I really thought this company was going to be great.. they fought to be able to provide us with a new AC unit. The first price they gave us was outrageous, we obtained some quotes from other companies and Best Home Services we able to then beat those prices. We signed a contract and the guys installed it within a few days of meeting the sales rep. That being said... The sales rep told us we could have a new thermostat (of our choosing) put in instead of the factory one. The installers came out and were scared to put it in, so they said I would have to call and have it installed seperately. I called made an appointment- the installers never showed up... called made a second appointment- the installers didnt show up AGAIN. I made a 3rd appointment for between 4-6pm, the installers showed up to my home when no one was there at 11am!! Today was supposed to be my 4th appointment time, I was reassured over and over they would be here today between 11am - 1pm. Its 1:02pm and after calling twice there's still NO ONE here!! Talk about frustrating. Also, upon initial installament they ripped out some drywall to 'fit' the new unit and then didnt do anything to fix the drywall and wood they removed. Ive left messages to have managers call me back, maybe this Yelp review will inspire them to correct these issues before I decide to get my money back with my credit card company.

Best Home Services is the best! I called this morning and an electrician came out same day. I am in the process of selling my house and wanted to make sure all up to code. I ended up needing two gfi plugs and a new dimmer. Daniel Johnson went around my entire home to see what may not pass inspection. He did find 1 small thing and corrected for us. He went above and beyond and you can tell that he loves his job and proud of the company he works for. HIRE THIS COMPANY and ask for Daniel, you will not regret it!!! I am not related to anyone at this company nor did they give me anything free, just thought I should state that!

Drew was extremely helpful and so thorough when working at my parent's house. The entire time he explained what he was doing. Even with their crazy questions, he was still so nice. I will definitely request him for all of our heating and cooking needs.

No stars would be accurate. Do NOT call these people for service on your home. If you value your home, quality, honesty and your wallet, again- Do NOT call! I'm still in the process of trying to resolve a terribly botched AC install. I've asked them to get the inspection done, but they are dragging their feet. Yes, I initially asked for a late inspection date because they were trying to bully me into also buying a new electrical panel from them. NO. So I requested the inspection moved up because the install is not the correct equipment nor installed correctly. It is downright dangerous. BUT they still want their money!!! For a equipment we didn't sign anything for and installed wrong. After the fact that their tech was the reason our AC was damaged beyond repair in the first place! Worst experience in the 16 years of living in my home. Do NOT call!!!

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD! DO NCalled these guys to drill and feed an electric line through the side of my house. They quoted me for an outside outlet over 2K. They charged me $132 for a drilled hole to fish through the electric cord. They even wanted $19 just for a estimate of work! Not happy with work, so we called to speak with the manager and we still have not heard back from them. They obviously do not care about new customers or doing the right thing. It's a shame because I rather support mom and pop shops than chain stores. Do not use! New update: I apologize for not getting back in a timely manner. I talked to the new management at Best Home Services and they explained why the service wasn't up to par. I understood and accepted the apology. Additionally they refunded my money and I think that they have solidified their electrical department with an emphasis on customer service. These things happen and very few companies reach out in order to get customer feedback. For example:try getting your cable company to ask your feedback on how your internet is working. I'm supposed to get 300mbps and never come close. Management from my cable provider never contact me! I will continue to utilize Best Home Services. I know that the service I receive will be excellent or the company will make it right.

