We discovered a small leak under the sink in April, easily managed, but needed repair. While it took a bit to get an appointment, when Eric the plumber arrived at the beginning of the time window we were given, he easily identified the problem and had it fixed very quickly. While he was there he also looked at why our refrigerator was leaking, moved it for us, disposed of a deceased mouse, and told us it was likely a frozen drainage tube. He certainly didn't need to do any of this, but it prevented us from needing to find an appliance person to come out. Very knowledgeable and just an all-around nice guy. Based on this we will continue to use and recommend Bennett Plumbing and Eric. PS. He deserves a raise, he is great PR for you.

Didn't realize that what they did on the day described below was only a bandaid on the real problem. While we are grateful that it got us through 12/25 without further incident, the follow up service, p-r-o-t-r-a-c-t-e-d time needed for diagnosis, getting the parts, etc. resulted in more time without heat over the holiday week and, of course, much higher cost billed. Never again with this company.

We thought when we hired Bennett Plumbing & Heating they would ensure the protection of our heating system and our home... BOY were we wrong!

After the routine service call was completed, they came back to our home an hour later and told us there was a carbon monoxide issue. It was insinuated they needed to replace the system at a cost of $6,000, and that it needed to be shut down. We asked them not to shut it down, as it was cold and we didn't want the pipes to freeze overnight (and we weren't going to be there). We also wanted a second opinion. They shut it down anyway, without our knowledge or permission. They had shut the gas off, and disconnected the wires to the furnace. We luckily noticed later that night on our Nest thermostat that the temp in the house had dropped drastically, putting our house at risk.

We had to hire an emergency plumber to fix their mistakes. That plumber, along with an inspector from the fire department, indicated there was no carbon monoxide issue at all, and that the system was not in need of replacement.

We are disturbed by their negligence, as well as the total lack of communication. Our home was left vulnerable to thousands of dollars' worth of significant damage, without our knowledge or permission. And the ""threat"" of carbon monoxide was never corroborated. We share this experience in the hopes that it will prevent something like this from happening to you.

I have used Bennett a few times and found all of the people that I dealt with to be very courteous and competent. They go out of their way to be helpful.

We have used Bennett several times in the past years and found them professional and responsive. Since September, we have had 3 appointments for which for which they were a ""no show"" nor did they call or cancel. One of the times we called to insure a technician would be coming and we were told that we were on the schedule and they would be there that day. They never came and they never called. Today was our third appointment and again no show and no call. We understand emergencies but when we spoke to the office they were rude and didn't offer an explanation as to why they were a second time no show. Today was our third and last time to schedule an appointment. We held them in high regards in the past and referred them to others. I am not sure what happened but I will not use them or recommend them.

Bad experience from start to finish. Basic request to have my furnace serviced. They didn't come when they committed to, they didn't communicate when they did finally come and had shut off heat and water while they ordered a part, and then they didn't turn the water back on. Even after I called to say the water needed to be turned on, they said their guy went to do that and he hadn't. Person who answered the phone was not at all helpful or apologetic. Terrible service.

Say they will be back in a half of a hour and don't return for 3 hours. Had three items that needed to be fixed. Only one was actually fixed and paid a pretty penny. Also a 12inch by 12 inch hole was cut into my wall and just left. And this being one of the 3 things that he supposedly fixed and was not. I also asked for a guesstimate on a outdoor shower and they never showed up. So weird! They seem to be more concerned with the tip then the job it's self. Tried to contact owner and was denied. Just called to make an appointment and she told that she would have to call me back in a week or 2. I have never heard of anything like that before. It's a pretty big company and you have no one to come for 2 weeks. She would not schedule it either she said she would call me back. Very strange!!!! I believe the owner has no idea of the incompetence of his employees. It is real bad. I called another plumber and they will be coming today. Now that a good business.

My wife and I recently had AC mini-splits installed in our home and we couldn't be happier with the work, the hardware used, and above all the people with Bennett Plumbing.

They worked their tails off in the blazing heat, left our home as clean as they found it and were as polite and professional as any contractors I've ever worked with.

This is a first class company and I will continue to use them and recommend them.

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received from Bennett. They are understaffed and poor communicators. They strung me along without heat or hot water for 10 days in November before another plumber in town stepped in and fixed the problem swiftly.
