Greetings, I have been involved in the electrical since I graduated from The Citadel in 1995. I was born in Georgetown, South Carolina, and my family and I now make our home in Conway, South Carolina. I consider the entire Grand Strand region my home, even though it has transformed a lot since my childhood. Tony was amazing. He was prompt and thorough. Made the sink and toilet repair quickly even on a Saturday. Gave an estimate before he started the job. Highly recommend.

I had an appointment for a water filter to be put in my granite countertop. I told the person who takes the calls not to have guys come to my house unless they had a guy who could cut granite. It was notated in their system as I told them on two separate occasions, and it was confirmed. B.F. (Benjamin Franklin Plumbing) has a window they make you wait for them to show up of several hours. When they did show one guy showed up and he could not cut granite. He was told by his upper level manager to tell me about their $$$$ filter instead since he had a doctor's appt to go to. Instead of calling to say they didn't have a guy available to cut the granite and reschedule me like they should have, a guy shows up wasting my time pitching me on something I had already turned down at a prior appointment when they came out to my house to tell me about their water filters. This was irritating since it wasted my day. But if that wasn't bad enough I then called B.F. and explained what happened. They knew it was stated in their system I said not to send a guy out unless he could cut granite and I asked to speak to the guy who left for the doctor and told his employee (partner) to go to my house anyway. He called me and never apologized for wasting my time, just said it was a miscommunication, which it was not. When I tried to speak he just kept on talking (NY accent) and never let me making me more angry that he wasn't even sorry. When I told him I was upset, and had every right to be at this point, he still didn't listen and no apology came. Their business cards state that """"If there's any delay, it's you we pay!""""... Yet, when I asked what they were going to do to compensate me for my time and the fact they delayed the job they were to do that day, they gave me no reply. I left a message to have the boss of the rude employee call me, and nobody ever did. I would never use this company now as a result of my first experience with them. The very rude employee who wasted my time and was completely disrespectful is part of management which means I won't be doing business with B.F. MB. To contrast, the employee sent out was nice. But they all knew he couldn't do the job he was sent to do! Yet, they sent him anyway and let him be the one to tell me when he got to my house that he couldn't do the job! I feel sorry for that guy. He's too nice to work for this company. Poor business management. B.F. MB lost my business for LIFE.

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. CHARGED ME $45 MORE THAN THE ESTIMATE. They were twice as costly as my highest estimate, but had a water leak and it couldn't wait any longer to schedule the prior estimates. Job got done, VERY EXPENSIVE, will not call them again.

Excellent response from the office and expert, caring service from Ivan Kurtz, the tech who serviced my water heater. He made sure to explain everything to me and will be back to replace my unit on Monday after one of the major parts comes in. Highly recommend this company!

I had Mr. Sparky (Brad Gehrman) come to my hone as part of a first floor renovation. They moved several ceiling can lights and installed several new light fixtures. I also had them replace an underground cable for my landscaping lights. They came on time and stayed with the job until it was done. They also cleaned up after they were done and they did it all for a reasonable price. Great job all around. Highly recommend them to all.

Today, Brad and Nick from Mr. Sparky of Myrtle Beach came to our home to look at and analyze some of our electrical issues, and they provided quotes to replace four outdoor and three indoor lights. The pricing was reasonable, so we agreed to have them proceed with the jobs. Several of the light replacements included some baffling technical issues, but the problems were solved with little effort and no additional capital outlay. The work was completed in less than four hours. In summary, these gentlemen did a wonderful job for us, and we are appreciative of their efficient and effective efforts on our behalf. Se intend to use Mr. Sparky in the April time frame to install a new standby generator system. Roxanne and Dumont Henderson Conway, SC

I recently moved into a new home and had them do some major work. They did an excellent job, but they look for ways to increase the bill by suggesting things they think I need at the time (i.e. like new smoke alarms.) They are very expensive and I probably could have found a more affordable company if I had more time to shop around. My mistake. I have found a more affordable electrician locally.

I called Mr. Sparky on a Sunday afternoon with an emergency electrical issue. After explaining the issue the tech told me it was a really easy fix and would walk me through it over the phone instead of charging me a fee to come fix it. He had the issue straightened out in under 5 minutes. Now a days it's hard to find a reputable business that will try and help you out instead of just charging you. Overall great experience. I would recommend.

OK I asked for an appointment between 3-5 pm was told would get a call 1/2 hr before they come. I also asked not to come between 2-3. so what happens I get the call at 1:30pm. then since the Mobil home is old and didn't have a box for the cealing fan he could not put the new one in. Didn't cost me anything but a waste of time. Told me to get a handyman to do it. Will NEVER call them again Up Date.... got handy man...cost 40 dollars to install cealing fan and switch.Even found what Sparky said would cost 85 dollars on top of installation of fan. the switch was bad and handyman could tell by trying to turn on and off. Sparky is a total RIP OFF. GET A HANDYMAN.

we needed 220 V wiring added. the two guys who came out were friendly and knew what they were doing. two hours later the entire line was run. they are expensive though. get a second quote. they will travel to oak island and wilmington!!! we also had them get rid of our fluorescent lights for LED lights. i watched the guy, and it was a tough job. it was well done, but again, expensive. get a second quote.
