update: After seeing the yelp review, we were contacted by Benicia Plumbing. After a bit of conversation we agreed to what should have been a fair charge. They issued a refund of the difference and all is well, the person I spoke with was apologetic and said the oversight was their fault. I appreciate the honesty.

Very professional and thorough. I have used many fly by night plumbers in the past until I found them a couple of years ago. Called them out again today and I was not let down. Stayed at my house for 4 hours until the problem was fixed. Not going to tell you what they charged me because they deserved double.

Okay y'all. If you read my reviews you are well aware I have used many a plumbing company. Lately the water in my home has been having temper tantrums.
THIS has been BY FAR the most responsive and friendly service ever. No upsale, no late show, no negative at all.
This morning, I flip on the news, rain is on the way (which always starts some sort of sewage problem in my old house). Kids leave for school, husband is at work and I jump in the shower, I hear bubbling in the toilet.!!! I freak out, afraid I won't get it snaked because of insuing storm. I called every other company I have ever used and was told either a day later or I could pay overtime rates tonight. 1 company told me they would tell me the price when they got here. Um no.
Then I remembered a neighbor of mine years ago was a plumber and loved his company, RIP Robert. I called Benecia plumbing with little hope and sweet lady on the phone, wish I recalled her name, answered me with a ""I can have someone leave the shop in 15 minutes""!!! WHEW!
Greg arrived promtly and smiling. He was thorough and obviously good at his job. Even laughed at my dumb jokes about plumbing.:) Thank you Benecia plumbing and Greg. Next time you are my first call!

Recently bought a fixer upper home and have had Benicia Plumbing out twice to fix and install faucets, hook up washer dryer, install new hose bib, new pressure relief valve and hot water circulating system. From Cheryl who does scheduling to Kevin, Scott and Greg who arrived promptly and did the work, I love this company! Very professional, capable, and reasonably priced. Went far beyond what I expected, and they all love working for this company which says a lot about the owners/managers. I highly recommend Benicia Plumbing.

My family is from Benicia (yes, we pronounce it ben-i-sha).... Anyway, my parents now live in Vallejo and they developed a leak in the ceiling of their 2 story condo. I wanted to do the repair myself to save money but I know my limitations. I called the week prior and Kevin came out and gave us an estimate, but we had a hard time locating the exact leak. I told him I would remove the sheetrock and find the exact spot. The free estimate he provided was reasonable so I called them back after locating the slow drip/leak which was a pin hole in a 90 degree elbow. I called on Monday and they scheduled Kevin to come out on Thursday. (They actually had appointments sooner but it didn't work for my schedule). Kevin arrived early and completed the repair in about half an hour. He was nice, knowledgeable, and knew what he was doing. I appreciated his honesty and will definitely hire BP again. I am a skeptical person when it comes to hiring trades but not this time. Thanks.

Back in the spring, we had a small leak under our bar area - which we never use - and it was found to be in the slab. After consulting several plumbers over several weeks, with various options of drilling into the slab, re-piping sections of the house etc., Benicia Plumbing was recommended to us. When my husband called, Josh was very helpful and expressed that they performed this type of repair so often that they have it down to a science and charge a flat rate. We were able to schedule the appointment within the week and Chuck and Doug showed up. They were very patient and kept good humor in finding the various locations of pipe and discovered that out of the entire house only 3 pipes that went under the slab. Rather than just rerouting the pipe under the wet bar, they rerouted the other two (both hot and cold lines) so that we wouldn't have any pipes running under the slab. And the beautiful part is, they included the additional two pipes in their service!!!! They were professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend their knowledgeable and professional services.

Nate was amazing! He was on time and very personable.

I made a mistake in allowing my gardener try to fix my leak. My gardener said it was an easy fix but only made it worse. I had 2 additional leaks, epoxy contaminating my water, took him 9 hours, and no way to comfortably bathe my newborn when he was done.

Nate was done in an hour. Quoted me a fair price and stuck to his initial estimate. I know sometimes you can't always do that and was OK if it changed. I was so thrilled! I would gladly call them again if needed. We have a toilet that needs replacing and I know just who to call!

Update to my prior review. Sheryl was courteous, professional and prompt in wanting to ""make things right."" Today, a new guy came out, on time, and finished the job that the other guy couldn't/wouldn't do. He was professional, personable, and I will request him personally the next time we have a plumbing need (Nate).

Sunday afternoon, and we have had a clog in the main drain for 24hours. Not looking forward to Monday AM with kids going to school and adults off to work, we call Benicia Plumbing. They gave us a 2 hour window, and made it within that time frame. Charles was friendly, courteous, very thorough, fixed the clog, re-ran his machine to make sure it was truly unclogged, cleaned up after himself, and charged what I think is a fair price. Thank you Benicia Plumbing!
