Originating in Elk Grove, CA, brothers Kenny and Jerry Bell founded our company with a mission to maintain their legacy of exceptional HVAC, plumbing, insulation, and window services for our clients. In 1982, the Bell brothers attended HVAC school in Phoenix, Arizona, learning the essentials of heating and air. After finishing at the top of their class, they started working in the trades to acquire hands-on experience. In 1985, they opened a pizza parlor in their hometown, balancing it with jobs at local HVAC companies. In 1991, they launched Bell Bros., using an old pizza delivery truck as their service vehicle and placing an ad in the phone book. They made pizzas and waited for calls, ready to switch shirts and serve customers when the phone rang. In 1995, the HVAC division moved out of the pizza parlor and into its own facility, hiring their first employees. They aimed to be the premier heating and cooling service provider in the region. Bell Bros. has now grown to be the largest heating and air conditioning company in the Sacramento area.

The company cheats customers and abuse people. This company repairs something for you, then broke another thing to ask you to call their service again. The company intentionally made wrong diagnosis with very high payment for repairing. This company repair something, then leave something not finished which brings trouble for the later time.

Less than five years ago, Bell Brothers replaced my entire AC system with a product made by Ruud ($10K). Never heard of it.... so I asked about reliability and got the standard too-late-to-do-anything-about-it answer: ""...good stuff, no problems..."" Now I've spent another $1.2K on that good stuff that was supposed to still be under warranty. I ask for an explanation of the high labor costs of warranty repairs (of course, materials covered--not labor). I was told someone would call me back. I'm still waiting. I got pressured repeatedly to opt for their monthly fee of $18 +/- with the hint that the labor charges might be reduced retroactively?????? The ""No Surprise Guys"" seem to have a lot of surprises--none of them good. My previous system lasted nearly 20 years with no surprises---it wasn't Ruud.

All I have to say is Bell Bros. Only concern is about how much $$$ they can get from you. A simple toilet clog check and clean out the reed into an estimate for $9000. They said a new clean out was needed plus all new pipes in the front yard. He never even used the camera to check for the clog. He said it was to far away and the house needed a new clean out in the front yard? He said he as not allowed to snake the toilet (place of original clog)? Hmmm, we called Another company and they will be out tomorrow to snake from the toilet. Beware of the Money Hungry Bell Brothers!!! I will not ever use them or recommend them to anyone. I guess they need more $$$ for their commercial advertisements on tv....just saying

I must be in the twilight zone here - ""bit of miscommunication""? I think not. It was a HUGE miscommunication. Not to mention that today's ETA for the tech was off by 20 mins. The previous owners used Bell Brothers and luckily, our blower that malfunctioned, was still under warranty (only reason we have to work with them).

Their ETA window was 8-8:30am according to a courtesy call at 7am; yet, the tech didn't show up until 8:50am even after my husband had called to see where the tech was. Seriously???? This was your chance to redeem yourself and you've failed to earn our business, Bell Brothers. Shame, shame, shame. The only reason I gave you guys two stars is because we actually really liked the tech who came out. Excellent customer service on his part. Basically, choose this business if you have all day to wait around and make phone calls. If not, look elsewhere because time is money.

We have been calling Bell Brothers for years for our central heating and air conditioning. Every time they are knowledgeably and ever so nice. This month (June) they have been out to our home two times. This time tomorrow will be the third time. Hopefully third time the charm. I'm hoping the problem will be something very simple and not the right hundred dollars I have been previously Quito. We already drop a cool eight hundred dollars. I never feel like they are taking advantage of us. The technicians always explain and are very courtesy .

I called for an estimate and the person gave me a window period of 12 to 4. I called at 4 and the person on the phone says that I am still on the list and that they don't have a window period yet the service person would call me when close. This is poor planning on their part that they can't provide a more reasonable estimate when making estimate appointments.

The service technician finally arrived for my estimate. My friend had work done by Bell Brothers a month prior and I knew what she paid. The guys estimate was $2000 more than what my friend had paid for the exact same thing. They guy said that there was a new technician and he had misquoted a price. So I asked if they could match it and he said he would check. The guy just emailed me his estimate and did not give me a documented price sheet nor did he follow-up with me on if he could match the same price my friend paid for the same product.

I think Bell Brothers has poor customer service and would never use them.

A few years ago i put in a new heating and air system with BellBrothers. I added the warranty because i was renting my home out. A couple months ago the renters moved and left the home a mess. Bell Brothers came out and serviced the system and noticed additional damage due to the lack of care and filth from the renters. In the past 2 months they have been to my home repairing, cleaning and restoring my system to its original working condition under the warranty. There are further parts needed to finish repairing the system but the attic (where the unit is located) is too hot to work in currently.. I have had to call them to come check out why we had no cool air on a couple of occasions, within an hour a service technician is at my door getting the system up and running once again. I can not imagine having a better more diligent company installing and now working for free under the warranty to get my system back to its original condition. The technicians who have come out are knowledgeable, friendly and highly trained. I highly recommend using this company for your air conditioning and heating needs.

After a great service from a very nice young man who cleaned our kitchen drain, this was the first and only company I called when I needed a small plumbing job done. Company was very responsive but since they give a four hour window for them to show up I advised they may have to wait a bit to which they agreed. So I was charged $80 for the person to be dispatched to my house. I received six phone calls for the 20 minutes he had to wait while I was at work and I was ready to just send him on his way regardless of paying the fee. He ended up waiting for my husband (my son was not enough a person at home being 17) and he gave us a $967 estimate. I never got the quote. I got two copies of the $80 invoice instead. I had the job done for one hour by someone else yesterday paying $210. Bell Bros will not be the company I call in the future.
