Negative stars if possible!!!! Had my main drain back up into the yard...they said they had fixed the problem. 2 days later it backed up into the yard again. 2 days, not 2 months etc. Charged me $619 for the service. Called to get them to come out and told me it would be another $619?! What do they think I'm doing this on purpose, right before Christmas?? Absolutely ridiculous...I recommend you find someone who will do it right the 1st time or at the very least take pride in there work and honor there services.

Ben Franklin plumbing scam- BF plumbing replaced 2 bath/shower shut off valves about 3 years ago. The new valves were Moen and I was told the product comes with a lifetime guarantee. Recently one of the valves became inoperable- stuck on. BF plumbing was called and came out in a timely fashion. The job was bid at $400. I thought that was high but it needed to get done as the water was shut off to the house. When handed the invoice it had a total described as ""parts and labor"" with taxed charged on the total amount and no part number- 2 points to be aware of- the initial Moen replacement was sold with a lifetime guarantee yet I was charged for parts. When asking about that charge I was told to call Moen for reimbursement which I did. Moen needed a part number but the invoice didn't have a part number, just stated ""parts & labor"". I called BF plumbing again and again for the part # with no response. Also, when parts and labor are lumped together tax is calculated on the total meaning you are paying sales tax on labor. The part was less that $20- I paid sales tax of 8.75% on labor of $380 or approximately $33 more when billed this way on an already inflated estimate. Finally I got a call from the tech that did the job. When asking once again about the tax on labor and the need for a part number, I was told I had to talk with his supervisor and guess what, after more attempts never got a call back. There a reputable plumbing companies out there- BF plumbing isn't one of them-

They were hired to put in a water filtration system and the plumber only brought one of the two filters needed. He left the job half completed and said that he would be back the next day to finish it.
Ten days later the job is still not done even though he was paid in full. The only number I get is to a call center where all I get is the run around. I am going to have file a complaint with the state contractors board to get a simple job done

We called Benjamin Franklin plumbing for a leak in our pipe in our upstairs master bathroom. That day, Luis came out and started to ""fix"" our shower, and right off the bat, he made a GIANT completely jagged and horrendous hole in our 8 month olds' room, as seen in the picture. He also made 2 huge holes in the ceiling of our garage that, come to find out weren't necessary. That night, we turn on our shower and the diverter was working incorrectly, and there were metal shards from the soldering all over our bath tub and floor. When he had left our house, I received a message saying Luis had clocked out of the job 2 hours before he had actually left, and when he did leave, he gave me a business card for his own SIDE job for plumbing, which I have come to find out is a big no-no. He also left his ladders, and a huge mess of drywall and rubble in our house and garage. Now, we were young homeowners, this is our first home. We don't know the first thing about plumbing, which is why we hired, what we thought, was a preofessional company. Luis worded his way around us and he ended up charging us under the table and having us buy our OWN hardware to finish the job. Which, yes I realize now, I shouldn't have been so blindly trustworthy or naive. But like I said, I was putting my trust into a professional company. The company then sent out their Field Supervisor, Jason, to correct the job. Jason was great. Professional, quick, and did the job right. He is the ONLY REASON this review deserves one star. Since his visit to correct what Luis had hacked, we were told by Tim that we would be getting issued a full refund for what Luis had done, and for our inconveniences DAYS before Christmas (this was going on for a WEEK). After not seeing it in the mail, I reached out to Tim and asked what may have been taking so long. I got a reply from him (after him telling me ""We have put in the paperwork to refund you the money he took from you. We hope to have that to you soon. My finance department is working on that for you now."" ((verbatim) saying that he reviewed my file and I was not fit to receive a refund, basically stating that it was MY FAULT for what HIS hack job employee had done!!!! He then followed that with telling me how grateful I should be for them extending a 2-year warranty to me for the work Jason did. In my opinion, that is what a company SHOULD do at the very least. His ""you're welcome"" attitude and his blatant unprofessionalism in back-tracking his words is appalling and completely disgusting.

