Ben is the best of the best! I have been using Ben since before he started his own company and he is the best contractor I have ever used and an exceptional plumber.

He is literally a master of his trade. His work is of the highest quality. He is professional, honest, timely, outstanding communication, reasonably priced, and I have used him for every plumbing need in my house. More recently, he fixed a leak in the basement ceiling that was in an extremely challenging location, but he did an exceptional job and I have had no issues since then. Previously, he installed my reverse osmosis system, water heater, outdoor frost-proof faucet, and several other jobs.

We had a hose connection break in our condo laundry closet and needed to get that fixed/replaced. Ben's Plumbing gave us a very fair price quote and was easy to work with throughout. The timeframe was quick and they did high-quality, thorough work. They replaced all the hoses (not just the broken one) and moved the machines, which we appreciated so we could clean leftover standing water. They even got us a new metal drain pan to replace the cracked plastic one we had before. We liked the personal, local small business touch and had a much better experience with Ben's Plumbing than large ""conglomerate"" plumbing operations. After making many calls to replace an ancient leaking galvanized pipe in my basement, Ben's Plumbing came to the rescue. A different plumber told me that he's been in business for 50 years and my pipes were the worst he's even seen. Other plumbers ghosted me. This seemingly insurmountable job was completed by Ben and his crew within a week of me reaching out. Ben is very reliable and responsible. He cares about customer service. He sent his quote in less than 1 hour after the consultation. He also got us through the LPRAP program really quickly to replace some exterior lead pipes. Rob also did some work for us, and he was amazing as well. Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience with Ben's Plumbing. I looked into a few companies to replace a lead water service pipe and ultimately went with Ben's Plumbing. Ben came out and gave me a quick, helpful estimate and description of the work involved.

DC has a program that reimburses you up to $2,500 for replacing your lead water service pipe and for the program they have the certified plumber submit all the paperwork. It requires approval from about four different DC government agencies, and Ben's Plumbing navigated the process quickly and seamlessly.

Just like Ben said in my initial consultation, the work took one day and they got it all done with trenchless method that minimized the impact to the front yard. It wasn't stressful at all and I'm thrilled my family no longer has to worry about lead in our drinking water!

Ben's Plumbing also throws in a free whole-home plumbing inspection, which was helpful since we have a new house. Rob came out and walked me through all the plumbing-related appliances in my house. It was really informative and great way to learn about my house. I got a reasonable estimate for a few various plumbing issues and I look forward to getting those items taken care of by Ben's Plumbing as well.

Ben's Plumbing totally handled our lead service line replacement in Washington DC, including getting application in to perform the work in the DC Water replacement program, plus the needed permits. The crew arrived exactly when they said they would and were very careful about not damaging the yard despite having to dig very far down to locate the pipe. There were complicating factors, such as other pipes running through area, but they got the job done in timely fashion. I would recommend them without reservations. Pleasure to deal with, start to finish.

Very responsive and efficient service, from initial call to team coming out on-time and prepared. Doesn't get any better really. Our issue turned out to be very minor, but we didn't want to take any changes with possibility of water damage. They clearly know what they are doing and are personable and fair - never attempted to make the problem seem bigger than it actually was to get more money out of us. The two guys who came out wore she covers etc., without us even asking, and cleaned up the space after they were done.
