Had to get a water heater installed and did it through them because they were the only one that had close availability. I was charged $1600 just for the installation. I provided the water softener. It was an electric softener being replaced, no new hook ups, no gas lines involved. Rip off central. Other plumbers I spoke with would have charged around $400. I am only giving two stars because fortunately years later the heater still works

I hired them to fix a broken toilet, and I was charged OVER 400 dollars. I could have bought a new one at that price! This is not the first time I've been dramatically over-charged by this company. They will take advantage of you! Find someone else to hire - you won't regret it.

They took advantage of my 79 year old mother. $950 for a couple hour visit? Three visits totaled up to over $2000 and the problem isn't fixed. They told us the problem is with the main under the road and that we should contact Summit county, which we did. The county found nothing and contacted the Ben Franklin who they say has not responded. Supposedly they didn't save the video to show what they found and without it, the county won't help. I'm taking this to the BBB next. They should be ashamed of their business practices.

I had to speak with them several times before I could get an estimate for a gas range installation, so much for 'upfront pricing'. The quote was obscene and I canceled the job.

When we moved into our new house, the water softener wasn't working and all of our toilets and fixtures were staining red from the iron in the well. We call Benjamin Franklin plumbing (on a Sunday) and the on-call tech called and spoke with us about the issue. We didn't feel it was an emergency so we elected to wait til the next day. They sent out Dwight and he was absolutely fantastic, he installed our new water softener and fixed the copper pipes running to the back of it (the old one was flooded because the pipes were backwards, courtesy of a home plumbing job by the previous owners. The pipes were soldered perfectly and that first shower afterwards was amazing because the water no longer smelled like iron!!!! He also explained to us regular maintenance and where salt levels should be. We have been in heaven since!

If I could give negative stars I would. The team that comes to the houses are great but they over sell everything for no reason and over charge the heck out of their customers. Then after they leave the manager will call and harass you if you leave a bad review. That's not professional. Treat the customer better and work with them. The point of a review is to warn people how a company acts. So if you can't even make a claim of what happened without getting harassed what's the point of calling theses people.

Called them for an emergency plumbing repair. The answering service took all my info and said someone would call to set up my call. Never got a response.

Do yourself a favor and call an more responsive plumber.

Rip Off - Highway Robbery!! Paid them $198 to show up on a Sunday (which I had agreed to ) and then they quoted another $650 just to fix a water pressure regulator ( twice the standard amount) I paid them and told them to leave. I then had it done within 2 hours by another plumber for $ 325 complete... Only call these guys if you want to hand over your bank account.. Terrible.......
