We ae very pleased with the work Dave (the owner) has done as well as the communication/interaction.

We contacted him via his website to request a quote. He responded promptly and asked for specifics of the work we required to be done.

Dave came out to our home to review what was required. He discussed pricing and options/suggestions with us. He was clear in his estimate on what he was covering with his quote. As a comparison, we had another handyman service give us a quote over the phone without ever coming to see what was actually required.

When we were ready to have the work done, he was able to schedule us within two days. Dave installed 2 remote control ceiling fans, 2 bathroom grab rails and an electric stove top, all within a few hours.

The work was done quickly and professionally. Dave was clear in describing to us what he was going to do and never hesitated to ask questions if we were not clear on our requests (location of grab bars, for example). He cleaned up after the work was done, and left our home as neat as he found it.

A couple of notes: Dave excelled in keeping us informed on his timeline. He texted us when he was on his way to give us the estimate as well as when he was on his way to do the work. This level of communication is not always met by other companies and is much appreciated.

Dave is professional, well spoken polite and knowledgeable. We have had varying levels of success in the past (mostly on the low side!) but were very pleased with our interactions with him. We will not hesitate to contact him again for additional work in our home.

I hope this letter will be approved to post, as my intentions are to only inform and help, rather than a marketing endeavor. I and my family had such a positive experience with the company, ""Best Handyman"" at ""Besthandyman.us"" that I wanted to share with my fellow neighbors this tremendous asset to the community.

Mr. Dave Mays, a military veteran who specialized in some of the most dangerous technical military endeavors, decided to create a handy man business in the area where his: integrity, reasonable fees, punctuality, trustworthiness, adroit problem-solving skills, and wide-ranging skill set, par excellence, could be utilized. He is a craftsman, yet also possesses an acuity of the mind that sets him far above any competition.

There are so many praiseworthy statements I could say about Mr. Mays; however, I will attempt to only share a brief synopsis of our experience employing him. When I hired Mr. Mays to do some work at my home, his punctuality and commitment to the work was impressive. He quoted the estimated time of arrival. Once appearing, he quickly and succinctly began working with a laser like focus. It was clear he was trustworthy so much so that I felt completely comfortable leaving him alone in my home. When I returned, he was still busily working, employing the utmost care in the project. I have been a victim several times of workers who have damaged property items, stolen, even destroyed valuable documents in the home. Mr. Mays is more trustworthy than even some family members. It was quickly evident when speaking to him that he possesses a well above average intelligence and notice to the smallest details. Even the most mundane jobs are carried out: conscientiously, professionally, courteously, and with respectful candor.

Letting a stranger into your home can be scary. I recommend him most highly to seniors, women living alone, and populations vulnerable to exploitation. These groups are at a higher risk of becoming victims of assault, financial exploitation and deceit, theft, and even worse murder. That's why someone entering your home must be ""safe,"" honest, and possessing a strong moral compass. Mr. Mays far exceeds all these characteristics. I know my 78 yr. old mother is safe with him in her home.

There are no surprises either. He keeps the client up to date on his work showing photos, associated costs, and progress. You'll never receive a giant unanticipated bill, and you never have to worry about him being rough or disrespectful of your property, whether it be intentional or due to poor work ethics.

I hope this review may be helpful to an elderly person, woman, or anyone desiring quality work and craftsmanship. On those rare occasions when meeting someone such as Mr. Mays of ""Besthandyman.us"" I feel it my civic responsibility to the community to share this information.

I called Best Handyman (Dave Mays) with a fairly urgent repair request. Not only did Dave come out right away, but he postponed a personal appointment to come help me. I had a running commode that needed to be fixed. I have a back injury and need to be close to my bathroom. Dave was at my house within 20 minutes. He explained everything he was doing and when finished with the repair, he showed me how everything was connected and working properly and that there were no leaks. The repair was done in a very timely manner and the cost of the repair was very reasonable. I truly appreciated his professionalism and especially his kindness. That's a rarity these days. I will be calling on Dave in the future for a few more needed repairs. I cannot recommend Dave and Best Handyman enough. If you need any kind of work done, you can't go wrong in hiring this company.
