I will NEVER used this company for anything. I was referred by Home Depot to Best Care for a tankless water heater replacement of one of my three tankless systems in my home. Technician started by saying they don't use Home Depot Rheem products and everything MUST to taken out new gas line installed, new exhaust installed, drip lines etc. Their estimate was so far outside the normal I won't consider Best Care or Home Depot for future needs. This is extreme price gouging. If you deal with Best Care watch your money they are out to get it.
Nikia J.Worst Customer experience I've ever had. My home warranty service submitted my claim for repairs for my air conditioner unit with Best Care Home Services. I should have been weary when I called the first day and left message but didn't receive a call back. On the 2nd day, I called again and left a message and I finally received a call back. I was told a technician would be at my house on the 3rd day (June 4th) from 1:pm - 5:pm. I received a call from Best Care Home Services that day telling me the technician was running a little late. He finally arrived at my house at 8:pm. He told us that we needed a new motor and he would be placing the order the next day. I called the next day just to confirm and I was told the motor would be ordered that day. On June 6th, I called to see if the motor had arrived. I was told that it hadn't and they would call me when it did. On June 7th, I called my home warranty service and they called Best Care Home services. They were told the motor should arrive that afternoon. That afternoon when I hadn't heard anything, I attempted to call Best Care Home Services. No one answered and I was sent to voicemail. I then called my home warranty services and they also got Best Care Home Services' voicemail. Today (June 8th), Best Care Home Services called to tell me the motor has arrived. But they can't send anyone out until Monday, June 11th. Please keep in mind temperatures are 95 degrees. Other companies have told me that it shouldn't take this long. I'm so upset that I've had to sleep on a couch and now my back is acting up. Literally, I've been waiting for repairs since June 2nd. And now I'm being told that it won't be repaired until June 11th. They haven't shown any concerns about my well-being and discomfort - despite the fact that I've paid a ton of money to a home warranty service for them to make repairs when I need them.
Had horrible service dealing with Best Care. Said I had a leaking coil that needed to be replaced. Turns out it was the same coil they replaced 11/2 years ago. These coils should last 15 years!! They told me no warranty exists and that there was nothing they could do. Come to find out it wasn't the coil to begin with, finding this out through another AC company, and that I was low on Freon and just needed my pan adjusted. Best Care serviced my AC May 15th saying everything was good to go, two weeks later I'm low on Freon?. In addition, come to find out there is a manufactures warranty on the coil. Miss information and laziness seems to be the real issue. Would not recommend........
My Home warranty sent Best Care to repair my central air. I so horrible disappointed in Best Care's service; they replaced my unit before getting it to work; I was informed by the repair guy that my furnace has a ""Bad Board"" . They left without repairing/replacing the board. I have left several messages and Best Care will not return my phone calls. Update; I received an e-mail from Julie and they are aware of the issues and Julie is attempting to assist me in with our not working HVAC.
Alan K.We had a Heating problem and called about 4pm. The service man came the next morning at 11am, prompt and friendly. Quickly fixed the unit but at 7pm we discovered there was still a problem. Called the answering service and they had same mature serviceman call and he was at our house again 30 minutes later at 7:30 in the evening. Fixed the problem by replacing the thermostat. Repaired in 30 minutes with no problems since then. When I had a problem they jumped to fix it, without a complaint. Very reasonable, friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent service!
Robyn J.I was very disappointed with how long it took this company to finish the job. In September, they installed a new furnace, AC unit and water heater. It was not until November 4, after countless visits from their technicians, that I had a functioning furnace. Despite the fact that temperatures dipped down to 35 degrees one weekend, they didn't show any urgency to get the job done. I will say that everyone I dealt with was professional and polite, and appeared to want to help. It seemed that there was a lack of communication between technicians and office staff, and also perhaps a lack of follow up or proactive approach from individuals, which resulted in progress getting stalled frequently. I don't think the furnace would be working now if I hadn't continued to call the office to check up on different parts of the job to make sure they were completed.
Doreen H.Best Care is the company my home warranty company sent for the problem I had with my HVAC so I had no choice in the matter. I had a drip pan full of water under my unit when I opened the call at 8am Thursday morning. My warranty states that they have 48 hours to respond which Best Care took advantage of. I wasn't able to get an appointment until the following Saturday. Up until that time I drained the pan and did research to figure out the probable cause. I did a few things as suggested in the research and kept draining the pan as it kept filling up. When the tech arrived the pan was bone dry, of course! The technician arrived after 11:30 which was more than 48 hours after the call was opened - therefore not meeting the contractual agreement. He couldn't find anything wrong but ordered a safety cutoff switch that he said would be covered by the warranty. I received an invoice for $195 stating ""Only responsible for 75.00 service fee"" with the balance of it to be paid by my home warranty company.
On Wednesday the following week I had heard nothing from either the warranty company or Best Care. I called Best Care and explained my situation and wanted to know when to expect the part to be installed. I was told that since there was no mechanical problem the part had not been ordered because it is not something that is covered by the warranty. So, essentially I paid $75 to them for showing up late. No call back to explain that what the tech explained and billed me for was wrong.
Excellent job on my toilet install. Professional and experienced. Would highly recommend.
Quick, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Tech was early for the appointment, everything went smoothly and we have AC... I would highly recommend them!
American Home Warranty sent them out to check on a pipe leak. Charged me $65 (service charge) and quoted me $3800 to fix leak. I called another company and they came out and repaired the pipe for $300. What's up with that?
