Some time ago I called to have a shower faucet repaired. They scheduled a day or two out which isn't ideal with a leaking shower faucet but I was ok with that. Appointment was 4-5pm. Guy called at about 5:05 and said he would be there by 6. I left work early to be there by 4 mind you. 6 pm comes around.. nothing. He calls again at 6:15 and says he is just finishing up and will be there in about a half hour. Frustrating.. not even as much him being late as just not having enough courtesy to tell me BEFORE the time he said he would be there, but fine, I just want it done. I wait.. nothing. 7:30 comes around and he finally shows up at my door. He takes about 15 minutes to fix it, not too bad. Then he starts writing it up and has the nerve to make the remark of ""Well, it didn't take too long so I'm not going to charge you overtime (or whatever term they use) charges for being out here so late"". Really! So $250 for that 15 minute call that you were 3 hours late to and you're going to try to make me feel special by not charging me extra for it? Why thank you! Not. Needless to say, this whole ""we will pay you if we are late"" thing is far from true. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

My experience with Ben Franklin Plumbing was outstanding, and no money exchanged hands! I scheduled to have an older valve replaced on a shower that backs up to a vanity. The plumber Tim arrived and informed me that the shower backs right into a stud at an odd place in the wall where a bedroom closet/vanity cabinet/air chase meet. He could replace the valve but would have to do a workaround using a different trim and cutting into the marble of the shower. When I told Tim we plan to remodel the bathroom and replace the whole vanity eventually, he suggested I wait until we do that work to get the shower valve replaced. That way, they could ""do it the right way"" with less cost to me. His honest assessment of the current repair (i.e., buying the extra trim part, paying for more labor to cut the marble, mess of cutting the marble) was impressive to me. Trustworthy repairpeople are so valuable! When we are ready for our major remodeling, I will hire Ben Franklin Plumbing without hesitation.

My kitchen sink started back up Sunday evening. My husband took off the pipes, cleaned it out and snaked the wall pipe. It didn't work. We tried the homemade baking soda, vinegar and hot water, it didn't do the trick. Starting Monday morning, I got on the phone and called 4 different handyman services, plumbers. Make more calls on Tuesday, no one can come the same day. I finally got a few calls back out of the many calls made, one showed up, quoted a ridiculous amount for snaking a pipe, another show up, snaked the pipe and it didn't work. I read Amber O's review on this company and called Wednesday afternoon, 3 hours later Jeff was the service person that snaked the pipe, got it working in less than half an hour. Jeff was also helpful in telling me where to get the pipe cleaner for routine cleaning to avoid backing up. This company is responsive when others failed to be available. The price is a lot better than what I was quoted from Eco Plumbing, highly rated here. Roto Rooter would not quote a job until they show up which I ended up canceling the appointment. Got my kitchen back! Thank you! Took me 3 days to find them but I will definitely store their contact for future jobs.

I called in at 6, Tim was out here at 8, done by 8:30. He delivered at the quoted price, and beat the other company I had out here by $120.

I'm incredibly impressed with their service and will not hesitate to call them again.

We purchased a 60's house in Grove City and the previous owner was a DIY disaster. Ben Franklin has solved several problems for us over these first 2 years of ownership including a complete replacement of our sump pump. Several times we needed our drainage line snaked, cleaned and chunks of the pipe replaced (thank you previous owner for planting ivy that invades our drains right on top of the main drain to the street). The removed a kids toy stuck in the tub pipe. And a major toilet leak fix. I'm surprised they don't have our name and address memorized.

I always double check rates for things we have done and Ben Franklin is always reasonable, especially when you calculate in their pleasantness, knowledge, and ability to arrive so quickly without fail. They also guarantee their work, but we've never had to ask them to come back to repair anything they've done.

pipes froze over night and they came out the very next morning right on time, the scheduler was very personable. tech was kind and knowledgeable and solved my problem very quickly! will definitely use the next time i have a problem!!

Very honest and respectable team. I used home advisor to look for water heater replacement contractors. Tim called right away and was not pushy, gave me the facts and a very reasonable price estimate for the job. They were on time, friendly and even recommended other repairs for potential problems without trying to scare us into fixing it. We have worked with several previous teams but Tim and his team were very comforting and did a great job and explained everything. Definitely be using his team for further repairs in the future! And they didn't add on charges when they got here!

I called and made an appointment for the next day, the scheduler was thorough and the plumber showed up on time and made much needed repairs quickly.

The bill was on target with my over the phone estimate. If I were to need a plumber, this location and company would be my go-to.

Basement started flooding in the middle of the night. Wasted time dealing with a 24 hour plumbing service in Hilliard who never showed or called back! Opted to then try Ben Franklin Plumbing...Grove City. Called around 3:40am and Tim Lott showed up less than an hour later. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the sump pump and almost as quickly had it changed out! Due to his quick service, we were able to mop up all standing water out of our basement within 2 hours after he left. Also, the price was very reasonable, in my opinion, seeing as how this was an emergency call at 4 AM on a Sunday morning!!!

By the way, the first place that we tried called back over 6 hours later to see if we still wanted service!!! If we had waited for them our basement would have been under many inches of water by the time they would have showed up!!
