My hot water heater died. I had inbound house guests, an unhappy spouse and no idea what the problem was. I called Colleen at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and everything got better.

She was able to fit us into their schedule, dispatched a skilled plumber and kept us advised on status all the way. The plumber was very professional, very congenial and very skilled. He diagnosed and repaired the problem in short order, explained everything to us along the way and we had hot water before he left.

Great service and great skill at a reasonable price. These folks are wonderful.

Don't know about their service but they are definitely overpriced (you lose 3 starts for that). I got a quote for a kitchen faucet replacement (took a 59 dollar hit for that). The guy told my poor mother her recently bought faucet was crappy and wanted to charge her 245 dollars + some parts. I told her not to do it and went to Lowe's, bought a 70 dollar Moen faucet (took benjamins advice on that) and found out that Lowe's installs it for 150. I thought free was better so I did it myself. I have ZERO experience in plumbing. Those new faucets are basically plug n play. Do your research before paying 240 for a faucet replacement

Horrible Service! We had a malfunctioning water heater and couldn't get an appointment for a week. They then called and changed the appointment for another five days. After the plumber finally came and concluded that he needed to order a new part we waited another week. No one came and no one called. We had to call them. The manager promised the plumber would be there some time the next week. No one ever showed up or even called to say they weren't coming.

I requested a quote for some plumbing remodeling and after they came out to assess my request I called a number of times over a couple of weeks to get an answer and was put off over an over. When I finally received the quote it was with snail mail and I was already well into the project with another co. It is a shame that they took so long, the quote was within the range I expected and they may have gotten the job if they had responded in anything resembling a reasonable amount of time.

i was charged $2159 to replace 50 gallon water heater..... the cost of heater is approx $600.... I had to pay as i live in CA...... Rip-offed ? you decide

First of all they told me they would call before the tech came out. They called the night before saying they needed to reschedule me, that they would call me again before the tech arrived. They never called!

So Rich parked in my driveway and blocked my guest in. My guest couldn't leave until after the truck moved out of the way.

Then Rich refused to explain the situation to my boyfriend at the same time he spoke to me. I told him to wait, but he just kept on talking.

I donated over $400 to this company for their fast-talking sales spiel! I gave them a low score on their review and a rep called me saying the work is under warranty. Well how are you going to fix something that I already fixed with a bottle of bleach? Rich did NOTHING to alleviate the problem, NOTHING! The day after he was at my house the drain was still as clogged as before he came! And you charged me over $400 for this?!

This place is a rip off! Unless you're a man and know about plumbing, stay very far away from this company, very far!

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has been my plumber for over 10 years now. They are simply WONDERFUL!!

Over the years, I have found that they are experienced and thorough. They have never tried to up-sell me on anything I didn't need and they always provided me with an honest assessment of my plumbing problems. When they are able to, they've provided me with options, taking the time to explain everything clearly. On top of that, they are also extremely professional, courteous and more than fair with their prices. In fact, whenever they can cut me a break in their prices, they do. And their plumbers are always very careful to cover their shoes when they enter my home...I LOVE THAT!

I am so thankful to have found Jim and his crew at Ben Franklin Plumbing!

Before finding Ben Franklin Plumbing, I had horrible experiences with plumbers who left me with installations that were out of code (besides other problems), overcharged me, and kept finding ways to charge me for more work.

Nowadays, it's really tough to find respectable contractors who know what they're doing and treat you right. After being burned, I find it difficult to trust most contractors. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing has definitely earned my trust - they are my saviors!!
