different approaches and really thought outside of the box to help us avoid replacing our old sewer line. He was professional and explained the whole process and tried to diagnose the root of the problem. And when all was said and done his fee was very reasonable for spending several hours with us on a Saturday afternoon. He really went above and beyond, would highly recommend!

After a failed attempt with another company to fix my plumbing concerns two weeks earlier, I contacted Better ""B"" Plumbing. Brandon came out, explained specifically what the issue was and fixed it. This was seven months ago.

They came out right away and fixed the clog in my faucet. Something happened to the dishwasher possibly related and they came right back and fixed that too. Great work, for a great price .
