I am so happy (and relieved) to find Ben's 24 hour plumbing service! I tried to change the valves to my washing machine, but got the wrong replacement parts so they leaked, which meant I had to keep the water to my place shut off. Ben really came through for me. He did a great job, was reasonably priced - especially for a same day, rush service. Ben was also a delight to be around - a very friendly, interesting person who is very knowledgable and skilled. I highly recommend Ben's 24 Hr Plumbing Repair Service. I would use his service anytime with confidence. Thanks again, Ben!

Ben Heaston Plumbing is the greatest! Ben answered his phone when I called him and he came right over to assess the plumbing job I needed done. It was not an emergency, but it was important to me to have the work done in a timely manner. Ben and his highly experienced associate, Bruce, came over the next day and they finished the complicated job quickly, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. Ben's hourly rate is the same as every other plumber in this area, but the level of knowledge, experience and professional care you'll get from him is exceptional compared with most other plumbers in my experience.

By the way, the 1-star bad review from Stacy W. in this Yelp thread is very obviously an error and NOT meant for Ben Heaston of Cambria CA! There is another Cambria in New York state, where Stacy W. is from...and, as good as Ben's work and reputation are in Cambria CA, he doesn't commute as far as Cambria, NY.

This ""plumber"" made multiple appointments with us, requiring we miss work, then just never showed up.
When he finally arrived at the 4th appt he fixed the problem, then tinkered with the faucet for a while - even when we said multiple times that the faucet was fine and to leave it alone - just so he could pad out his hourly labor charge.
He is extremely unreliable, and leered at me the whole time he was here.

Not a paid advertisement or affiliated reviewer. I had Ben and his son Nathan here and they are extremely knowledgeable, efficient, honest, responsible and timely! I would never use anyone else for any plumbing needs like toilets, sinks, sewage, pipes, gas lines, water heaters and everything else! I would recommend to call Ben first to see if he can do your work because he is brilliant! And he won't try to gouge you for a few more bucks! When the work stops, so does the clock. He has all the tools including for real estate and commercial properties if you need something video taped and located if your selling or buying a house or doing work on your house. I usually don't take the time to write on Yelp but I'm going to recommend Ben and his team with the highest honors because they don't get better then he and his team! Small outfit but busy...it's no wonder! Thanks for the best service I have ever had! Wish I could take you to other areas to do work but I know you try to keep it local in the San Luis Obispo area as you said. A+ in my book for sure!

We had to call Ben for an emergency plumbing problem.And a complicated one at that.Our house sat below street level,requiring a special grinder/pump to get it to the main sewer.It was a mess.And it needed replacement.
Ben did a full on Mcgyver move.He used paper clips,duct tape,ect.
It worked fine until our property managment gave him the go ahead to order the parts needed to fix it right.Hes very skilled in his craft.And im only giving him 4 stars because we never saw the bill.But I have a feeling it was resonable based on his attitude and personality.