Our half bathroom toilet flooded and Best home services came out right away. The initial recommendation was a clean only which was $400, a clean and a root treatment which was $800, or both of the above plus check with a camera to see what was wrong which was $1200. The technician specifically told me don't worry about the camera option because he pulled a bunch of roots out and now the line is clear and just do the root treatment which was good for a year. I asked the tech, """"if there are roots in the line doesn't that mean that the pipe is broken?"""" His answer was no that roots can grow through fittings. Hhhhmmm crazy you may think right... we did too but took his word and paid the $800. A week goes by and toilet floods again. Same tech comes out and checks the line and says it's clear and doesn't know what's wrong (no charge). Week later on Christmas Day toilet over flows again. This time they want $120 non refundable for a holiday call out. Which I ask why am I being charged $120 when it's the same problem that should've been fixed the first time around. But the scheduling people said they don't have the authority to wave the fee and all supervisors are on vacation for the holiday. Next day we call again. Same tech now comes out to run a camera and says oh the pipe is broken. Charges us $800 yet again to clear and leaves us with a $9000 estimate to run a new line which is only 6' long. We make the appointment for three or four days out in hopes to get other quotes. Only way to hold the appointment was to take a refundable down payment of $4000. Guess what, we found another company to do the work for $2000. Not only that but other company's were only charging $2000-$3500. So no brainer we will cancel the appointment with best home services. The appointment was for a Monday and we canceled on the Saturday prior. Here's the catch, the only people who answer the phone don't have the authority to refund the charges. Only their supervisors do. So an email was sent out and we were told someone would contact us within 48hrs. 72 hours later no one has reached out and I call back. Still no available supervisor to talk to over the phone and now another message was sent out for someone to contact me within 24hrs. No that's ok. I'm disputing the charges and getting new cards. IF I COULD GIVE THESE PEOPLE NO STARS AS A RATING I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!!!!!

So I hired Best Home AC to replace the main AC to my home on November 1st after my existing system basically died on Halloween. I decided to spend on the significantly expensive 16 SEER system from Carrier. Great unit, NOT great service. First of all, even though they installed the unit in one day, it took Best Home three days to get the AC actually working. That's right, 3 days without AC (4 if you count the day my old system stopped working)! After they finally got it running, I sent them a punch list of items to resolve. So today is February 11th - 3.5 months later - and the list is still not resolved! Currently, when the fan is going full speed, the ceiling vibrates (the AHU is in the attic) and rattles my chandelier. The worst thing is they installed a new AHU without a slot for the air filter even though they promised to maintain all the functionality of my previous system. Therefore, the only way I can keep my home HVAC filtered is to go around the house with a ladder and install a filter at 5 different return grilles in my 10' ceilings throughout my home. Every time I have contacted them, they say someone will call me and I don't hear back. They will eventually send a tech - I have seen at least 6 different techs - to """"address"""" an item And leave without resolution. Long story short - buyer beware. Do not make final payment until all items are resolved and do NOT sign up for their financing plan since they get paid everything up front and you are left owing a separate credit card company for the full amount with no recourse.

BEWARE this company. We had a service contract with Best Home Services and they came to see why one of our AC units wasn't working. While they fixed the loose wire issue, they convinced my wife we needed to get our air ducts cleaned and UV lights installed (house only 6 years old) and had to get rid of the mold """"ASAP"""" since it was dangerous to have in the system. They told her they needed her visa before they came and told her it would be a $1000 charge. There was no invoice or receipt left behind. When I called them to ask them for a copy of the invoice (which they emailed me) I then saw that they had charged the visa over $11,000 (prior to doing anything).I called my home insurance to see if the mold removal was covered and when they sent a mold inspection came out, they told me they did not even see any mold. I had my bank reverse the charge and cancelled their appointed time to come out to clean the ducts. This is a highly questionable outfit. Do not get ripped off by them. P.S. I called a reputable company to come out and they gave me a quote for $4,500, including Trane (high end and more expensive than the average) UV lights for all 4 of my systems P.S.S. I also used Best for an electrical issue. I had an installation of two surge protectors and they fixed an issue with my breakers and they significantly over charged me (over $2,000). After a week of calling the electrical manager, who was worthless when I finally got him on my 4th call in a week, I Finally got some resolution with the GM who agreed I had been overcharged on both issues and was going to talk to his service guys who were out to the house. The general manager was at least reasonable and reimbursed me for more than the difference between what an ethical electrical would have charged (based on my calling another company for a quote). It was 60 pct less than Best charged me. Be careful of these guys because they will take you for a ride and charge whatever they can get an unsuspecting homeowner for. I will not even use them for the remainder of the service contract I have prepaid. They won't be in my home again! Buyer beware.

Best came out promptly and profienctly corrected the issue on my AC. Prices were extremely fair , the technician who came out, Drew, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful (he has corny jokes though) Definitely will have repeat business

All I needed was to install a switch, I could do it myself, but every one of them wanted to come out and give an estimate. Like I said before, I could do it myself except the damn government said I have to get an electrician to do it. They all wanted to know everything about me, but would not tell me their hourly rate or what their usual price is for the job is. I will never use Yelps services again.
