Established in Elk Grove, CA by siblings Kenny and Jerry Bell, we strive to continue their tradition of offering excellent HVAC, plumbing, insulation, and window services to every customer. In 1982, Jerry and Kenny Bell studied HVAC in Phoenix, Arizona, gaining a solid foundation in heating and air conditioning. After finishing at the top of their class, they started working in the trades to acquire hands-on experience. In 1985, they ventured into the pizza industry, opening a pizzeria in their hometown while simultaneously working for local HVAC contractors. In 1991, they founded Bell Bros., beginning with one old pizza delivery truck repurposed as a service vehicle and advertising in the phone book. They prepared pizzas and awaited service calls, quickly changing shirts to assist customers when the phone rang. In 1995, the HVAC division moved out of the pizza parlor and into its own facility, hiring their first employees. They aimed to be the premier heating and cooling service provider in the region. Today, Bell Bros. stands as the largest heating and air conditioning provider in the Sacramento region.
More than 28 years ago, two brothers founded Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning with a clear vision: to cultivate a family of customers who would receive exceptional service and guaranteed satisfaction every time.

I recently bought new windows from this company and they came to install them yesterday. These employees are awesome! The Technicians did a great job, efficient clean job. The supervisor on the job was very well-versed on windows installation. He explained all the gadgets on the window very well. Great customer service. I will use them again if I need to and refer them to my friends.

Stay away from Bell Brothers! Total crooks and liars. They took advantage of me trying to convince me I needed a $19,000 system due to new California laws! This was a flat out lie and aggressive sales tactics. Had a brand new upgraded unit installed for less than $3,500 next business day by a trusted and local licensed contractor. Bell Brothers charged me for this scam quote and now refuse to give me my money back!!

Bell Brothers never contacted me after my Yelp review (even though they promised their general manager would contact me). Now they're fighting my Credit Card company claiming they completed their work.
I'm sending my CC company a copy of Bell Brother's invoice, which has a line item stating ""fix the problem, pour the concrete back"". Obviously, if the exact same drain line clogged up with rocks, just a few feet down from where Bell Brothers excavated, they never did their job correctly (or finished). Instead, they ignored my complaints, demanded more $ to redo the job, and are now fighting my CC company...

We used Bell Brothers in the past for HVAC service and have been pleased with their service. Our house is now for sale and we have a gas leak. Since we hear the radio ads for Bell Brothers every day, called them for a quote. Were told they won't do service on a house that's for sale. How weird is that? So disappointed.

Rigid and unwilling to work with a customer. One of my neighbors recommended them, but they flat out refused to do work for me because my house is in escrow. I even offered to pay up front when they said they have had issues with getting paid for work on houses in escrow. I currently occupy my house (and will continue to for 3 months), would be the one here and would pay them up front. No third party or escrow company involvement. Yet they still refused to even do a simple inspection for me. I hate it when companies hide behind a policy at the expense of customers.

True professionals! We had a main sewer block and Doug took care of us! He was friendly, knowledgeable and fast! It was a pleasure to work with him. I will not hesitate to contact Bell Brothers if I am ever in need of their services! Thanks again Doug, you are an asset to your company!

I called for a quote and of course NOT being in this same industry I wanted to ask for clarification of what the $79.95 fee was .... however because the representative ""Brittney"" expressed that it was for their dispatching fee!! SO I asked what it covered as I was NOT aware of what this could include as previously I used another company which their fee included a maintenance!! Also, I would get a call any time after 12 noon but didn't have a time frame ... but I would get a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival.
So because I did not understand her statement which was shared over and over as to what it did not include as she proceeded to tell me how if the tech stayed there for 30 mins or longer the $79.95 fee would cover that only. And to raise her tone and voice enough for me to ask for a supervisor ....
Unfortunately, the best statement her supervisor made was she wasn't taking any sides however she did hear her rep say it three times since she sits right behind her ... SO it's great to know that I ask about having someone come out to look at the AC unit BUT then get the worst service because I'm asking questions ... never again.

The technician came out for some estimates on a Tuesday and said we would get them by Friday...we got nothing. The technician called and left a voicemail Saturday, apologized, said he's been super busy and he would have them ASAP. My wife was not happy and decided to call him the following Wednesday to asked about the estimate, again he told her he'd have it by Friday...well here we are on Saturday and again still no estimate. First order of a business is to don't piss your customers off and they should know that. They could have made a lot of money from all the projects we wanted done, but I'm more than happy to let another business get our hard earned $$$. Please stop showing those commercials if you can't back up what you say!

Came out promptly, diagnosed the problem, advised me on what I should do if my water heater pilot keeps going out and didn't charge me.

Bell bros is a horrible company. I find them totally unethical. We pay to be part of their program where they are supposed to come once pre-summer and once pre-winter for service, however they never actually follow through with calling to set up appointments. Then when I call this fact out on social media they lie. Then after being refused to speak to a manager and told they'd call back, they haven't 2 weeks later. Yet they say I already spoke to one which is a lie. All you get from them is lies.
Today after telling the tech that I'd just had my carpet cleaned (you know b/c they are terrible and never set up appts in an appropriate amount of time), I let him out to the AC unit. As he took off his booties it got fried leaves and dirt on my carpet and when I pointed it out he said ""it wasn't me."" Um yes it was. I had literally just moved a box from that spot 30 sec before.
