They are good; expensive; have had them do $50,000+ of work last year; however they refuse to provide an invoice itemizing a $20,000 AC unit into 3 pieces -- air handler; condenser; and installation -- as required by my flood insurance company so the entire claim amount was rejected as the air handler was not covered. Absolutely infuriating!! I will be looking elsewhere.

Company made promises of ten specific guarantees. It has been difficult to get the company to stand by them all. We were promised in the beginning that if the system failed or broke during the first year that they would be there within 24 hours or pay us $500 for our inconvenience. They finally ponied up the $500 because the technician did not show up within the 24 hour period. We have watched the kilowatt usage over the last eleven months to evaluate whether they would be able to satisfy their """"Utility Savings Guarantee"""". They promised, and I quote, """"Best guarantees that you will save a minimum of 30% on your heating and cooling costs or we will refund double-the-difference of your potential savings not realized in the first year."""" The system actually used MORE electricity than the old system. We were not even looking at the COST in dollars. We were measuring the difference in KILOWATTS. They argued back that the electric company had price adjustments. They refused to accept responsibility for the failure of their system to reduce my electricity costs (base costs with out the adjustment) by 30%. I do not recommend anyone use this company as a source of their new AC units. Their first action to resolve anything is to shorten their list of guarantees to something they can actually stand behind. Then they should make amends to their customers who have shown their failure to deliver on their promises.

Flooded our home and won't repair the damage! They are a horrible company! Trying to get in touch with anyone is impossible! Would never recommend them to anyone!!!!!

I needed some electrical problems looked at, made and appointment but it wasn't for over a week but since Hurricane Ian everything takes longer. The day before they tried to cancel and reschedule for 10 more days later. They did """"accommodate"""" me and came 2 days late after I requested to speak to a manager 3x. They said I needed to replace my electrical panel to the tune of over $7000 , my mistake not getting a second opinion. It took 3 visits to complete the service and on the second and third one they were supposed to do another small job for me and it didn't get done. I bought into there service plan and took them up on my free ac cleaning. My 87 year old mother was home , she calls me at work very upset saying we need a new $11000 ac unit. I asked what was wrong with it and they said it was dirty and 10 years old. I told them to get out of my house. That was on Friday I called to speak to a manager late in the afternoon to pay my bill , discuss the issues I had with their service and the feeling I had they were trying to take advantage of my elderly Mother. I waited until 11 on Monday with no call, I called and paid what I owed , canceled my contract and confirmed the message was in there to have a manager contact me. Its now 450 and no call. If you decide to use them I would suggest getting a second opinion for any large repairs, But really I would never use them. Their technicians work on commision which I feel is a huge conflict of interest.

2 months after Ian, I had them come out and check my AC system. They said there was nothing wrong with the system and it didn't need anything. They found there was some water in the air ducts, and gave me a a verbal estimate to dry them out and replace the main supply and return air duct for $4,000. I never received this formal quote, however did receive an $800 service call bill. I found another firm that dryer out and cleaned the house ducts the very next day for $1,000. We hire Best to replace the 14"""" supply and return air duct, about 8' of duct work for $1,800. When I arrived at the home in January, we found that they had not refastened the outside air handler to the concrete pad. When they came out they did not even apologize for there over site, but attended to up-sell an additional item for the unit.

This Alleged Business does not follow up oh their customers , calls-issues, I would stay away from the business due to the fact that they sell you low budget components, also when contacted they FAILED on multiple calls to return My contact. I finally spoke to an alleged supervisor, who only read from an your """"screwed: (sorry for the language,) script, and then was hung up on. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. You will not get customer service, when you call and left multiple messages. AGAIN STAY AWAY, there are many REPUTIBLE companies in the tri county area. I am temped to mention a few that I as wall as friends that but I do not want to look like this is a plug for other companies. Just be wary of this RIP OFF company. STAY AWAY, I have learned that the companies that you see their commercials every half hour are the ones that stiff the consumers. Where do they get their commercial money, from the sweat of our backs.

