Believe Plumbing of 2312 W Kathleen St Tampa, FL 33607 had an advertised deal that I accepted on 10 April through my Ang* account for a 799 Bradford White electric water heater install. I called Believe Plumbing the next working day, 11 April, at 0830 to confirm the price I got through Ang* and I provided the redemption code ANG*-298C41DD2EE7. I asked if there were any extra fees or permits charges and if I wanted to increase the size from 40 to 50 gallons what additional cost would apply. The business representative said the 799 dollar fee covered everything and that a 50 gallon unit would be the same 799 price. I also asked if they install the Bradford White brand but he was unsure (Bradford White brand is quoted in their deal). I asked to set up a service and install appointed ASAP as the current heater was leaking and nonfunctional. He confirmed my contact information and said service tech would call me. After 1pm I called back the representative was unsure of the appointment time but would check and call me back. After an hour with no call back I recalled and reached a different but nice lady would said she could not find any record of the service in the schedule and worked to fit me in the next day, 12 April, after 1 pm. I asked the service tech to call me once arrived to confirm if a 50 gallon unit would fit and to authorize the replacement as the property was currently rented. When I did not get a phone call in the afternoon of 12 April I again called Believe Plumbings office and asked about the status, I was told the service tech had already looked at the unit and was at the supply warehouse picking up the heater. When I reminded them they needed to call for my authorization and discuss the 40 or 50 gallon size the representative said, """"oh yea he should have called you."""" I then asked to confirm the brand and was told it was """"Estate"""" and not Bradford White. Sensing something didn't feel right and needing to ensure the repair was done as agreed I asked to speak with the owner about the difficulties. When the owner spoke with me he obviously was not told anything about my concerns and just asked, you want the install? I asked about the brand not being Bradford White as advertised and also total price, again sensing I was not getting the full truth. He said it is 1200 dollars either 40 or 50 gallon and the brand is """"Estate"""" and not Bradford White (a better brand). When I told him I confirmed within his office the Ang* price Monday morning of $799 he said that is not valid and Ang* should not have that price active (but the """"$799 deal"""" is still offered today). He offered no explanation why his staff would not tell me the correct price until I was able to talk with him and would not even consider any price reduction due to the circumstances, even though he still lists a 5 percent discount on the Ang* site too. Nor did he offer a military discount (which he claims he offers on his Yelp business page). He did say that they would install a water heater for $450 if I wanted to buy one locally like Home Depot or Lowes, but they will cost you 800 to 900 so $1200 is a good price. Actually an AO Smith brand 50 gallon equivalent water heater from Lowes cost under 600, after military 10 percent discount. AO Smith makes a lower end """"Estate"""" brand heaters as well. Home Depot has Rheem 50 gallon for under 475 after military discount, all offer same 6 year warranty same as Estate he installed. Faced with need to complete the job that had already been delayed I told him the use the 50 gallon heater but that the bait and switch pricing was not acceptable. I was invoiced for 1200 with an extra 3.92 percent charge to use a credit card, something never disclosed - payments options state """"Visa, Discover, Check"""". Based on my experience it is hard the believe what Believe Plumbing tells you - even after giving the owner an opportunity to address the issue and make things right.

This is the first time I used Believe Plumbing, but had such a GREAT EXPERIENCE they will be my go-to Plumbing co. moving forward if my home has a problem. A guy named Junior came to my home this week and spotted a tricky leak in under my crawlspace to fix. He did it in a timely manner and explained my option about what a full Re-pipe of my home would entail and approx. what it would cost. I live in a home that was built in 1925 and old homes are generally difficult for plumbing, but not when you have a Plumber who knows what they're doing. Two weeks ago I asked for plumbing recommendations from neighbors on the Next Door App in Palma Ceia Pines. Believe Plumbing was one of four mentioned. I called all of them and researched their reviews on a couple of sources. I had several problems and decided to try Believe. Myra, who answered the phone, said that the estimator could be out the next morning. Amir, who is the owner, quotes per project rather per hour. He was compassionate about me being out of work, like so many others, because of COVID-19. It was a fair price. Junior and Carlos showed up the next morning a little earlier than the scheduled time as it is their aim to be prompt. I had to have my pipes replaced for the severely leaking tub and when the shut off for my condo building wasn't effective to solder, they installed personal shut off's in my unit rather than have to inconvenience the whole complex. They also replaced the leaking bolts in my toilet tank, unplugged my kitchen sinks, re-angled the pipes and attached the dishwasher line after I had removed the garbage disposal. They did a great job. I would use them again.

We did not have a good experience. We are moving, the handheld sprayer in the shower wasn't working and needed to be repaired before closing. I called on a Tuesday, was told someone would call next day to confirm date and time they could come out. By Friday, I still had not heard from anyone. I called and they said someone could be out that day at 3pm. I called at 430pm because no one showed up. They said they had to reschedule for Monday at 10am. They arrived around 11 and sat inside the vehicle outside of my front door for nearly an hour. I called the office to find out what was going on and was told they were having lunch. Finally after 12, they knocked on the door. The problem was inspected for 5 mins and they said they had to go to Home Depot for a new filter cartridge. So I could have some idea what that part would cost, I looked on Home Depot website and it cost between fifty and eighty. They came back and it took them 5 minutes to install and 5 minutes to turn the knob and take pictures of water coming out of all 3 locations. I received the bill, if the part cost the highest at eighty, they charged me three times that costing me two fifty. I asked for a breakdown so I could understand exactly what I was paying for but the lady refused. 10 minutes of work and a part that costs eighty is NOT WORTH two fifty! As a frame of reference. We had a bad circuit breaker that went bad. The Electrician had to go to Home Depot for the part. Took 20 minutes to fix, they charged one sixty. No way the plumber should have cost one hundred more for LESS WORK. AND IF, they charge by time, I am pissed because that means they are charging me for them sitting in the truck for over an hour having lunch. UNACCEPTABLE! I will never ever use or recommend these people again.

Fantastic plumbing company. I recently moved to Oldsmar, bought a house and inside of the first week of being in my new home I realized the master water connection from the street to the house was leaking (home inspector should have caught it but did not, probably thought it was from the sprinkler system). Since I am new to the area I was a bit nervous finding a good plumbing company. I rolled the dice and based on reviews chose Believe Plumbing and am thrilled I did. Everything went as I could have hoped. I called Believe, a very friendly and helpful woman answered, had the owner come out and give me an estimate very quickly, he showed up exactly on time, scheduled his crew the next day, they had to root around in my hard for a quite a bit and actually found three leaks, I have lots of old trees in my yard which had slowly worked their roots into my outside plumbing pipes. Price was very fair for the work performed, and everyone I dealt with from Believe from the operator who answered my call, to the owner to the very professional crew who worked half a day through very unpleasant weather to fix my problem. Very happy that being new to the Tampa area I have a trusted plumbing company I can rely on!

For months my toilet has not been filling. I can hear the water running and nothing that it fills. on top of that it was leaking. I called Believe because their name caught my interest and because they are close to our home. I was expecting same old plumbing service. you know the one. take forever to do walking back and forth and huge amounts of money. What I got was incredible service. Junior and Carlos were on time. Professional. Clean. Immediately identified the problem. Gave me a fair quote. Were respectful. None of that jibber jabber stuff. Came in took care of the work and voila I have a toilet that does its function. And above all they cleaned after themselves and did not muddy my floors. I am delighted.
