15+ years as a client. I have used these guys for bigger and smaller jobs. Super responsive, They have returned calls on weekends and everything. I trust them implicitly, if they say something can't be fixed, I believe it. Why? Because most times it's been a relatively inexpensive fix.

Tom, was so helpful. We needed someone to help us in a hurry and he was here the next morning. He installed our water heater and we are so Thankful. Highly recommended.
Thank you Tom and staff.

These folks are life savers! I've been using them for a long time.
They bailed me out today when I spun a valve at my toilet.

I was performing some 'maintenance' over New Year's weekend and goofed-up a valve. I waited until the 2nd to call Best Deal. I found them in the Scripps Ranch Newsletter.
I called and told them it was not an emergency. They came the very next day and fixed my problem in 15 minutes. There was no pressure to up sell anything.

I had a job done by their plumber Mike, Mike did a very good job in repairing my broken copper pipe and spigot. He did just what I expect him to do nothing less nothing more, he did it in less than an hour. I was also given a quote on the phone which is exactly the amount I paid for, no surprises.
There is a guy from a different company who came over to give me an estimate, they said they can't give me an estimate without looking, I told them what can you not estimate about soldering a broken copper pipe and screwing a spigot, very straight forward.
Anyways the guy gave me an estimate of over 1,000 dollars to solder a broken copper pipe and screw a spigot. He said he would have to do a major removal of my stucco to solder the copper pipe, the pipe is exposed enough to be able to solder with minimal removal of stucco.
He said how much do I think it should cost, I said a couple of hundred is enough, he walked away. I can't even believe he can look at me straight in the eye and give me a written estimate of the overblown work that he has to do. So anyways, Best Deal plumbing charged me exactly what I was expecting.

I had a bad Shower valve and needed it replaced immediately since I had to shut off water to the house. Called Tom and he sent Jon out within an hour of the call. Jon did great work and had my water back on within two hours. Very professional and helpful.

So my heater was giving off a smell of something burning last week and we were afraid to use it. Jon came out on a Monday after Xmas to check it out. He said it needed a new filter and everything else was okay. We also told him that the heater goes on for a while, then off, and then goes on again immediately sometimes. His comment was that it could be the battery for the thermostat and that WE should check it. I was told in advance on the phone that the cost for this service is $98 for up to an HOUR of service. After 20 minutes the tech left without checking the battery and my bill for $98 came in the mail. I just called to ask about this and was told that, yes, he should have checked it but didn't, and thank you for the $98 payment. For the remaining 40 minutes I could have had him check the battery and replace a shower cartridge. ago. I'm sorry to say that will be the last call I make to Best Deal Plumbing, Heating and Air.

I have used Best Deal Plumbing for years. They are reliable and trustworthy. I appreciate having someone to call on when those plumbing needs arise.

These guys charge 98$ just to show up for up to an hour of work. Since both of my heater and AC were down, I though it would be a good use of money.
The owner, Tom, returned my call promptly the same day and we scheduled an appointment for the next day morning. The technician, David, came on time and immediately started to work on my heater. He found that the safety switch inside was turned OFF. So, all he needed to do was to turn it back ON.
Then, we moved outside to check on the AC. David found a leakage of refrigerant from the pipe. However, he was not prepared to work on it... The equipment he needed was stolen over a month ago together with his truck... I would be cool with that, if we could stop the clock ticking, until David brought the equipment from another technician. David was also cool with that, if only Tom allowed.
Unfortunately, Tom decided otherwise. He called me and tried to scare me away from the repair by quoting crazy prices and long repair times. I must admit that he succeeded and I decided to postpone the repair. Then, I called Tom to schedule the continuation of repair, but he refused to continue just because he did not want to admit his fault that his technician did not have the necessary tools to fix the AC. Shockingly, the owner preferred to lose the customer over 30 min of labor...
In conclusion, it was a nice beginning, but a terrible end. The two stars I gave here both go to David for his excellent technical skills, quick work, honesty and good work ethics. Sorry, Tom, but if you fire customers like that just to earn a couple of extra bucks when you are in fault, you will soon lose all the customers. I wish I could be more positive on this company, but I paid 98$ just to turn ON the safety switch inside my heater and my AC is still not fixed...

We have used Tom many times over our years in SR. Promptly return phone calls & available in a timely fashion. Good service for water heater replacement & water leaks. Have changed out our incoming water lines & added a water pressure regulator. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for !!!
