We called because of glugging sounds coming from our kitchen sink. My wife asked Noah to use the camera he said he could not (no reason specified). So, my wife asked him to snake the drain (the same one the owner of the company did a year ago) he said that's not the right going to the main. This man walked around the house and did absolutely nothing, outside of him saying what he could not do. and still charged us almost.
$200.00 FOR WHAT! This is the last time I'm wasting my time and hard-earned money with this company, furthermore I will be posting this rip off to every message board there is, I don't mind paying for services rendered. But this, hell no, this was just wrong.

We had a faucet that wasn't working. Richard came out the next day and told us we needed a new faucet and explained exactly why. Once we got the faucet, he was immediately out to install it. Upfront pricing, courteous service and a job well done. Couldn't ask for a better plumber! I highly recommend them.

Richard does an outstanding job- comprehensively explaining what he's doing and why. Their annual service contract is a good value if your system requires regular and preventive maintenance. Our water is from a deep well there is an in-line water softener system...

No rating. Estimator came by abs chatted for 30 minuets. Estimate took 10 minutes. Left. Never heard from him again. I called office 2 weeks later. Office told me he will get back to me. 5 months later, still nothing. Already had my basement fixed. Then I receive this ""How was my experience"" 7 month later. Really Benjamin Franklin? Your follow up is worse than your service. Please, lose my number, email and name. I deleted yours 7.5 months ago.
Thanks for your lousy service that I was able to get the job done quickly, at a good price and from a company that relies in a timely manner.

I have a contentious kitchen drain. The run is so long and too many right angles that do matter how careful we are about putting things down the drain. It's clogs.

Wow, Being out of state and getting this Ben Franklin plumbing to help my Mother in Hendersonville NC sure hurt. I just paid $199.00 for them to change a Fill Valve!!!!!!!!!! The tech mentioned he replaced the supply line with a shut off handle closer to where my Mother can reach was free!!!!!!!!. Trip charge, valve and tax, a whopping $264.74. Shop around, there has to be more honest people out there. No upfront pricing, so your stuck with a huge bill. OUCH!!!!!!

I hired this company to repair a leak in my kitchen, and also fix a corroded hot water tank's pipe that had been identified during my home inspection prior to my purchasing my Asheville town home. Two plumbers, a father and son, arrived and immediately encouraged me to pay $100 to join the ""Benjamin Franklin Society."" They said I would receive a free detailed plumbing inspection of my entire town home, and also get a 25% discount on all repairs. Stupidly I agreed. They went upstairs, and I made the mistake of mentioning that the upstairs shower had never been used since I'd bought my town home a few months earlier. The older plumber told me the shower drain pipe was ""incorrectly installed,"" and that if I turned on the shower's water, it would flood my entire house. I asked him what, exactly was wrong with the shower drain--but he just became extremely hostile. ""You wanna flood your house, lady? Then go ahead and turn it on!"" He gave a bid of over $4000 to repair it. (!!!!!) I then called the owner of the company, Philip Muniz, and asked him to please explain what, exactly, was wrong with the shower drain pipe. But he, too, just became extremely hostile. He said he'd looked at the pictures taken by his plumber, and he agreed the work was needed. He also said almost word for word what the other plumber had said. ""Go ahead and flood your house, lady!""
-- I then called Blue Planet Plumbing to get a second opinion. (Plus, the hot water heater tank had never been fixed.) A lovely young man named Cory came, went upstairs, and turned on the shower. ""There's NOTHING wrong with it,"" he said.
-- As far as I'm concerned, the employees at Benjamin Franklin Plumbers are engaging in theft by deception. They probably just saw an older, single woman, and tried to con me out of THOUSANDS of dollars. Even the owner of the company participated in the scam. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
