Originally I would have given Benchmark Plumbing and rodding 5 stars. However, they cleaned my
catch basin and were paid and were to send me a receipt via email. They didn't. I guess I should have known they may not be reliable when they called and told me they'd clean the basin on a Saturday and they did not show up or call. I had to call them to find out why they didn't come and was told we will come on Monday. They did come on Monday and clean the basin so I thought. Then less than a week later ( that following Thursday 3 days later) the water from the catch basin backed up in my basement floor drain. I called Benchmark about this and asked if they could come back and rod the drain and/or catch basin out. And clean the basin out. I was given the run around by Jamie. He said he didn't know who from his company came out to do the original cleaning of the basin and he'd go to the office and pull the work order to see who did it and have that tech call me and come out. Jamie never called me back and neither did the tech. I called back and left messages and no response. I even found the phone number of the te that cleaned the basin because he had sent me pictures of the work he'd done and he talked to me but called me Miss Weber and said he'd call me back. He never called back. All of this happened as my basement got flooded. I would recommend them if it is a problem that you won't have to rely on them coming back to save you from a flooded basement.

Update: 10/08/2018 spoke to Jamy and he was willing to come out and rod the basin and drain but we scheduled with someone else. Jamy said I'd be looking to pay $200 or more and the other plumber will do the job for $175. I think Benchmark should have done it but I had to call someone else because they were too busy.

Seriously folks, these guys are the real deal. I needed more than one plumbing job (ejector pump & hot water heater installed) so talked to a couple places but I take my research seriously (yelp, google reviews, BBB, Angie's list & the like) so ended up narrowing it down rather quickly.

I mean, I'm not near Manteno but yes, in their service area yet they went above & beyond measure to gain not just my trust but my business. They answered all questions in clear, concise manner, and fully explained all I need to know about what was happening & needed doing.
Jamie even came out to our house at no cost so the estimate would be precise. With all my incessant questions, he was here at least an hour. Who does THAT? One other company offered to stop in but were 5 minutes away.

Their price wasn't just competitive but really affordable given all our expenses as of late (sometimes when it rains it pours. Not their or anyone else's problem!). At the time of the appointment, my husband worked from home & said Jamie was here sharp, had picked up what we needed at Menard's (given we'd otherwise had to have paid $75 to deliver) and fully explained anything else that came up. But no, there were no surprises, just useful tips & such.

Trust me, I check things thoroughly beforehand so can say without equivocation, these reviews got it right.
Outstanding company one should NOT overlook. At a family party this weekend, Jamie made such an impression as did his company, I was sure to tell all attending I know WHO they can trust to call when they need a plumber (as that's just a day ahead for ALL of us eventually).

Once again, yelp steered me in right direction.

THANK you Jamie (Jason & other plumbers), good to know work ethic, customer service & tenacious professional work is still alive & well in society today. Sure we WILL be calling upon you someday again, however, I hope not too soon!! All the same, it's refreshing to know I don't have to look around again, I can trust I hired the right company. Much appreciated!

There were several issues that Gabe took care of in record time. He first came and diagnosed the problems, left to buy parts and a few new fixtures and in less than one hour, a month's worth of plumbing issues had disappeared. Very professional and knowledgeable. These guys are wonderful! Our service mans name was Gabe.
He was on time, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The work he did was exceptional and reasonably priced.
