We had to have new shout off valves for our water line. We called them and with in an hour they were here. They were done so fast. The plumber, named Matt, did a wonderful job. Thank you Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

We had a problem with our sub pump in the basement, so I called Benjamin Franklin. They were able to quickly schedule us an appointment. Our Handyman's name was Forrest. (Like Forrest Gump) he was very friendly knowledgeable and easy to work with. He inspected the problem, showed us a few options as far as the products are concerned and the. immediately got to work. He worked very effectively, and he was out in no time. I definitely recommend calling Benjamin Franklin in the future with any services you might have a plumbing and more.

Benjamin Franklin worked on my family's hot water heater on Friday July 3. That day we had smelled gas in the laundry room (where the hot water heater is located) but assumed it was because of the work done just hours before. We had people over Friday night and we kept most windows and doors open and we didn't seem to have a problem. Flash forward to the next day, the 4th, my family and I were gone most of the day for festivities while we left our dog home. When we got home, a gas odor had taken over the whole house and my dog was acting lethargic and even fell off the back of our couch. At that point we decided to hook up a portable carbon monoxide detector and about 10 minutes later, it was reading carbon monoxide levels of over 200. When we called Benjamin Franklin they expressed that they couldn't do anything until TUESDAY. That's 4 days. We had to have the gas company shut off all of our gas and we had to stay at hotel for the night, with the chance of having to do it again tonight. I am appalled by the lack of concern Benjamin Franklin has for the health of my family and I would suggest not doing business with them. We had no gas odor and no problems (except the hot water heater being out) before Benjamin Franklin got involved. And when they risked the health of my family and I, the best they could do was wait 4 days. 0/5 stars for almost killing my dog and risking mine and my family's health.

My recommendation is to avoid this business at all costs. We bought a new washer and dryer from Lowe's and had Ben Franklin Plumbing do the install. The water heater needed moved about ten feet to fit the washer and dryer. We wanted the washer and dryer side by side. The swap in locations of the washer and water heater shouldn't have been rocket science. They, in turn, subcontacted their sister company ""Mr. Sparky"" to do the electrical.
We paid over two thousand dollars for work that is completely amateurish. We left it as they left it. We took photographs. We contacted the company and asked for an inspector to come and look at the work. My wife got an email back where the so called electrician claimed to have done professional work. No inspector ever came. No further action was ever taken by Ben Franklin or Mr. Sparky. Next summer...when I have the time to do it myself...the whole job has to be redone.
My advice is simple: avoid this company.

Even Ben Franklin would cast a weary eye - these guys tried to collect a $70 fee from me for coming out and LOOKING at my kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Mind you, no work was done. They just were giving me an estimate (which was incredibly high) to install two new faucet sets. I refused to pay a fee - the plumber seemed surprised that anyone would dare refuse. I don't care if I'm on their bad list or anything - this ""pay us to tell you how much we'll charge you crap"" is a load. Benny... we won't call your number. 867-53-Oh God!
