Excellent honest, professional service for my home, my office, and took really good care of my nine-year-old mom main drain stoppage. I think of them every morning when my hot water comes out of my shower in 5 Seconds, instead of 2 minutes, dont even know how Matt did it

We have used Belmont Plumbing for two projects since we moved to South Wrigley in Long Beach. When you call and talk to Rene you feel like you have a friend who will come to your aide ASAP. Matt and crew responded quickly and rescued us from a water leak outside and put in a new automated sprinkling system and repaired an outside faucet we were not able to turn off. All completed work was fantastic! Following that, Matt returned another day to talk to us about our old tankless water heater that was giving us problems. He spent quite a lot of time explaining all aspects of tankless water heaters (something new to us), giving us options to think about and many helpful suggestions. No pressure at all. It really felt like we were talking to a life-long friend who has our best interest at heart. Matt really knows his stuff. Recently we had Matt and Paco replace the problematic tankless water heater and even install a filter system to make it work better and last longer. The new system is high quality as is the work that Matt and Paco did. We simply couldn't be happier to have found a local plumber who has such a high work ethic, cares about his community, and goes above and beyond to give quality service at very reasonable prices.

I have been using Belmont Plumbing now for 10 or so years, they are a family owned company which I love. I'm posting tonight because I had an emergency, it was late in the afternoon.. short notice. They were here within 20-25 minutes... you're looking for Long Beach based plumbing company call Matt and Renee

We live in a house built in 1929... still have the original beautiful farmhouse sink in our kitchen... with the not so beautiful and original plumbing.
Our kitchen sink has the original faucet handles with gaskets that were so worn that the water ran 24/7. We called Belmont Plumbing to fix the faucet, swap out several water spigots on our property, and a install a toilet kit.
The Belmont Plumbing team came out and assessed the job. It turned out to be a two day job given that the kitchen sink faucet handles were rare and required a special type of gasket. Day one, the team was able to address the exterior spigots but have to return date to to install the new toilet kit and kitchen sink gaskets.
All of the installations are functioning absolutely perfect and we are delighted with the results that Belmont plumbing performed.
Living in an old house with original plumbing means that there is constantly some type of a plumbing issue occurring. We're delighted that we found Belmont plumbing and look forward to working with them in the future!

Called to ask about a repair on a water heater and a technician was at my door the same day. Not the norm, but I'll take it and appreciate the rapid response. Work was done neatly and professionally and the rates were very reasonable. I found a new plumber!! Well done Belmont !

Belmont Plumbing helped on a day when no one else could. Everybody at Belmont Plumbing was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I will only use these folks in the future.

I have used Belmont Plumbing for years now, they are always reliable and professional. Best in Long Beach!

Great experience! Not only was it very easy and pleasant to schedule, they confirm and explain everything simply. When they come to your home they do the job quick and efficient. They are definitely my go to plumber. So glad I had them come!

Our experiences with Belmont Plumbing have been wonderful! Usually when you have plumbing or other home repairs it's stressful and expensive, especially when you have a 97 year old home. Our first experience was last summer when one of our visitors stopped up our toilet. Matt and Dan came out and were so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We felt that the charges were very fair as well. Yesterday our kitchen sink was stopped up and backing into the bathroom sink. We called and they came right out. They were so helpful & friendly and even though it was a difficult job and took a long time, the charge was less than we expected. I know now not to put artichokes, banana peels and eggshells in the garbage disposal. I appreciate working with an honest local family business and highly recommend them for any plumbing work you may have.

Belmont Plumbing operates out of a house in the Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach.
In August 2017 we wanted an estimate on plumbing construction. Proprietor Matt Grayley arrived more than 20 minutes after the appointed time. Without going into the crawl space under the house to look at the pipes (which are attached to the floor joists), Mr. Grayley said that we need a copper re-pipe to avoid a lot of problems in ""one or two years"". He had to retract that statement later, after his employee went under the house and found the galvanized supply lines to be in good condition. (Grayley did not mention the corroded wastewater lines under the bathroom. Did his man miss seeing them?) He talked about ""electrolysis"" at copper-to-steel joints, when he should probably have talked about ""galvanic corrosion"" aka ""bi-metal corrosion"". When his $5,600 estimate finally arrived nearly two weeks after his second visit, it was vague about how many hours of labor would be needed. It requested $3,800 to install pipe of unstated length, diameter, material and insulation in a trench that we, the homeowners, would dig and fill afterwards. We told him the work would be done under a permit from City Hall, asked him to reduce the scope of the work and write a more detailed estimate, including month of projected completion. He declined ""due to many prior commitments"". (If he knew of many prior commitments, why did he bid the job?) We wasted three weeks on Belmont and won't call them again.
