To be part of BelRed, our technical staff must hold all required industry certifications and licenses. Continuing education is mandatory for our staff to retain their licenses and certifications. We insist that all service technicians obtain N.A.T.E. certification. N.A.T.E. certification is the most rigorous standard for heating and cooling technicians, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service.

Don began his journey as a service technician in Bellingham, Yakima, and the Eastside before establishing BelRed in 1986. Don may no longer work directly with customers, but this year we proudly celebrate 28 years of BelRed Energy Solutions, with Don at the helm of our success.

Under Don's leadership, BelRed has flourished, and he remains devoted to improving the HVAC industry overall. He has participated in numerous initiatives, such as:

My experience has been painful. My thermostat occasionally run into restart loop. Even there is a tag claim that there is life time warranty provided. But still every time technician come fix here and there maybe just make it working once and charge me 100 plus dollars claiming that this is not part of the warranty and go, it has been 2 years and issue happens several times, and now it happens again the home is having no heat during the coldest days of the year.

Regular furnace check up. They were able to come out in just one business day. The annual check up was delayed by four months due to Covid-19 but the tech they sent (Jim) was great. He told me about work that should be done next year- not vital right away. I appreciate his honesty. He followed up later via text to ensure everything was working as normal after he'd left. Called Bel-Red and was able to schedule an appointment with them in 4 days during the winter season where most other heating and cooling companies are at least 1+ week out in their schedule. The scheduler Asha (sorry if I misspelled your name) was very kind and understanding of our situation. On the day of service, Bel-Red sent me a text letting me know about some basic info about the technician that will come out to help us, followed by a phone call almost immediately after the text letting us know how long it will take the tech to arrive. Steven, our technician, arrived promptly at the promised time was very professional and helpful during the whole appointment. He was wearing a mask, donning shoe covers the whole time, and even laid down a thin tarp that he called ""the red carpet"" underneath the ladder that he used to access our furnace in the attic. After the service, Steven took the time to answer our questions regarding our HVAC system and even gave us some useful maintenence tips. All in all, a great experience all around! Will definitely recommend!

Joe was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained things beyond what other companies explained. He measured our windows and calculated the required BTUs needed to heat and cool our home. That was outstanding. I think the price was reasonable due to COVID inflation. The services offered for installation of a new AC in my opinion goes above and beyond. Highly, highly recommend.

Cody came earlier than expected to finish our heat pump setup. Thankfully I was alerted to his time of arrival by a detailed text message from the office. He arrived with mask on . He explained what he was going to be doing for the nearly two hours while setting up the system. I asked several questions and recorded the information so my husband could be informed later. Overall, the appointment went great. Thanks Cody for getting things rolling for our heating and cooling system.

The salesperson sold me a system that is grossly oversized. The installers, maintenance technicians and the service technicians would not tell me the air delivery system is grossly oversized for the ductwork. None of people who I spoke to would tell me the system is grossly oversized in the heating and cooling capacity either. I was sold more services that I would have ever needed. If the system was sized correctly to begin with, none of the extra expenses would have been necessary. I paid for treating my oil that was overheating by their design. Not 1, but 2 safety protection devices failed before the warranty is even half over, and they do not know why the parts failed. I was told it is a poor manufacture's quality. This was a surprise to me considering I was of the impression I was getting top of the line equipment. I have been paying very high energy bills for years now. Are there technicians dishonest, very poorly trained or just work on commission and that is what matters? I have no opinion, but it is 1 or more of these reasons. The system life span will be half of the factory expected life span giving me the highest cost possible for ownership. I recommend you get a 2nd opinion by another contractor if Bel Red Heating installed you heating and air conditioning equipment.

Johnathon Fulton showed up after notifying me via text he was on his way, arrived soon after. He arrived within the scheduled period. He is clean cut, polite and knowledgeable. He spent about 1 1/2 or 2 hours and was thoroughly checking out my furnace for an annual inspection. I'm confident my furnace is operating correctly. Well done.
I am disappointed because I asked for Bel-Red to check my generator circuit board when I set up the appointment. I had to wait a month for the appointment. He wasn't scheduled to do that. My hot water heater was not operating correctly during the last power outage. It was ok until my furnace was installed. One of the workers ""corrected"" a problem with the generator circuit board after I mentioned that the hot water heater continued to be energized while the breaker had been opened.
I was told he would let the office know I needed an electrician, but I have not heard anything as of today, 12/1/2021. The appointment took place on 11/10/2021.
