DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! So far my review would be """"O"""" stars! They were called to install a new sink and faucet, new disposal, shorten a long water hose to the dishwasher and replace two old valves! Shortly after the first plumber left, a leak developed under the sink. I called them back and the original plumber refused to come back because it was Saturday (4/7/18) late afternoon. That first plumber told us Wed. was his last day as he was moving to Las Vegas. Another plumber did come and was very cordial but...today (4/9/18) another leak has developed and our dishwasher has no water! I spoke with Lisa from the office today and she has arranged for the same second plumber to come back on Wed.! I also asked Lisa who the owner was and asked to have him call me as this is horrible service! Believe it or not, Lisa asked if there was a problem (Ya think?) and inquired as to why I wanted to speak to the owner (Really?)? Lisa said she handles all the complains first...problem is the person handling the complaints has to be smart enough to understand there is a problem in order to resolve it!

Called Ben Franklin Plumbing to provide an estimate to completely retrofit old water pipes in a Townhome. Scott arrived an took almost two hours examining, drawing plans, talking about options etc. This was on A Friday. He assured me he would get the estimate to me no later than the following Weds morning since time to get the job done was a concern. Weds came and went; no estimate. I called and was assured I would have it Weds afternoon. No estimate. I called Weds afternoon; she would track down Scott and call me back with an update: no call back, no estimate. I called Thursday morning, was told Scott was out sick, but she would have someone else get it to me in a few minutes; no estimate; I called back she put me on hold while she called Scott; came back on to tell me I would have it shortly; no estimate, no call back. This is the type of poor customer service that is so irritating. Is it that difficult to simply make a call to say """"we are still working on it""""? I will go out of my way to let everyone I know how bad Ben Franklin Plumbing is and never waste my time on them again.

I utilized them for two drain repairs- since I was under the gun to get the pipes fixed, I bit my tongue on the $1220 quote and 8 hours of work. The plumber had a hard time communication, either in English or Spanish. He left a mess once completed and when I complained about the work only taking 3 hours of the quoted 8 hours and still being charged the whole amount- they took $20.00 off of the bill. The plumber was late for both the initial quote (8-9 am arrival time- arrived 1130) and the repair (8-9 am arrival time- arrived 930) I utilized home advisor thinking I would get a good company-I guess live and learn.
