I cannot believe the poor reviews this company has. I used them for an issue with my hot water heater. The girls in the office were friendly and talked me off my anxiety cliff. PJ was awesome and showed me exactly what was going on. Gave me different options to fix my issues with no pressure. Service was prompt and done well. I was very pleased with the company. Strange how experiences differ.

The people who work in the field are reliable and knowledgeable. But trying to get permits and inspections (that they charged us for) was near impossible. Their negligence almost cost me losing the buyer for my parents home.

Needed a new flush valve with flapper. I went ahead and bought the part and was going to DIY it. I ran into a problem and needed a special tool that I didn't have. I called Ben Franklin Plumbing in Pleasantville. The location was a fancy call center dispatching Mr. Sparky, Ben Franklin Plumbing and a HVAC company. The last time I called a call center, it was a roofing company, with a similar horror story.
A man named PJ came to the house wearing a fancy white uniform. I told him I wanted a new flush valve. I fell on the floor when he told me the price: a whopping $400!! I incredulously told him I could buy a brand new toilet for that price! He didn't care. He went through the motions of asking a Supervisor by phone if he could lower the price. Not surprised, the Supervisor said no. I was very agitated and told PJ to leave. He then tried to charge $60 for the trip charge. I balked at this second indignation and he finally waived the trip charge. Curiously, he told me to call his friend, the owner of a competitive business who he didn't even work for.
Do yourself a favor and never call this blatant rip-off company. Their greedy pitch works with some people, but don't become a victim of this slick, greedy grifter company.

Made an appointment with them weeks ago for our condo in Atlantic City, NJ. Wanted a hot tube removed and a stall shower installed. Told them it was a condo and that I would have to come up from Maryland. Took several days off and drove 3 1/2 hours. When I got there I got a call from a kid saying they don't work on condos. No apology, no consideration, no class, not reliable. The guy who made the appointment was too much of a coward to call me himself. Total waste of my time and money. Absolutely irresponsible.

Called them for a sewer clog, He was not clear at the beginning about cost, told us they would snake and send cam down pipe, clean out was outside and very accessible, was about 20 feet to street, cleared pipe in 20 minutes, charged us 575.00, this is way over the standard cost from past experiences at other locations. Then he gives me a super inflated cost to tear up and replace the line as he said it has a belly in it. I then come to find out they have a coupon posted for a free video inspection. I will not ever use or recommend them for anything.

Mike Z is an amazing plumber who also coordinated HVAC work and renovations due to a leak. He was professional and courteous.
Jennifer from the office, always answered the phone politely and scheduled all the repairs quickly. We were well pleased,