BHS installed a water heater at my grandmother's house when hers broke. The salesman came out on Wednesday, and pressured my cousin to sign up for a membership with passive threats of higher costs and gaslighting using phrases like """"it's a no-brainer"""". He ill-explained the contract, which she signed on a tablet, and did not mention the Buyer's Right to Cancel clause, which was never signed. The membership charge is $200/year, with a """"special member pricing"""" discount of $100 and an enrollment fee of $50. She was told she needed to sign up for the membership or she would have to pay a lot more. The technicians came on Friday and installed a Rheem MHD75245, which was discontinued in January. The two men carried the heater up a ladder that we already had in place to put it in a closet on the first floor roof over a patio. They took the closet door off, cut about 1/2 inch off the jamb, and glued together PVC pipes for the install. They did not used any special equipment or do any special work (i.e. using threaded barbs with soldered connections, copper piping, etc.). They did not repair the jamb and did not even reinstall the door on its hinges properly. A few hours after they left, the water was still not hot so my cousin called them back and they said they would come next week to fix it. I learned about this on the following Monday (after business hours) and when my cousin told me the cost I was shocked. My cousin did not have an invoice, contract, or any other paperwork to explain the charges so I got in contact with BHS on Tuesday and requested it. Among the paperwork they sent was the purchase invoice from the supplier that showed BHS paid $1692 for the heater. They had attempted to redact it, but did a poor job. BHS charged my cousin $8450 for the heater, $2000 for the labor, and $150 for the membership. I spoke to their plumbing manager about the 400% markup and she told me it was a fair price and without the membership, she would have been charged over $9000. She also told me the $2000 charge was because they had to rent special equipment and reframe the door. The technicians did not bring any special equipment; they showed up in a regular work van and used our ladder. They mad a sloppy cut in the doorjamb and did nothing to repair or """"reframe"""" it. I accused BHS of grossly over-charging and asked for a refund of $6000 from the $10,450 they charged. The remaining amount would still be a high price for installing a residential water heater. I was told they would not return any money and did not care about the financial hardship they created for my cousin; they always charge these prices and I should be grateful they came out so quickly. After several weeks, the company had a Customer Experience Coordinator reach out and ask how we can resolve this issue. I repeated that I would like a refund and explained the 400% markup on parts and $2000 charged for labor. Every time I refuted the explanation BHS gave for the labor charge, they came up with a new one. First, they said they had to do a re-pipe, then it was because they had to rent special equipment, then it was because they had to remove and reframe the door, and finally, they said it was because carrying up the ladder was hard. The coordinator offered me $1000 initially, then eventually came back with a contract offering $2000. The contract stated that the offer """"is in no way an admission of liability"""" and that, by signing, I will consider the issue fully resolved and retract all the detrimental reviews and refrain from authoring any more against the company. How could I accept such an offer? That would still mean we paid over $8000 for a $1700 water heater and we can't say we are not happy about it. I wonder if the reason this company has such good ratings is because they pay people to remove the bad reviews. Buyers beware.

Over priced and VERY UNRELIABLE!! Make an appointment and add 2 weeks to it because they will not be there, but are reliable in the fact that they will notify you less than an hour before not arriving. By the business definition that are above capacity. Look elsewhere until they reach equilibrium and can work at capacity.

Didn't have any work performed, just a quote. For a small drain clog they quoted almost $1600. When asked how long the tech thought it would take, he said less than an hour. Price gauging at its finest after the worst hurricane in 100 years. Businesses like this should feel ashamed at being opportunistic for people in need. Everyone is busy, everyone needs house work. But there's no reason you should be charging 4-5 times normal rates or even 2-3 times emergency rates.

Very unreliable company! Do not work with them. They sold us a new A/C unit for our condo, and we started having problems after a few months. They installed a new thermostat every two years. They convinced us to buy all the contracts they offer so we wouldn't pay for repairs every year, even though all are under warranty. They don't honor any contract. All contracts are useless, but they charge yearly renewal automatically and they keep your cc on file. Every few months now, they say the ducts are clogged and that's why the a/c stops. Every few months they want close to $800. Worst company ever!
