Poor service for sure. Plumber took two days to TRY to fix a bathtub leak. First attempt he tried to fix the leak by applying epoxy around the drain piece leaving gaps between the drain and the tub, that didnt work. The second day he tried a silicone sealant and that didn't work either. I basically paid over $250 for nothing.

Benjamin Franklin came out to look at a clogged drain/sewer pipe and we requested they quote replacing the faucets on 2 outside faucets while they were here. They came out, said they would have to have another company contact us for the clogged pipe (which is what they were coming out for!) and then quoted $458 for replacing the 2 faucets. We already had a quote for $110 service call and $17 for the faucets so this was $300 more! Then they charged $79 for the service call. Their invoice has no phone number or address on it. An email was sent to the address found on the last page in small type and it came back as undeliverable. I would strongly advise you look for a different company!!

Finally a plumber came on Thursday 3 Nov and spent 2-3 hours here trying to fix the leak to no avail. He called the original installation guy who tried to say that the leak was not his fault and told me that he would come on Friday 4 Nov. He did not show up. I finally had to get my son in law to come and fix the leak which the Ben Franklin Company should have fixed. I will never use them and I highly recommend that you don't use them either.

I get a friendly person on the phone. She explains pricing structure, etc and gets the service appointment all set up at a very convenient time. I hang up happy. A few minutes later, I get a call from a """"manager"""" who tells me """"we don't service your area anymore (Davenport)"""". Thanks for wasting my time. Just like my review of Rick Moore plumbing, the yellow page ad (from the 2017-2018 edition) states """"Servicing All of Polk County"""". Misleading and dishonest - probably good indicators I don't need to be doing business with you anyway.
