We requested a price quote on installing a magnetic shower head. A literal 10 minute job. They insisted on coming out. Once here they quoted a price quote of $202. They absolutely could have given that quote (which is way too high over the phone). This way they at least got a $49 service fee.

They tried to take advantage of my 76 year old mother.

Absolutely horrible company.

They've charged my elderly father way more than any legitimate plumbing service ($2,500 to preform a diagnostic test?!) Completely unacceptable!!!!

Our tub overflowed from using washing machine and kitchen sink.
Immediately called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and they were able to send someone out within a couple of hours, rather than wait 4 days till the plumber we've been using to get there.
Very prompt and thorough with his work. Very satisfied with the professional work in fixing our issue.
Go be them a call for your plumbing needs!!

Awesome!! Dakota rocked the house!! In a good way!! Give him a dang raise!! Fixed a leak the day after I called. Good luck with that with most other plumbing contractors around Hot Springs. Def will be using again. Thanks so much!!

Not a company I would recommend... plumbers do poor work and had to pay to have them come back to improve the connection work they did and charged me for.
Contractor came back I was in a meeting was not able to take the call since they stated I did not have to be there
Called back and Ms Kim Bowen stated I had an appointment and i didn't answer the phone so they didn't so the work.
I did get upset and tried to explain what the gentlemen told me and I am not able to just take calls when in a meeting and she said I can find another plumber which I will be very glad to do... I have not heard positive things about BF and now I see why....

I don't know why there are so many 5 stars for this company, unless they are rigging the system. simply put, they are WAY over priced. GREEDY company. Do your research first. I could have bought 3 water heaters at Lowe's or Home Depot's for the price of one of theirs. They said theirs is better and will last for 10 years with 6 year warranty, while they replaced mine from Lowe's that was 19 years old with no warranty and no problems! HA!!! I'm deflated with what I paid, just ridiculous.

Our first time calling Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a slow leak in the crawl space, we were given a time window of 3:00-5:00 same day on a Friday in late November. *Dakota* arrived after 3:00 with a truck full of everything he needed to fix the leak.
After assessing the problem he communicated in terms easy to understand what needed to be done and the likely cost. He finished the job rather quickly and then explained exactly what he did thoroughly.
He then shared that for only $35 more we could join their membership program and receive preferred jump-to-the-front of the line and discounted service! Hubby and I looked at each other and said YES.
Dakota was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. It was ""his"" service we bought into.
(I forgot to leave a review initially until today, in January, I saw a commercial for plumbing and thought of Dakota.)

My kitchen faucet was dripping badly. I purchase a new one and called Benjamin Franklin. I called at 9am and the repairman arrived promptly at 1pm as scheduled. He was courteous, and respectful of our home...wore booties over his shoes since it was raining. I appreciate that.

Calling Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was total waste of whole day for me.
We call this company to come to our property, which is an old house that has been divided into apartments, to replace a kitchen faucet, supply lines, and shut off valves. It's an easy job that I would normally do myself, but I did not have all the right tools with me since I live in Texas. The plumber came in and took a look at it, said he would get his tools, and then came back to tell me that he can't do the job because he was not told it's not a single-family home. We told the dispatcher that was the case when we made the appointment. I think the plumber just didn't want to mess with this job, even though it may have been a lot more work for their company. It was a total waste of my day. I have another company who sounds much more professional coming tomorrow.

Second time I've used Ben Franklin and was very pleased both times. A pipe leak shut down our water. Dakota arrived on time, checked everything out, told me what had to be done and what it would cost, and did the repairs quickly and professionally. Nice job. Thank you.
