We had the best experience with Bergsma! Our water heater went out this morning. I called Bergsma and they were at our house within a few hours. Jim, who answered the phone was so kind, responsive and knew exactly what we needed. Our technician Aiden was courteous, knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, cleaned his work area and was very efficient. Well done Bergsma! You have our plumbing business....

I called for an emergency (water leaking through ceiling in basement). They scheduled the Same day. Matt was my tech and he was through and informative about the issue. Job was completed before he left. Extremely happy and would recommend this company hands down!

Called for service and had someone over a week later. I mentioned my pressure tank was making a thumping noise where pressure is bouncing from 40-50. plumber came out and told me it's a pressure switch but he doesn't carry those on the truck so he'll have to run to hardware store. after the new switch it installed it is still thumping so he FaceTimes someone to troubleshoot they end up releasing some pressure from the tank and the thumping quit. they told me I must've over pressurized it and its been happening. I've been living here 5 years and it has never done this.

Presure switch - $365. I confirmed they're about $50 at the store.
labor - $85

24 hours later we are thumping. So close to $500 for nothing.

I was optimistic to have someone seem eager to come help us right away with our broken dishwasher. Said they would arrive between 10-12...they texted 10 mins ahead of time to say they were on their way, got to my house by 9:25. so that was a frantic rush with my kiddos.

To my surprise, TWO techs showed up (always just had one in the past from other companies) even though my text notification only named one tech, Kyle. Seemed to be more focused on my loud garbage disposal then the broken dishwasher that's damaging my kitchen floor from leaking water...After about 40 mins, no resolution to my problem. I was told probably better off just buying a new dishwasher to avoid the cost of moving the dishwasher out to check the lines.

Thank god I decided on a new dishwasher because I was shocked to find out I was charged $295! Looking back at the invoice, I see a fee of $85 to come out & was charged for BOTH techs which was $210 (& why wasn't I notified of the cost of the 2nd tech?? shady) for about 40 mins and NO resolution! Which seems wild to me!

Man, the techs were nice, but dang, we got screwed big time by Bergsma plumbing! Will not use again & would not recommend to anyone.

Bergsma was on the spot when I couldn't get our usual go to for over 24 hours. They were there the next day.
Our most current issue was handled with great competence. I called at 5:30, they answered my call, and gave me a call back within 15 minutes. Had Dave to us by 10am. He was fantastic. Took great care of the trouble, explained everything to me in detail.
Definitely recommend Bergsma for your plumbing needs.?

If you need a plumber, look no further than Bergsma Plumbing. The tech showed up on time, fixed an annoying leak, he was super considerate and cleaned up after his great work! Five stars all around!

I had to call Bergsma Plumbing over the weekend and they were able to get to me in right away. I had a pipe burst in the basement. The woman on the phone was very nice and patient as I explained my issue. Michael came out and was very thorough with his work and was able to get the problem fixed right away. He even got me in touch with a restoration company to come help with the clean up. Cost was great being emergency rates. Definetly my preferred plumber from now on!

so I had an appointment today between eight and 10 with a confirmation yesterday I received no call when they did not show up I called in they had to call the driver. He said he had car problems but couldn't call the office or the customer to give me a heads up, for that reason that's a huge strike against them. I don't know what this says about the company but if he was my employee, I would be livid. just spoke with the manager that didn't sound very apologetic. He just told me he was going to have my review removed because I wasn't a customer. I still can't believe somebody can't make a phone call with all the cell phone today he even had all the information wrong. He thought he called me, but I had to call the office to find out where they were at after listening to the manager because I got a text to call them. I don't think I'd ever do business with this company.

our toilet was flushing by itself . Upon trying to turn off the water supply to the tank it was leaking. I called Bergsma Plumbing and they sent Matt. He arrived. Took him less than 10 minutes to replace fill valve and inside tank parts ( said we didn't need a new flapper ) We he told me the cost I almost choked 390.00 dollars. !!!! well he left and all night toilet flushed by itself. I called and they sent Josh. He said flapper problem ! Didn't replace-it and said I owed 85 service call. I refused to pay. I notified the office of my problems and was told she would contact the manager. Well I had another company actually come and fix my toilet. It need a new flapper SURPRISE ! To this day have not had a response back from Bergsma. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service as well as their price gouging. Would never recommend them to anyone.
