Our hot water gave out one evening when I tried washing dinner dishes. I figured we were about ready for a water heater replacement since it was 15 yrs old. But I needed a working water heater quickly.

The next morning I looked through Yelp to identify possible places to contact to determine if we we should repair or replace.

Using the functionality in Yelp, I was able to request a call for help from multiple highly regarded service professionals who could provide quick callbacks and estimates.

Bellows Plumbing, Heating & Air was up to the task. They responded very quickly and fit us into their tight schedule to assess our situation that same day.

After a couple of failed attempts to temporarily replace a bad part, our technician Will reviewed the different types, costs and delivery times for new water heaters with us.

With Will's guidance and escalation to his boss, we are very happy to say that we received and had a new unit installed before the end of the following day with hot water once again!

We had Bellows install a new heating and cooling system a few years ago and they did a great job. We then signed up for their annual heating/plumbing/water heater check up service. This proved to be surprisingly useful as they discovered and fixed some latent problems in our electrical panel that had been causing us to trip circuit breakers.

What a great company this is.

They have done small tasks for me on my home's HVAC systems, but they recently installed a Mitsubishi mini-split in a space that had defeated two other well-regarded local installers.

Their sales guy, Rob, was courteous and prompt, offering a quote 30% lower than either of the other companies (for the same product). Then their project manager quickly figured out a way to get this tricky job done. The permit took no time at all, and the installation took slightly less time than they'd promised.

The installers were friendly and professional, checking with me about optimal placement of all components. They found a way to cut far less sheetrock than they had estimated, and they were very easy on plants as they picked their way through the garden to route hoses. All the while, their office team was knowledgeable and friendly.

The new system works wonderfully so far. I recommend this team without reservation.

I want to extend an extra thank you to Ryan who was here last week to do the annual inspection on my furnace. Bellow's installed the furnace a year ago & I've been very happy with it! (The annual service is part of a policy I purchased from Bellows). Ryan was here on time, very thorough & conscientious in checking everything, vacuuming up any accumulated dust; inside & outside the unit. I found out my AC unit was broken just as our 90+ mini heat wave was starting in Novato. I figured this would be a pretty busy time and the earliest most of the 6 companies I called were unavailable until after the heat wave - 3 days later. Fortunately when I called Bellows, one of their technicians finished up another job early and had time to fit us in. Less than two hours after I called, Ryan from Bellows came to diagnose our system. Not only did Ryan climb into the sweltering attic twice to troubleshoot, he was able to identify and correct a grounding issue, and after resetting the system our a/c was up and running again. He also showed us how to reset the system if it ever happened again. We are so grateful for the quick service and cold air. Thank you Bellows plumbing!
