We pay a yearly subscription to this company. This morning we woke up to no hot water. They said someone would be there by 5pm but they would call if earlier and not to be more than 15 minutes away. At 5:15 we called them...they said we will call you back. At 6pm we called them again...their plumbers don't work on Sunday and they best they can do is Tuesday afternoon. So on my husband's birthday we waited all day for someone who was never coming.

We had a flood in our kitchen/living room in the middle of the night. In the wee hours on the morning my hubby and I are on the phone to at least 3 other places that advertised 24/7 service and none were available for days. Ben Franklin Plumbing to the rescue. We could not have had better service. I would recommend them highly.

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing visited our home to performed work on our water heaters and humidifiers. Mark both educated us and provided repairs to the issues we were having. I've worked with this team in the past and have found Mark and his team extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Thank you to Mark and the rest of the team for their dedication and attention to detail.

The service provided by the technician was fine. He was efficient and business like. The costs we're extreme in my opinion. The tech attempted for 6 minutes to snake the line through the toilet. The cost for being unsuccessful was $149. He then removed the stool and snaked the line directly. That cost was another $257. Total cost = $406! The total time spent working on the toilet and writing up the bill was less than an hour. My previous plumber would have certainly been less than $200. I'm new to the area. Finding the right help is a process. I'd call Benjamin Franklin a swing and a miss. Live and learn.

My family just moved into a house about 2 weeks ago, and our drain suddenly began to leak. The leak was in our shower drain. But got worse very quickly, as all the water drained through the floor from the shower because of the leak. As the floor was wet, water began a leaking into our garage! Thankfully, our realtor took care to send a plumber over to check it out the following day.

When the plumber showed up, his mood immediately seemed agitated, as I showed him what the problem was with the shower.

He checked the shower to examine the problem before beginning his work. Our realtor gave him the okay to begin his work to the shower.

Moments later, there was a mix up between the realtor and the plumber, then causing the plumber to stop what progress he'd made.

He became upset, and left my home in the pictures attached. My family is left with no available showers to use, and the costly damage left from the plumber.

Thank you, I will never recommend this company to anyone again.

Way too expensive. A $25.00 part they wanted to charge me $258.00. He then left without putting my sink back together when I told him no. I would not recommend this company at all. When I told him the part he wanted to replace is only $25.00 retail at any local store. He said well our prices are what they are. Very unprofessional answer. Just wanted to add this plumber said the ring was shot. The new plumber took it all apart and showed me the ring. It was perfectly fine and just needed to be resealed and tightened. The total cost for the new plumber was $40.00. Nothing but the sealant needed replaced.

These plumbers are wonderful. They arrived when they said they would. Very professional looking-nice neat uniforms. The problem turned out to be minor. I was not charged-not even an evaluation fee. We will be using them again.

Please please please don't use this company. Worst customer service ever! My pilot light went out on my water heater and I needed to replace it. As soon as the technician got here, he wanted to up sell me to a membership. Then when he looked at my water heater, without even knowing what's wrong or looking at it tried to get me to buy a brand new one for 1500$ installed. Eventually he replaced the pilot light assembly, but he didn't make sure it worked before he left. I called the company back at 5 and they were ""unable to send a technician out"" that night to fix what they couldn't. They undercharged me for 20$ on the receipt and then called and tried getting their 20$ that I owed them. I told them I signed a receipt for a specific amount and that's what I was paying since it was their error. The next morning the same technician who didn't fix it the night before showed up with an attitude. I took him back downstairs and he told me he wouldn't be coming to my residence anymore unless I bought a new water heater and was having it installed by him. So as any person would do, I made a few explicit a statements towards him. He called his HQ, and they sent another technician out. The first tech installed the pilot light assembly wrong and wasn't allowing any air flow through to keep the pilot lit. The second tech was here for maybe 10 minutes and my problem was fixed. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service.

Avoid this business. They will bait and switch you for a quick buck.

Scheduled a ""free"" estimate on Thursday in a 6-8 PM time slot. About 6:45 the technician calls and says he is off the clock and will not be coming. Reschedules for Saturday, and when he comes, he looks at our leaky shower, says it's due to a bad seal/grout, charges me a $99 service fee and leaves. The guys were friendly enough, but I scheduled a free estimate and ended up paying $99 for literally nothing. They were honestly in the house for 5 minutes tops.

Stay away! They are overpriced and have bad customer service. They think they are a premium product, but are just the same as the cheaper options. They are high pressure and take advantage of situations.
