NEVER call these people. They wanted $400 to install my toilet. Just the install price. I don't know how they sleep at night.

Would not recommend. Charged me $400 to basically tell me I had a leak. Found a reputable leak specialist and repairs cost $700 total to repair. This company quoted me thousands.

My tenant stated that the toilets and washing machine were flooding so I called Benjamin Plumbing. They responded quickly and the service was great. It is the pricing that I am concerned about. The plumber stated that everything was OK and not to worry. He stated that I could pay $150 plus the $29 service fee or I could sign up for the annual maintenance program of $99 plus the service fee. Of course I signed up for the cheaper of the two. After thinking about it for a day, I thought it was a ripe of to be charged over $100 for nothing to be wrong. I cancelled the program and the incident only cost me $29 then. Every one I talked to was super friendly, nice and got me my refund with no issue. I just don't know why I was forced to sign up for their program or why it was over $100 for nothing to be wrong. I feel like the plumber took advantage of me financially. I will not return as a customer. I don't trust this company anymore.

Echo the other reviews of the worst plumbing service ever encountered. Price gouging, horrible customer service line, and inconsistent work product. Here is the kicker though - they claim to pay you $5 per min they are late. So, the first time they were supposed to arrive between 5-8pm, never show up. I call them up and tell them and they say take it up with the plumber who came out and we got him to honor their pay if late policy. $300 dollars off the bill but since they charge ridiculous prices, it still probably was not as reasonable as another plumber. Plus, the work was sub-standard - I now am waiting for them to come out and fix a leak from the work they did. Regardless, avoid - there are better, more reasonable, more courteous firms out there.

We had Ben Franklin Plumbing out to the house in central Texas to fix an issue. They charged an outrageous amount for the job and it didn't fix the issue. None of my family are pleased with their work. The tech was polite and I appreciate that, however I don't appreciate the arm & leg they charged us. They waited a month and a half to cash the check as well which doesn't make sense to me at all. We will never ever use them again. Don't use Ben Franklin Plumbing if you don't have to!!!!

This place is horrible. Had them come out last week to install garbage disposal, hook up water and dishwasher. The total cost for this service was estimated at $1700. I was sicken by this price!!! I decided to call another plumber to get another quote. Ended up paying 357. This place is a rip off.

Looks like Jean M. Is a flat out liar too. All you calls are up on my site. So cut the BS. You have answered none of my questions. So here it is again. Why did you take my toilet out to clear a clog in the main? I showed you the cleanout. You opened the cleanout and then removed my toilet. Why did you say you put in a new flange when you didn't. Why did you take my working toilet to the dump? Why do you charge $514 for a $10 flange? Why charge $600 for a $235 toilet? Why didn't you clean up after yourselves. Why charge $515 to clear a main when last time it cost $335? Post your answers here for all to see. The answer to all these questions is simple. Your a bunch of thieves. Don't call me again. I have no desire to talk with liars. And don't for one minute think I'm gonna let this go. I'm just getting started!

Called them to do a job. Tech came by charged $137 and told us plumbing leak in our foundation also we should change our pipes from copper to pvc. Said it would cost $2000 to fix problem but suggested $5000 to fix all pipe under home. Called another plumbing and found out leak was from a outside sprinkler coming in through our concrete. This tech said get some sealant and problem solved. Did not even charge us. Also, our current piping was pvc and not copper. Only can say, Buyer Beware!!!

Called them around 8 am for an emergency call. They told me that it was available today until 5 pm and since it's and emergency the up charge is 139 dollars I gave them my credit card info and there goes the pending payment. It's 4pm and I haven't received an, email text call nothing. I call them and she has no idea when they will be here and there's no way to contact the plumber. Don't really know how their service is work wise but from what I experienced if you have an emergency this is not the company to go to. EMERGENCY?!! FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY
