We were so impressed by the tech that came out. Cristi Guias is a very good guy. He explained everything, took the time to demonstrate how my system was functioning, and answered all my questions. He went above any beyond to put my concerns to rest and it was a great experience.

We have had the maintenance membership for several years after it was recommended to us my our neighbors who also had the same membership. We have never had any issue that wasn't quickly and professionally resolved. We're very satisfied with the value we get from the membership and how thoroughly they inspect and maintain every part of our system. Highly recommend BF plumbing.

Five stars for John T, the plumber who did the work - he was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. Zero stars for Ben Franklin's horrendous charges - almost $1,000 for less than 4 hours of work. Based on our experience, Swan and Mr. Rooter are just as competent and MUCH cheaper + they don't charge an up-front $50 initial visit fee.

I would leave less stars if possible. They were hired by my property management company to come out and fix a leak to an outdoor faucet. The tech that showed up was rude and unprofessional asking questions and not waiting for the answer. He made it seem like I was bothering him for having him come out to fix a leak. Then he didn't do anything but sit in his truck for 15 minutes stating he needed to get approval from the property management company to fix the leak, keep in mind, they hired him to fix the leak. Then told me he couldn't get in touch with anyone and that he wouldn't be fixing the leak and drove off. I highly recommend going with another company if you have a choice. I ended up fixing the leak myself, that you You Tube!

UPDATE: I just wanted to give a small update to my review. Aaron the Operations Manager reached out to me privately. He listened to my side of the story and agreed that since the clog was not fixed they would refund me the full amount. They were able to have the refund to me by the next businesses day. He was very professional and had great customer service. Thank you Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for listening and making this right.

This review is for Tony Martinez, Alex Baca, and Riley Hamilton-- best plumbers I've ever used. I had an emergency gas leak in my house that turned into 8 total, it was a mess and stressful bc I don't live there but all three of them communicated so well with me, constant updates which I so appreciated, they all were so nice and explained things in a way that I could understand, didn't make me feel stupid. Honestly just so pleased with their professionalism and compassion. Amazing guys, will use them again no question!!!

NEVER AGAIN Been paying on the VIP service agreement for several years. Boiler went out at house no hot water or heat. Called 12/21 informed tech would be out Monday.
Shared not acceptable tech came out that evening. Inspection indicated transformer bad cost 198.00 for inspection call. But may need a new Boiler for 18-20k. Part needed to be ordered came back out on 12/23 installed Transformer then tech shared Mother board out...needed to be ordered. Cost for this call 1,234.00. Boiler 6 years old. Searched transformer part price on internet and found same exact part $13.71.
Tech estimated price for mother board replacement 3000 to 3500. Needed to check with suppliers on availability. I found needed part on line immediate availability 456.01! Tech called 12/24 located needed part can have it by Friday 12/27 and since we have been through alot offer to do the work for 2500.00. I shared my findings (sent screen shot of part and price) and was then told to go ahead and get the part and install myself. This whole time no hot water no heat through the holidays with family staying with us. Now they did offer space heaters. Tech was nice enough but obviously lacked the expertise to properly diagnose the problem. BUT NEVER AGAIN Beware of these predators.

Called another company immediately diagnosed the issue as a test switch internally cost for visit 150.00. And this technician was able to use a 2 cent jump wire to get the boiler functioning until they could come back out and complete the repair. Lesson learned

If you don't mind this charge for MISCELLANOUS, go for it. My basic bill was $1800. When they added miscellaneous of $6000, it became $7800. I didn't know there would be a $6000 MISCELLANEOUS charge of $6000.

So what happened is, I had a leak in an overhead pipe in my basement laundry room. I wasn't sure exactly where the leak was and it would've been hard for me to get to. I contacted Benjamin Franklin plumbing and was greeted politely. The young lady took my information and scheduled a four hour window for my technician to contact me and do the job. Shortly after, the technician Tony Martinez said that he would be over within the half hour and he was. I showed him the leak area and he promptly repaired the leak and inspected for any other leaks/damage.

When the job is complete he buttoned up the crawlspace and cleaned up the area. We finalized all paperwork and I received great pricing considering. I would definitely use Benjamin Franklin plumbing in the future. I would also recommend them as well.
