In a time of economic difficulty, Bill and Leeann Cawley took a leap of faith to establish Benicia Plumbing. The Cawleys aimed to offer reliable, high-quality plumbing services and create strong community bonds, turning their small business into a well-respected name.

As time has passed, we have expanded our services to better serve our customers. Our team remains focused on one guiding principle: “People Taking Care of People,” whether providing advanced plumbing solutions or assisting with major construction projects.

A new era started in 2015 when Bill handed over the leadership to his son, William Cawley III, who continues the family legacy with unwavering dedication to excellence and community service.

William J. Cawley, III (Bill) serves as the President of Benicia Plumbing, Inc., responsible for estimating new construction and overseeing company operations. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas A & M University, Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science. He worked for two years as a Project Manager at Brandt Engineering Co., Inc., a prominent commercial HVAC and plumbing contractor in Dallas, Texas. In 1998, Bill joined Benicia Plumbing, Inc., and has been a part of the team ever since. He holds a California Contractor’s License with C-36 Plumbing and C-20 HVAC specialties and is an EPA Certified “Universal” refrigerant technician.

In his free time, Bill cherishes moments with his wife and four children, serves in his church, and enjoys shooting sports whenever he has the chance.

Happy to pass on a positive comment about Benicia Plumbing. They recently delivered excellent service in my home for 3 different situations. They came out, gave me an estimate and we scheduled the work. Right before my scheduled appointment, they called to see if I would be willing to reschedule because a local resident had an emergency and all other staff were out on calls. Since my work was not an emergency - I rescheduled.

When they did come out - the work was fast, efficient and the clean-up impeccable. They handled all the situations at the same time to save me money. The plumber even looked at one more thing and advised me what to do, with no additional charge. While they did not do the drywall work, I was informed at the time of the estimate, and could have hired a handyman to do the whole job, but I wanted to make sure an expert plumber handling that portion of the job.

Upon completion I had a question about the bill, and they did follow up with me thru their customer service and I was completely satisfied.

I highly recommend them without reservation.

We had a major leak on our main lain from street to the home on 22/04/17. I only discovered it when I came home Friday night and immediately called our neighborhood's ""Benicia Plumbing"" for emergency help. The lady answered took the details and said someone will call me right back. Its Monday evening around 5:20 pm. Till now nobody from Benicia plumbing bother to call.

I posted this on nextdoor and next thing was the messages from management to blaming me the customer's fault that they never served my request for help. At the end they threatened to sue me for sharing my experience.

The message was Mr. Vydyarakath wanted an estimate to repair a broken PRV. His message was NOT, ""I have an emergency - my water service is broken and flooding my house. Please send a plumber ASAP!"" Our experienced Service Technician who was on call returned Mr. Vydyarakath's telephone call; however, our Service Technician did not leave a message when Mr. Vydyarakath did not pick up the phone ... he was in the middle of two other emergency calls at the time. If Mr. Vydyarakath had answered the phone, our Service Technician would have stated he would not have been able to assist Mr. Vydyarakath at that moment and our Service Technician would have referred Mr. Vydyarakath to Up 2 Code Plumbing. Benicia Plumbing, Inc., is a reputable company and has provided a solution for Mr. Vydyarakath ... to please call our Service Manager, Gene Guy, to discuss any plumbing matter at (707) 745-2920. Benicia Plumbing, Inc., stands firm with its motto of ""People Taking Care of People""!""

But you are saying lying customer. And as owner/Manager of this business you are supporting the leying employee without checking the facts from their statements. Because YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER OR GIVE DAMN ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER.

attached is the ""missing""call log from cell phone for Friday night.which includes calls to my home land line and to cell phone. Both rings at same place. Call says ""extension audio"" is the calls to my home land line. Show me where is the missed call from your employee

Your attitude is what most of the customers mentioned here. ""RUDE SERVICE"" supporting lying employee to make a customer lier.""

Mr. Massood, we are very sorry as it appears we made a mistake. Our plumber received your request from our answering service for a price to repair a broken pressure regulator. Our plumber immediately returned your call and there was no answer. However, we now realize he dialed the wrong number. As you can see from his phone's call log, he was very busy with emergencies. Since he was already on a call, with other emergency calls pending, he did not attempt to call you back. Because the message he received was that you wanted a price to repair, he prioritized his emergency calls over your price request. Had he called the correct number, he would have referred you to another contractor as we would not have been able to take care of you. Please accept this explanation and let this be the last word on the matter. Any more unwarranted negative comments about Benicia Plumbing will be considered defamation of character and legal action will be pursued. Authored and signed by William J. My husband called Benicia Plumming 2 weeks ago. Nobody returned his call, Cheryl said ""well he left a message but it didn't sound urgent"". She told me someone would get back to me. Errol finally called me back 2 days later and left a message. I called him back immediately and got no answer. Came this week from vacation upon my return I called 2 more times. Errol finally called on Wednesday to tell me he was too busy to talk to me until Friday. Apparently Benicia Plumming has so much business that they can blow off their potential customers???

A little courtesy would have gone a long way here. I called yesterday to unclog a drain. They were too busy, would call me back. Ok, 4 hours later, made an appointment for next day,was that ok? I said, sure. They said they would be here between 12 and 2. Ok, I take off work, promising work I'd be back at 210 (I'm pretty busy too). 2:00 pm arrives, no one shows. On my driveway, I call them, and say, ""hey, I waited but no one came, I gotta go back by 210"". The lady says, ""well if you have to be back to work by 210 it wouldn't have given them any time to fix anything. The time slot is 12 to 2"". I said, ""yes, that's true, but its 2 and no one is here"". She says ""well if they had been there, you wouldn't have been able to wait."" I said ""that's good to know, thank you"". She said ""you are welcome."" Maybe it's just me, but if I just took two hours from work, and waited those two hours for someone who doesn't show, and doesn't bother to call to say they will be late, the least I expect is an ""I'm sorry""? ....After that, not inclined to rearrange my schedule any more.

I have an Apollo hydroheat system, and my heater wasn't working. I called the plumber who had installed the water heater, and they told me without even looking at it they couldn't do anything, and referred me to a heating place. The heating place, also without looking at it, told me the only thing I could do was replace the furnace for $4000; I could try Benicia Plumbing if I wanted to, but because Apollo is no longer in business replacement parts aren't available. Decided to take my chances and have Benicia Plumbing come out. An hour and $165 later, my heater was fixed--wasn't a problem with the heater at all, it was the check valve on the water heater. I should have called these guys in the first place! Thank you Benicia Plumbing!!!