First off if I could give negative review I would. It costed me 840 dollars to take off the toilet and unclog it. And charged me 350 for a wax ring. I tried to email them when they asked how the experience was, but couldn't reply to the email . So hopefully this catches your eye. The guy acted like it was super difficult taking off the toilet, and all this but all these big plumber companies, work off of commission so they try to up sale you all this crap, and make it look hard work when all he needed to do was use a jogger snake . I know this because the company who just came out charged me 200 dollars because it happened again in my house, and this company got a Barbie head out of my toilet by using a jogger snake recently. And when Benjamin and Franklin decided to have to take off the toilet etc I don't mind paying the money , but they are up saleing you stuff you don't need be careful !! And all In all I'm happy because I learned a lot about plumbing and sketching these big companies are how they rip you off and all the installers work off commission not salary or hourly only commission makes 100 percent sense now . Again your company is a joke and I recommend don't use them and end up paying a crazy amount like i did that another company did it for 200 and said taking off the toilet is complete unnecessary 9/10 times.

We had a tech come out and actually steal the sticker off of our water heater because we had a ten year warranty, so naturally we tried to contact the supervisor leaving voicemail after voicemail after voicemail until a month had passed and he amazingly answered. We explained the situation and he said he couldn't do anything because that tech had quit and actually accused us of staging the whole situation:) Obviously that was infuriating but to top it off he said that it wasn't his responsibility because the tech didn't work for him anymore. Now, I'm sure I'm not crazy but when a tech steals something in the timeframe that they're hired by a company, that makes it the company's responsibility. And now our water heater needs replacing not even one year later and guess what? NO WARRANTY!!! So it's going to be over $2,500 when the new tech said it wouldn't have costed anything with the warranty. Anyway, I tried to call and John said there's no supervisor in on weekends (maybe) but he kept trying to get me to leave a message and hang up so I guess starting this weekend they'll be getting calls, emails, and I might even go down there because this is ridiculous. Keep in mind I'm a minor and my mom is the one suffering for this, so hopefully someone from Benjamin Franklin sees this and gets concerned that this MIGHT be bad business. Maybe I'll even get a call back, who knows?

I called them out to check my water heater they sent someone out that damaged my water heater charged me almost 300 dollars didn't fix it then said I needed to call cuz I potentially had a gas leak. They were called back out to fix the issue same day told me someone was coming when I called back they said no one ever was sent out even though she said that someone was the next day they sent the same guy for him to tell me then I needed a brand new water heater. When I called for a refund for the part I didn't need I was told a supervisor would reach out to me and no one did. Completely unprofessional they take money from people and don't fix the issue just make it worse.

BF sent Kevin out to do a flush on our hot water heater. He asked us at the door about a rod replacement. The next thing I know after hearing him bumping around in the garage is that we have a broken rod that will cost us $300 and we might have to purchase a new heater. I told him to leave. I took pictures of the pipe he pulled out of the wall to send to BF with my complaint to find someone to repair the damage he had done. They sent Mark out who explained that we needed a new coil rod, repaired the pipe that was pulled from the wall and some additional benefits to us. He completed everything in less than 30 minutes.

This was a year and a half ago. If you cared about your reputation someone would have reviewed comments a long time ago.

A second chance??? Did you not see that a had numerous appointments and made numerous calls, most with no response??? I gave you more than enough ""chances""!!!!

I would NEVER use or recommend your company and have stopped using One Hour Air because of your sad company!!

★★★★★

We got a card in the mail from One Hour A/C. They did a great job and didn't do the usual push for upgrading the A/C furnace systems that other vendors have done in the past, (Even though the systems are relatively new.) Then!!! They provided a free water heater flush. We have a heater that is supposed to self clean, but this was a great service from their partner Benjamin Franklin plumbing. Their representative, Mitchell, was very professional and thorough.
