NEVER AGAIN Been paying on the VIP service agreement for several years. Boiler went out at house no hot water or heat. Called 12/21 informed tech would be out Monday.
Shared not acceptable tech came out that evening. Inspection indicated transformer bad cost 198.00 for inspection call. But may need a new Boiler for 18-20k. Part needed to be ordered came back out on 12/23 installed Transformer then tech shared Mother board out...needed to be ordered. Cost for this call 1,234.00. Boiler 6 years old. Searched transformer part price on internet and found same exact part $13.71.
Tech estimated price for mother board replacement 3000 to 3500. Needed to check with suppliers on availability. I found needed part on line immediate availability 456.01! Tech called 12/24 located needed part can have it by Friday 12/27 and since we have been through alot offer to do the work for 2500.00. I shared my findings (sent screen shot of part and price) and was then told to go ahead and get the part and install myself. This whole time no hot water no heat through the holidays with family staying with us. Now they did offer space heaters. Tech was nice enough but obviously lacked the expertise to properly diagnose the problem. BUT NEVER AGAIN Beware of these predators.

Called another company immediately diagnosed the issue as a test switch internally cost for visit 150.00. And this technician was able to use a 2 cent jump wire to get the boiler functioning until they could come back out and complete the repair. Lesson learned

If you don't mind this charge for MISCELLANOUS, go for it. My basic bill was $1800. When they added miscellaneous of $6000, it became $7800. I didn't know there would be a $6000 MISCELLANEOUS charge of $6000.

So what happened is, I had a leak in an overhead pipe in my basement laundry room. I wasn't sure exactly where the leak was and it would've been hard for me to get to. I contacted Benjamin Franklin plumbing and was greeted politely. The young lady took my information and scheduled a four hour window for my technician to contact me and do the job. Shortly after, the technician Tony Martinez said that he would be over within the half hour and he was. I showed him the leak area and he promptly repaired the leak and inspected for any other leaks/damage.

When the job is complete he buttoned up the crawlspace and cleaned up the area. We finalized all paperwork and I received great pricing considering. I would definitely use Benjamin Franklin plumbing in the future. I would also recommend them as well.

I requested a quote to get my sewer pipes fixed and they set me up with an appointment over the phone and DID NOT inform me there would be a fee of any kind! So when they arrived my husband was here (and not me) and they charged him $50 on the spot before looking and giving an estimate! I have contacted the Denver office 'several' times now to inform them of this charge and they keep telling me they see the notes in the system, and this message has gone to accounting and someone will get right back to me! YEAH RIGHT- LIARS!!! It's been over a month now and NOT ONE PHONE CALL BACK!!!
If this is the way the company runs it's business, I WOULD RECOMMEND TO RUN AWAY as fast as you can from them!!!

Charged my mother $300 to replace to replace a valve that took 10 minutes to do... were to service her swamp cooler for free but then charged her $79 to come out. Do not use them.

This company is a RIPOFF. I cancelled a monthly service fee over a year ago. I moved from that address. They have continuously billed me every month! I have tried to cancel for months now and no one will return my call from billing! Please have someone call me!

This is the best plumbing company I have ever worked with! I'm moving from Denver to New Jersey and am sad I can't take them with me. They have done a number of jobs at my rental property from rerouting an exterior pipe, installing a new shower drain, new hot water heater, and new pressure regulator valve from the mainline into the house. I don't know how they work so fast but no matter how big the project is they are almost always able to get it started and finished within 1-2 days. Cristi Guias is the specific plumber that I usually work with and he's great!

I had a leaky faucet in the bathtub. The plumber quoted me $1600.00 to replace the cartridge in the faucet. It seems high. I paid him for the service call, which he insisted on a check...Curious I thought. I paid him and he left without turn the water back on. When I turned the water back on, the pipe he had worked on burst and I had waterfalls in the kitchen and into the basement.

I called BF 3 times and NO ONE ever returned my call. I have $20,000 worth of damage thanks to Ben Franklin.

In addition, I called another plumber and he fixed it for HALF the price.

We just moved into a new home and upon closing we found that the washer hoses were solidly stuck onto the pipes.

We went through Thumbtack app to find local services to take a look. First place we found was Ben Franklin. Was easy to get them to come take a look but the service man was very cold and unhelpful. Took a very brief look and gave us an estimate of over $1k.

We thought that was suspect, so we went with another company who within five minutes removed the hose and told us we were good to go.

It bothers me that someone was able to fix this issue for $75, while they wanted to charge us 1500 for work that didn't even have to be done.

Be wary when using them.
