1. A plumber installed two faucets and stoppers.
2. They were not holding water in the sink.
3. The same plumber returned the next day and said he'd fixed them. He had not; they still leaked.
4. Luis came for a third visit and made physical changes to the expensive new faucet stoppers.
5. That made one worse: Now one sink will not drain through the stopper.
6. Luis returned and tried to charge me $100 to snake the stopper he ruined!
Now I can't use the sink and must hire another plumber to fix the problem (if that's possible).

I called them based on a previous great experience I had with a young plumber that works for them. I don't remember his name but he did a great job.
This second time, Luis came to fix three toilets. He fixed one properly. He couldn't fix a second one because he had to order a piece (which he finally never ordered). He fixed the third one, but this one started leaking less than a month after that. When I called them, they told me that they have a 30 day warranty. I explained to them that, because of COVID, I wasn't able to let people inside my house. If not, I would have called before.
Are they technically right that I called after the warranty was over? Absolutely.
But this is not how you create long lasting relationships with clients. If you fix a toilet, it is supposed to work for more than 2 months.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! They fixed and replaced our garbage disposal at 9pm when it started to leak water up and out of the sink. It ended up fixing the dishwasher as well. We then also had issues with a bathroom leak and they were able to find the source of the leak and repair within an hour. Lastly, they cleaned and increased the water flow to our shower, because it was getting to weak and had some debris restricting the flow. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH, I will call you every time we have a problem. Thank you!

I have used Best City Rooter on 2 occasions and have found their service to be very affordable and honest. Jose was the plumber I requested both times having met him when he worked at my next door neighbors place. Jose is very knowledgeable and patient, he is willing to ask as many questions as you have until you have a full understanding for what you are inquiring about.

Again Best City Rooter was there for me. New Year's Day at 11pm at night my water heater busted a hose and hot water was spraying everywhere. I called Best City and their outgoing answering message said they are closed for New Years. Totally understandable. I left my SOS message and not five minutes later Luis calls, talks me through the shut off process and commits to seeing me at 7am the next morning. At 7 am on the dot he was there. Saved the day and I will never call anyone else.

It was Easter Day and my toilet was clogged and my apt flooded when my neighbors upstairs took showers. My plumber went above and beyond to fix my toilet. It turned from an hour to a five hour job. He didn't give up and tried various tools to fix my clogged toilet. He wiped down the bathroom when he was done to cleaned up after himself. He also used a wet vacuum to remove the flood in my house. This included moving furniture to dry my floor. I really appreciate how he explained the problem he suspected and also updates on what might work next. Believe it or not I called around to other plumbers on Yelp and no one had his reasonable price and great customer service. I received a call back soon after leaving a voicemail versus hours later. I will never use another plumber. I highly recommend this plumber because he believes doing a good job is better than paying for advertising because you gain loyal customers.

First, I have to mention this a partial review because my landlord hired Best City Rooter to unclog our sewer in our home and I can't comment on the cost of the service. However, the plumber, Luis, who came to do the work was such a professional I had to write a review. He was prompt, friendly, and sincere. He worked as quickly as possible to remove the clog. Although, we weren't the homeowners he still took the time out to point out plumbing issues that he saw. Removing the clog was by no means an easy task, as the house is old and didnt have cleanouts and required Luis to remove the toilet to snake the main line. After performing this hard work he actually cleaned the areas he had to access. The guy was amazing and you could see he took pride in his work. Awesome, plumber! Well done Luis and Best City Rooter.

I called Best City based on a recommendation from a friend. I was not disappointed. Luis and Louis were able to fit me in their schedule the same day that I called. They cleared my outdoor drains that were clogged badly. It was not an easy job, as it took several tries with the hydro jet and snake. Even though it was cold and rainy, they didn't give up. Even I was almost ready to call it quits, but their persistence paid off. I was very happy with their quality of work and the price that they charged. They are very trustworthy and didn't try to scam me like some other plumbers that I've had experiences with. I will be using them again in the future.

We're selling our home and were very surprised to discover - after the buyer's home inspector arrived - that there was a significant leak in the crawlspace below the house. After shutting the water off and wriggling back under the flooring, I found the source (a somewhat larger than pinhole leak in a copper line). We were referred to Luis and he showed up after just a couple of hours. He got to work right away, cut out the offending line, soldered in new pipe, and everything's as good as new - perhaps better. Repair quality looked very good. Highly recommend!

The work performed by Best City Rooter has been uniformly excellent. I have used them in Santa Monica for kitchen and bathroom repairs; the work is always done quickly and efficiently. Louis and Jose (and one plumber whose name escapes me at the moment. Sorry!) are not only good at their work, they are pleasant to deal with. P.S. I am from New York City and I am used to large plumbing bills. Best City Rooter always pleasantly surprises me!
