My water heater was not working properly
It kept turning off the water heater was only two years old, so I called and got the parts warranted from Rheem then I needed someone to install them so I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing all I needed for them was to install the thermostat valve. The guy quoted me $1000 to do it. This is a ridiculous price and was not going to pay $1000 for you to just install the part. If you want to get ripped off, call these guys. You just don't care about money.

This company mentions rats (rodents) and to call them if you hear them, yet they don't address rat issues. I called them because I have rats in the walls along the plumbing lines. They will come out and charge you just for showing up. Whether they can help you or not. They couldn't do anything for my situation since they don't address rodents. I definitely would not recommend this company just because of how they do business, and definitely would not recommend them if you do have a rodent issue with your plumbing. They are no good for it. My money wasted on nothing.

Rude, hatful service people! We had to throw them out of our house! The service rep lost his temper and yelled , cursed , so unfortunate that we called them, that goodness we found someone better the same day. The company did not respond to our complaint! They do not care!

$300 for literally a 5 minute job. What a rip off this place is! What would be the hourly charge for that? Answer: robbery. .

I am not happy with this company. They sent someone to look at a leak from our bathroom into a spare room. The plumber said it was a small opening where the shower head is and just to seal it and it would 99% fix it. That was not the issue and the leak continued. We called the next day to have them actually come fix the issue. They gave us a 3 day wait with no actual time frame either!

Straight rip offs ! Do not use this company in Mansfield . To top it off the guy who did the work had no idea what he was talking about .

I called for an estimate to have a new toilet installed. The rep said she needed to send someone out to do a service call for $69. I declined since there was no need for a diagnostic, just replacing a toilet. She convinced me that it was necessary and that she would waive the service fee. I asked if we needed to have the work done to waive the fee, and she said it would be waived regardless. The tech came out, looked at toilet and pulled up estimates for different types of toilets and installation fee. He charged my card $69. This is a very deceitful practice.

Yikes. Stay away. My sink was clogged. These guys have one mission - sell a new disposal to suckers. It's disgusting. My kids witnessed this too... he comes in, glances at the disposal, says "that is an OOoold unit!l". We had it replaced last year. Sign here! For what? That I showed up. Ok, you are here, but why is it $178? Because you need a new disposal unit. Ok, with all due respect, you have not checked it for the clog.
Here is where it got weird - he yanked the digital signing pad from my hands, said "I'm not doing this" and stormed out.
Benjamin Franklin, you had a guy come to my house and immediately try to charge me $178 for being there, and then force me to buy a new unit. I understand that you have to hire people and incentivise to make it worth their while, but rethink how you train your employees. I will never call you again.
