I have used Best Home Services for my home and business. I've utilized their plumbing, electric and AC services and had friendly, professional results every time. I will continue to use them and would recommend them to anyone in the SW Florida area. Give them a try and I'm sure you will be happy you did.

They advertised free service call and $50.00 off on any A/C repair in a full page ad of the """"News-Press"""". We were charged $252 to replace a $20.00 capacitor. When we asked for the $50.00 discount they refused to honor stating that they did not charge for the service call. This is deceptive advertising, besides getting overcharged for a 15-minute repair.

I will second the """"Run, don't walk"""" opinion offered by a Best Home Services customer who posted his review on 3/25/16. Service tech installed a capacitor and kickstart switch and attempted to bill us $520.00 to install 2 easy parts on a 10 year old CAC before reviewing the cost of parts and service with us. NOTE: The CAC never had a kickstart switch and would/does operate without one. He was instructed to remove the kickstart switch. However, before doing so a photo was taken of the parts he installed and it was noticed that he installed a USED kickstart switch which had a manufacture date of 2014. We believe this tech had every intention of billing us as though the part was a new one. After complaining to the the Install Manager and Office Manager a partial refund was offered IF and only IF we would sign a HOLD HARMLESS letter. We refused to sign it and then were offered a TOTAL refund but again only if the Hold Harmless Letter was signed. This complaint can be reviewed in its entirety on the Better Business Bureau under complaint number 67334815. At the time of this posting, the matter is still unresolved. J.C.

Run, do not walk, away from this company. It appears techs are on commission and always seem to find more things that you """"need"""" to have them install. We finally figured out that we were getting over-charged and underserviced. I could go into a long description of everything they did wrong, but suffice it to say that after spending thousands of dollars with them, we came to the realization that we had been taken in by their techs' always oh so friendly demeanor and promises to make sure we were taken care of. We were taken care of, alright. Never again.

Be very careful this is a bait ans switch company, I have lived in Florida for 35 years and have several rental properties.which need A C Servicing twice a year.Today I met the by far the rip off specialist with Best Home Services. The tech showed up on time he went thru the units and tried to sell me the farm,but the real winner was after servicing the units he said the filers need changing, He said we don't include that in our tune up. After dealing with numerous company through out Florida,I have never been told that,therefore upon the tech leaving I call 5 other companies and everyone of them includes the filter in the tune up.My business would have been 6 units twice a year and they lost that because of a $2.00 filter. The best part of all this is the tech could care less about my opinion ,I will post a copy of this letter on my company bulletin board .WORD OF MOUTH can kill a bussiness

Okay call me a glutton for punishment. I've had Best as an A/C service for more than 3 years. The repair prices are high, they have missed two service appointments and all they do is apologize. I know you're saying so change. Well that was my plan the last time they missed an appointment and then they gave me a free appointment. Don't be a sucker (like me). Use Yelp and find the companies that want your business.

Salesman very courteous and professional sold me a full repipe on my home which I wanted,unfortunately out of state when job was done. Pipe access areas left damaged when opened had to call to get them to schedule inspection and then again to schedule pipe access closing,never showed up for scheduled appt. When I finally got back to Fla to see what wasn't finished,found they left shut-off for ice maker off behind fridge,hot water shut-off for washer left off w/drain hose fastened in such a way that blocked lever,trash from parts used left on floor when I called to complain whoever I talked to wasn't involved w/my job but would pass my info on to manager.very disappointed Would not recommend.

conditioner that was in warranty. Technician told me that it needed a new motor and it would be $540 which I paid. On another property just this week I called another company the motor was under warranty and it was the $200 fee. Their rip off artist that's all

Keith came out to inspect our AC unit..He was very professional and to the point. I asked him several questions which he answered in a way I could understand. He explained the life expectancy of AC units in this area and could only give an educated guess as to the cost to replace our unit. His suggestions were all very well stated and to the point He was not a sales person he is a tech so pricing is not his expertise but need and necessity are and he shared his knowledge. I was pleased and would recommend Best Home Service to my friends.

I called these guys to assess a problem with my air handler. Before he even touched the unit he tried to sell me a duct sealing service for over $2,000. He had no idea how to fix my problem but wanted to sell the duct sealing. He charged me $75 for the privilege. I received no repair recommendation and no value for the $75. I think all they want to do is sell you something yo don't need. I would not recommend this company.
