When Brandon and Wesley had showed up I just told him that the sewer line below the house was leaking they did not want to go under there but they did perform the snake cleaning so they left the pipe still broken I told them that it needed a mission coupling to fix the leakage underneath we are senior citizens and I had to go underneath and fix the problem myself other plumbers that I spoke with afterwards said they would have not left our home until it was completely fixed they were here approximately 1 hour and they charged over $650 if I could give them a zero rating that's what they would get so buyer beware
2,800 dollars spent. And we received leaking faucets, shower heads, wiggly handles, loose faucets yet tight to the wall plate and scratching the finish. Bathtub was installed crooked. Absolute nightmare. We had to have Mike the owner come and fix the first mess up which was the tub. Second round 2 guys installed the sink faucets (both very loose and move around when you turn the water on and off) a shower head (which was screwed on without using the white tape, so that is leaking) and a bathtub spout (which has a 1/4 inch gap from the tile) and a spinny handle in the shower ( which the handle is super tight to the plate, yet the handle itself is super wiggly and already scratching the finish) our drawer in our vanity won't shut properly ( the plumbers swore they measured correctly to make sure our drawers would fit with the plumbing). Joe is an absolute dipshit know it all and was beyond rude, and should never be left to work with people. No one seems to know any type of actual plumbing, yet they are ass raping anyone who calls them out with their prices and sarcastic ignorant comments and know it all attitude. This company should be ashamed of themselves. I would rather my whole house flood and be damaged beyond repair than ever call this company to fix anything. I will gladly save my money because they would just let my entire house flood with the lack of plumbing knowledge. Shame on you guys.
Eva K.Charged me over $700 to install a garbage disposal, took less than an hour
Tony H.The gas valve/thermostat on my water heater went bad so I called these guys to have them replace the valve. The responding service man told me the valve could not be replaced and I would have to replace the entire unit and it would cost me over $2k. It was a few days before Thanksgiving and my wife was working out of town so I declined the service for the time being. Meanwhile I began researching repairs for the valve. In the end I found the replacement part for $165 and did the work myself. This guy was really only out to sell me a new water heater knowing full well the one I had could be repaired, and under high pressure due to the upcoming holiday he thought he had a sale in the bag. These are the guys who give tradesmen a bad name and should be avoided at all costs.
BP K.So, a few months ago the owner called and said they would send us a check for $100, which would bring the total cost closer to what would have been more fair/appropriate. We have never received a check, and now the whole mechanism for the drain they installed is failing. Seriously???
They were on time and friendly. Then removed a tweezer from trap for $415.00 ! Less than 30 minutes work shouldn't cost that considering we waited over 3 days for a regular visit.
They must never have heard of ""customer service"". Spoke with 2 people and couldn't even get them to tell me what there service appt fee was! They are the most rude and uninformative people I have ever dealt with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OUTFIT!!!
Montessahall H.This scam company is a total rip off! Their prices are way over industry standards, plus they have a ridiculous travel fee they don't disclose even if you don't hire them. They are awful!
Gee L.I have a Price Pfister ""pull out"" kitchen faucet (2 yrs old) that developed a leak in the sprayer and/or sprayer hose. I contacted PP and they sent a new hose and sprayer (in 8 days), no charge. After looking at a number of videos on how to install the new hose, I tried it myself but I didn't have the grip strength to complete the job. Since I had a coupon from Ben Franklin ($73 off), I called and explained the problem. The cust. rep. said there is an $89 service trip charge - in addition to any work done. I told her I had the coupon and asked if it applied to the service trip charge. She said yes, so I set up an appointment for 2 days later. The plumber rep, Matthew, arrived five minutes before the end of the schedule period, which was no problem. Matthew was very cordial and discussed a couple of ways to solve the leak (either replacing the hose, which PP had already provided) or replacing the O ring in the sprayer (with the O ring that PP had already provided). I said OK, how much. Matthew showed me the BF price sheet. My jaw dropped. The lowest price was $225. The repair would take less than 5 minutes! Really? REALLY? I said NO. Then I said I have a coupon that the scheduler said I could apply to the $89 service trip charge. Matthew said that coupon only applies if work is done. He said, no problem, all phone calls are recorded; so he called the scheduler. She played the recording, and yes, I was right. I had indeed said ""so the coupon is applied to the service call charge?"" Rep said ""yes, according to the coupon details."" Yay! No...wait. In very small print that I needed my readers to see, it states ""not valid with any other offer or toward trip fee."" Damm. So I paid the $89 and chalked it up to ""experience."" (I asked Matthew what he would charge to install a new faucet...$350 - not including the faucet. BTW, he recommended Delta Faucets.) My advice: find an independent licensed plumber (recommended by someone you trust) and get the prices in advance. Not Ben Franklin! (The ""real"" Ben Franklin is probably raising his bushy eyebrows and saying ""Whaaaa?"")
Helen D.I had Ben Franklin Plumbing replace a $5 hose at the back of my toilet, it took 1 hour and the plumber presented us with an un Itemized bill of $517. When I called and spoke to Mark he was so rude would not let me talk, the second time I called to ask for itemized bill of why it cost so much for 1 hr small repair he hung up on me. We are Senior s and feel they took advantage of us and Mark gave us no customer service. The toilet not leaking so I will give a one star
