This company is nothing but a bunch of crooks. They charged me $316.00 for a part, readily available at Home Depot for $18.48. They didn't even used the entire repair kit and didn't install all of the parts. After 6 calls to the Franchise Owner, and a call to corporate HQ, I finally got a call back from a very snooty man, claiming to be the franchise owner, telling me his pricing was fair (see the quotes on prices above). I told him he was violating 3 different parts of their ""CODE OF ETHICS"" which is a farce. SO MUCH FOR 100% Satisfaction Guarantee- also in their code of ethics. By the way, I was also charged a $69.00 service fee, all told- $385.00 for a 15 minute job that was not complete!!!

Quick response. Arrived wearing a mask. But the quote I was given was absolutely ridiculous. They should be ashamed. $650 to replace a $9 sink strainer, and replace a faucet which I am supplying. I would give no stars if possible.

I had a leak in the wall behind the toilet in my master bath. The plumber from Ben Franklin came and opened the wall and said that he would have to go under the manufactured home to fix it. He did not mention what it might cost to go under the house. He came out after a while and said it was $655 to be under the house and then more money to fix the problem. It came out to $1309. Our contractor came to next day and said that we were gouged. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Be very careful if you have a manufactured home and ask a lot of questions before they do anything. We are seniors and disabled and feel that we were taken advantage of. If this has happened to you, I encourage you to let Yelp know.

This is the worst plumbing company we have ever used. Two guys c a me to house talked incessantly but did not fix the problem of a r unning toilet. Price was exorbitant. One guy came back a 2nd time and said he would have to order a part. That was a week ago and we havent heard from him since. Thinking of suing.

Do not trust this company! If you do have them come to inspect or maintain your AC/Heating or other appliances watch their every move! And don't buy into their ""Hero's maintenance free,"" program! It's not any maintenance at all!
Each time they come they will leave you a long list of expensive replacement parts for parts that are still working perfectly fine. They use scare tactics like ""Oh this $10,000 unit might last you another 6 months to a year! If you don't watch them carefully you will be lucky if anything continues to operate after they leave!
I watched the guy take a metal hard bristle brush and brush my motherboard to my ac with it... he claimed the motherboard was dirty but it looked clean to me. Metal brushes on a motherboard? Very questionable this company!

An outside faucet was leaking and would not shut off. Had the water company call to tell me we had a bill of 350.00 already. I called this company because they came after hours. It was 5.
He was nice and said he could rebuild the faucet. Now rebuilding a faucet seemed to me quite a job. Charged 385.00. Come to find out all rebuilding a faucet was just replacing the washers inside and out. Wasn't here over an hour. Wonder if because I am female and was home alone it cost so much. That was a lot of money for not much. I guess I didn't have much of a choice because of the amount of water we were losing but..........I think he knew that

I am a senior citizen, on a fixed income. My hot water heater pilot light went out on 12/21/17 and would not stay lit. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came out. First replacement part over $100 did not work so they were going to try the next part that would put my bill between $400 and $500. They said they could replace the water heater for over $1,700. They offered a 15% senior citizen discount. Since the repair on an eleven year old water heater was getting close to the $500.00 point, I had them replace the old one with a new hot water heater. (Because I did not get estimates from other companies, I feel I paid twice as much as I should have for the new hot water heater). I will not recommend them!!!!!

Great Service. Accolades to my Technician, Rodney Seates, He was prompt, knowledgeable, and got the job done!

Benjamin Franklin always calls ME to schedule my free maintenance and plumbing safety inspection. This time, they sent out Rodney Scates, and I'm very glad. Not that I have had bad service with them over the past 3 years that we've had a plan with them, but Rodney was patient with my questions, did a thorough inspection of all of the plumbing related facets of my home, made suggestions for repairs, but wasn't in the slightest pushy about it. He cleaned up after himself, and wore shoe protectors out of respect for my home's floors. I just can't say enough good about Rodney and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing on Copper Hill Dr. in Prescott Valley.

Peter from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Prescott Valley responded to my call and came for an after hours service on Friday. I had a clogged drain in my kitchen sink. At the time I called I made it clear that I didn't have an outside septic clean out so he would most likely have to use the snake in the 2"" PVC pipe under the sink. When he arrived he quickly looked under the sink then went room to room looking for more plumbing to peek at, opening cabinets and turning valves & fittings in the bathroom. Then he went outside & did a half dozen laps around my home looking for the septic clean out which I again said I didn't have. He decided to remove the skirting & go underneath to have a look. When he finally came indoors he told me what he found & what his recommendations were. He said that the pipe under my MH between my kitchen & bathroom needs to be replaced. He said it had developed a ""belly"" (a dip) and was going uphill to the main drain pipe & this was the cause of the clog. I asked him to just try to run the snake instead & he said he didn't have one. So, he proceeded to write up an estimate of all the repairs (9 of them) he said I needed soon. The total repairs came to a whopping $3,767 but would be discounted 15% if I sign up for a $10/mo. maintenance program. I was in shock. He never did try to clear the clogged drain. He left and I finally called another Plumber on Sunday (Dan D Plumbing) who came out within 3 hours. Dan ran a snake down the drain, flushed the pipe & had it all working again 30-40 minutes after he arrived. I asked him to look under my MH at this pipe so he crawled underneath. He reported to me that there are no visible pipes since they're inside the floor joists surrounded by insulation & covered with a vapor barrier. He had me run water through the line while he check for any leakage and there was none. Everything looked good. Dan only charged me $125, and on a Sunday! He'll be getting a glowing review from me. Peter, on the other hand, charged me $79 for nothing & doesn't even deserve the 1 star I gave him.
