Called Bergsma Plumbing on Tuesday morning, June 30 requesting help with a kitchen faucet that was leaking under the sink. I told Ryan that I had a new faucet on order, and it was being shipped up from the warehouse in Stockton. It should be here either today or Wednesday, July 1st. He set up an appointment for Thursday between 3 to 5 pm, and asked that I call back and let them know when I receive the faucet.

Faucet was received later that evening from UPS, and I called and left a message saying it was delivered and it would be available for Thursday. I then called again on Wednesday morning and left another message saying I had received the faucet yesterday, and was looking forward for them to be out tomorrow.

Thursday came and went, no plumber arrived, so I called them and left a message asking what was up, and for them to call me back. They called me back this morning (Friday, July 3rd) and said there was a mix up, and that they meant Thursday, July 9th.

It is possible that this was the case, however, who has a kitchen faucet leaking under the sink and can afford to wait 10 days to get it fixed. Had they told me up front that it was that far out, I would have said ""thanks, but no thanks"". Additionally, I was pretty clear when I called and left messages that the new faucet was on hand, and I was looking forward for them to be out tomorrow, that at least I was under the impression that it was for this Thursday.

It is possible that they meant the 9th but didn't communicate it, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave 2 stars. And yes, I've experienced better. If you use them, I hope you have better luck than I.

The were quick and efficient. They showed up on time. They did what I asked them to do with a smile on their faces. They went the extra mile in customer service. I will definitely use them again.

They came out and fixed a trap of one sink correctly. Unfortunately, the sink repair of a throat of a separate pedestial sink was done incorrectly. He left the sink unlevel when it was level when he started. The sink was left with a gap from the wall. I complained and got a run around. All he had to do is regrout under the pedestal to level the sink flush with the wall. Not the service of old.

I had to shut off the main water valve because the toilet shutoff valve was leaking profusely. I called Bergsma Plumbing. The receptionist said she would have someone out by 1:00pm. They came out at noon and had the problem fixed in 40 minutes. Great service from the office staff to the plumber and a reasonable price.

Bergsma Plumbing was extremely responsive to a call I made to install my new dishwasher. That job entailed leaky pipes and also replacing the garbage disposal, all of which were expertly handled. On top of that, his fee was reasonable and the repairman even hauled away the defective appliances to spare me the challenge. Thank you, Steve and crew!

After a lame excuse why you couldn't make the first appointment, I don't know why I made the second appointment. You missed that too and didn't have the courtesy to call. Why are you in business when you can't keep your appointments? You're a disappointment. Shame on you.
