Benjamin Franklin plumbing installed a water heater for me, everything went great. Afterwards, noticed air in my hot water faucet that wouldn't go away. They came out and replaced the expansion tank but unfortunately that was not the cause. At this point the issue is getting worse, but they will not return my phone calls. I speak to their office personnel who all state to forward my message to the manager. They do not believe in 100% satisfaction guaranteed like their ads say. Please reconsider before using this company.

I found my new plumbing company. I can't speak for everyone; however, Forrest from Benjamin Franklin the Punctual Plumber, was good-natured and professional. I didn't actually need his services for this service call (my valves were in good condition); however, I do plan on using him for my future plumbing projects, and will definitely recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing as a company.

The technician was one hour late, charged me $39 service fee, even though they say they will pay you if you are waiting on them. He gave me an estimate of $2250.00 for less than half day work and I had the plumbing fixtures. I called Martin&son a they charged me $480 for four hours labor and $100 in parts. I would given them ZERO STAR IF I HAD A CHOICE.

If you possibly can, shop around. Though the technician was very good and the job was well done, the pricing was outrageous. The price for installing a $750 well pump is $1750? It took less than an hour. Either the labor cost is through the roof or the markup on the part is....maybe both. A $750 part doesn't become more valuable because you got it from ""your supplier.""
Unfortunately, most plumbing issues require immediate attention, so you're left without options.

My toilet was blocked and I called B F P. They were prompt in coming out. They had to snake the toilet and charged me 328 dollars for 30 minutes work.
I thought they were a bit expensive for a non emergency situation.

It was a bait and switch from the very beginning.
They said a man would give me a quote snd the service charge would not be charged. I was charged and when I asked why the man said the office will call you. Well it's been a week. Plus the man wore a mask but didn't stay 6 ft away. No matter how many time's I backed away he just kept getting closer! We're up to 300,000 a day being infected stay away and wear a mask!

Before I bash them for what they did I can first compliment them on the actual job. I had a cracked pipe that I needed replaced, they came out, found the problem and then fixed the problem. Cool, not here's where the 2 stars come in at. As the job was continuing he was basically going off prices in his head I'm not sure exactly if I was getting normal prices or prices with ""employee tax"" on top of it. ALSO as he was working on the job he had cut a wire to my light switch and then tried to say it had gotten damaged from the leakage. I recently had the light get fixed thinking I needed the entire box replaced when in reality he had cut the wire.

Vince Schinchirimini was AMAZING!!!. He completed 4 jobs at our home in Elkton, MD. He repaired a leaking toilet - which was the original reason why we needed him to come out. But additionally, he replaced a spill valve, a faucet AND a bathroom sink. I cannot speak highly enough for his professionalism, courtesy and timeliness with his repair. Not only did he do all of this work for me, BUT he also cleaned everything. When he was done his work, he put things back from where he moved them in order to complete his work. As long as he is working for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, I will continue to use the company. Thank You So Much Vince on behalf of the Reardon/Dorsett household.

Don't bother calling this company. Trying to get an appointment is a joke. Called on a Sunday morning and was told they were busy and it would be around 4-5pm for someone to show which I was ok with. Then I get a call from some creep at 6pm who was 3 hours away and seemingly not from Ben Franklin telling me it would now be 10-11pm. The guy was extremely rude and pretty much told me to go pound sand. Find someone else who isn't part of a franchise like this outfit, They suck
