John was very knowledgeable and professional. Came in diagnosed the problem I was having as to why my bathroom was flooded, picked up the toilet I wanted (I wanted a higher toilet not so low as the one on there) and installed it and gave me great advise on using flushable wipes.

My Daughter and her husband highly recommended BFP. We could not be happier with their customer service!!! Were able to squeeze us in (on move-in day) much earlier than expected. Very courteous, professional, and personable technicians. Fixed us up quickly so we were able to run a load of laundry a day earlier than expected!!!! We will definitely call them again if we need their services!

Danny was superb! He explained everything to my understanding. He offered me multiple choices, and I really appreciated that he understood I have a budget. He kept me updated during the job. He was professional, friendly, and efficient. The job was somewhat pricey, but. I definately got what I paid for. GREAT, GREAT JOB DANNY!!

The technician replaced the hot water pipes at one end of my house, which required cutting holes in several rooms. Not a problem, since that is what needed to be done. They also cut the cables in the walls for our Direct TV. They did not tell us. When Direct TV came out 2 days later to repair they said it was obvious Benjamin Franklin knew they cut the cables because they tried to repair them by stapling them back together. The service call from Direct TV lasted 8 hours as they tried to diagnose a problem that could have been narrowed down had we been told. The sad thing is that we have our Benjamin Franklin technician a good review because it was texted to us immediately after he left and before we turned on our TV

I had plumbing problems, I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and the company had a technician at the house within 20 minutes. He showed me the cost before he began the job. Fixed the problem, and was gone in less than 20 minutes. He was very professional and courteous.

To all those that I recommended Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to during this storm, I truly am sorry.

Like many East Texans my tankless hot water heater froze and burst due to no power to keep the hot water running and soon after the loss of water.

I called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to report my issue, Saturday the 20th at 8:58 am.

I was informed that due to the number of calls I was going to be put on a list that would be answered in the order that the calls came in.

This was completely acceptable to me.

I called again the following Monday at 11:53am to get some idea of when I would need to be available, and was told that they were working down the list and we're almost done with Thursday calls and I could expect service possibly on Tuesday, but more than likely on Wednesday.

I have been in the service industry and am more than familiar with how things work in situations like this, and I should have seen what was going to happen next, but i had used them in the past AND they were the ones that installed the unit, so I decided to stay on "the list".

So Wednesday rolls around and no word, so I call around 2:04pm to see when to be available next.

This time I was told it would be next week sometime!?

Again, I spent many years in the service industry (heat and ac) so I am familiar with the system of answering calls in times of a great outage.

I took an opportunity to contact a few friends in the industry, and to my dismay I learned that even WHEN they happened to make it to my house to check WHAT THEY KNEW was an issue with my tankless hot water heater, I would have to wait possibly weeks to get it fixed.

See, it seems that so many people have had a problem with these tankless hot water heater's, that there is a back order, and there are none available when you need them.

This is a fact that Benjamin Franklin Plumbing had to be aware of, and had to have known would keep anyone who reported that particular issue, without hot water for many weeks after the service call.

When I called back to ask them about this, I was assured I was on the list, except this time I heard something unexpected.

I was told that due to AN INFLUX of calls the time in which a service tech would be available was increasing.?!?!

Wait, so I'm on a list to be answered in the order they were received, BUT an influx-of calls was somehow lengthening that?

I realized that my attempt to find out when I should be available for a service tech had become an opportunity to give me the run around.

Knowing my issue would not be fixed the day of my service call, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing seems to have disregarded the list knowing it would leave me and possibly others with the same issue without hot water or baths for weeks longer that it should have been.
