I really can't recommend them. I dropped a request for proposal off at the office 11/3 but the secretaries acted like I was interrupting their social media time. It was a simple request for a shut off valve replacement for 4 units in my residential condo building. First the secretaries sent back an email 11/4 and told me she had relayed my request to a tech and that they decided I needed to get an excavator. Thinking she had me confused with someone else I reiterated the simple request. I now think she is clueless. In the end I guess the job is too small, although there are 88 units here that would likely follow my lead to do this upgrade. Sadly it took 6 days to be told to take my business elsewhere and only when I kept pushing for at least some kind of answer. Thank goodness it wasn't an emergency.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Best Plumbing in New Albany!!! I had an issue with water and shut off valves. James Ortman was so professional and helpful. He made what started out as a horrible (wet) morning and very pleasant experience. I will never use a different company. Thank you!!!!

They did all the plumbing in our house. Standard stuff...what's superior is their Service. Mark, the service Manager is the best out there. He really knows his stuff and if you have an issue, he'll resolve it quicker than anybody. The man is a plumbing Genius!

Mark was able to come out to our home within 48 hours to replace our leaking hot water heater. Since our water heater is on the second story, he also installed a drip pan underneath the new water heater so that if it ever does leak, it will not ruin our first floor ceiling. Mark was very nice and professional and got the job done at a very reasonable price. Thanks Mark!

I think not ""best"" at all. They installed a toilet fill valve assembly which failed in 8 months. When they returned to look at the leaking toilet, they said they only back their work for 30 days.

Buyers beware. You can find plumbers who back their work for longer.

I called Best because they did the original plumbing work on my house when it was built, and I had a pipe-bursting emergency to deal with. The guy who came out, Dennis, was very nice and knowledgeable. Once he had the right tools (he had to break down into my house's slab to get to the bottom of the pipe break) he was able to fix the issue in 20 minutes. Even with a Sunday emergency call, the price was very affordable.

I'd have given 5 stars but the office he worked out of had broken equipment and so the tools he needed weren't available. I'd like to see the company verify their equipment so techs aren't left without the things they need to get jobs done.

When I was in Johnstown a few months ago for a wedding, there was a ""plumbing emergency"" at our family friends' house. They were so busy with the event planning that I took it upon myself to call in some help. Jim and Sherri at Best Plumbing sent over a team to get our pipes cleared before the problems ""overflowed"" into the rest of the weekend plans. We appreciated their expertise and reasonable pricing, as well as their willingness to come over and get things done at somewhat odd hours. Thank you!

These guys are great to work with.... I live out of town and have a rental property that has needed a few plumbing related service calls. They have come out the same day both times and fixed with was needed and billed a fair price. They are honest and super responsive. I would highly recommend them.
